WE'RE BACK with a new Podcast, welcome to Property Profiles, the podcast series that delves deep into the select lives of Brisbane’s most prolific property owners and their Real Estate journeys.

We’re very lucky to have Jamie and Nicky Charman join us for this first chat to kick off the podcast. Jamie is an ex AFL player turned Buyers Agent, and Nicki heads up high-end Aussie fashion boutique, Calexico. They own multiple properties around Brisbane including in Hendra and New Farm.

For the third episode of The Collegiate Podcast, I wanted to speak with local powerhouse and my incredible colleague at Ray White New Farm, Karla Lynch.   Karla has had an amazing journey so far and is now smashing it! 

Like all of us it wasn't easy in the early days. In this episode, she talks us through her proud kiwi roots and hosting a mtv type tv show with her twin sister, her work as a property manager and also as Matt Lancashire's associate.   

And now Karla is a thriving lead agent,  running a very systemised business model. Karla is also firmly entrenched in the local fabric of her patch suburbs, and places compassionate community engagement at the forefront of her business.

In this episode of The Collegiate Podcast, I sat down with Tom Lyne, a fellow colleague at Ray White New Farm.   Tom grew up in the rural Queensland town of Dalby and ventured to the big smoke of Brisbane after completing high school. 

After building up a blossoming career in the property scene, Tom decided to follow his now wife across to England to set up a life in London, extending and refining his market skill set. A few years later he journeyed back to our shores with a reignited ambition to be the one of the best in the game. 

 Now an urban family man, Tom has already hit elite status for this financial year. For a fun and  relaxed guy he runs a tight, structured ship and is proof that dedicated and meticulous processes pay off.   

Throughout the chat, Tom drops some insightful gems of wisdom. I'm so grateful to be able to work alongside Tom on a number of properties and projects and thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit down and chat with him about his real estate journey.

Scott was the first non principal in the office to achieve the $1Million commission landmark inside the office and has gone on in leaps and bounds since then.
