In this episode Sarah from Promise Place is back and we discuss the topic of suicide and how it impacts veterans, children, teens and adults. We discuss cultural differences regarding how mental health is viewed in hispanic cultures and the prevalence of suicide in society today. In this episode, we have two special guest's Sarah, a Victim Support Specialist and Linda a Trauma Therapist with Promise Place here in New Bern North Carolina. Linda has two children ages 20 and 22 while Sarah is a new mom with a 2 month old. We will discuss their concerns about parenting a child, what to do if your child is abused, or even if your child is violent and how to help them.
