Why You Shouldn't Ask Couples This Topics: Babies Edition

Why You Shouldn't Ask Couples This Topics: Babies Edition

So your inlaws keep pestering you about grandbabies. Now what?? Children are a blessing, and because of this, parenthood should not be a decision made on an impulse. In this episode, we talk about things not to ask married couples, such as, "when are you having children?" and "how many children are you having?". These questions should be between a husband, wife, God, and their doctor. As much as everyone means well, this boundary should not be crossed unless the couple first initiates the topic. In the season of waiting, pray for your children and know that though they're not physically with you, they're already in existence with God who lives outside of time.

Don’t Hide Your Joy!

Don’t Hide Your Joy!

Thank you for tuning in! In today’s episode we talk about joy in all seasons. Let’s not confuse joy and happiness because they’re not one and the same. Having joy in all seasons doesn’t mean life is perfect. It’s an intentional decision to trust God in all seasons.

Happy Advent & Celebrating Christ-Mass

Happy Advent & Celebrating Christ-Mass

Thank you for tuning in for today’s episode! It’s Advent season and yesterday was the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary! I hope you’re getting into the holiday cheer and if not, I hope today’s episode helped get you there! As I said in today’s episode, know that there’s no price tag for this season. The birth of Christ is priceless and His gift and sacrifice is priceless, so celebrate Him this season without the pressure of having to spend a certain amount.

Is Blood Really Thicker Than Water?

Is Blood Really Thicker Than Water?

In today’s episode we have a heart-to-heart about dealing with those family members who would rather you follow their desire for your life over God’s will for your life. With the holidays here I know I for one I’m feeling most certain unmotivated to deal with difficult family members. If this year has helped me realized anything, it’s that God reigns over all else and that includes family ties. I hope you found this episode useful. Be sure to share this with family or friends!

Does Our Allegiance to a Country/Countries Supersede Our Allegiance to God?

Does Our Allegiance to a Country/Countries Supersede Our Allegiance to God?

Today’s episode is a follow up in sort to the previous episodes around Election Day. With Election Day now over in the USA I wanted to discuss why so many have such a strong loyalty to their political party that they put it above their “allegiance” to God and his people. The title’s questions might be simple to answer for some but I ask you to dig deeper and ask yourself this question - does my political believe changes how I treat those around me who might think differently and vote differently from me?

(Difficult) Marriage TRUTHS

(Difficult) Marriage TRUTHS

Hi loves! I hope you're all in high spirits! Today's podcast episode is one I've prayed on and taken my time to talk about. I talk about Will Smith and his wife as well as 8 marriage truths/honesties I wish I had comprehended much better before marriage. I thought it appropriate to talk about the week before my husband and I celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary.

Here are the 8 truths that I go more into details about on this podcast episode:

1. Marriage is difficult

2. Marriage takes WORK

3. Marriage is a long term investment. It’s not a get rich quick type of deal.

4. You can’t be selfish in marriage

5. Marriage is your first baby

6. You will both change

7. The small things become big things

8. You MUST put God as your foundation.

Life is Messy: For Those with Tense Relationships With Their Parent(s)

Reflecting on my life as I grew up away from my biological parents, I wanted to share how Mother's Day feels different to me.

This episode was a difficult one to record but it is one that I'm extremely grateful for the strength to be able to record and share with you all. This one is for the guys and girls who have never felt quite whole and loved because of the lack of relationship/connection with your birth parents. I know the feeling, the hurt, the confusion, the frustration, and all the whys you wonder about.

Advice/Tips for When it Feels Like Everyone is Getting Pregnant Except for You

Advice/Tips for When it Feels Like Everyone is Getting Pregnant Except for You

I'm backkkkkk! It feels like forever! I'm so sorry that it took me a hot second to upload another episode but here we're! In today's episode, I give you 12 tips and advice that I'm giving myself right now and reminders I have for myself for this moment. If you feel this applies to you, you're NOT alone. I feel like everyone (almost everyone) I follow on my Instagram is pregnant, expecting, or is a new parent. I also feel like so many of my friends are expecting right now. I just told my husband the other day that when we have children, our kids won't have anyone their age to play with! Of course, that's not true, but that's kind of how it feels at times. So, if this episode speaks to you let me know on my Instagram

P.S. I'm praying for those actively trying to get pregnant and or currently pregnant and are experiencing anxiety due to the current times we're in. I love you and I'm sending you so much light and prayer. I see you and I'm praying for you.

Difficulties in Marriage that Leads to Grace

Difficulties in Marriage that Leads to Grace

Hey guys and gals! This week's episode is all about difficulties in a marriage that leads to grace. I talk about ways God prepared us and continues to prepare us for the big things in our marriage. The topis are sex, counseling, school, scheduling, house buying, children, and more! So come on and take a ride with me while I reflect on our first year of marriage and the things we've had to allow God to work through in us as a couple. I hope that for anyone getting married, already married or have been married for some time, you come to realize that you're not alone and that we all have different journeys. However, it doesn't mean we can't share our experiences to help one another feel less alone.

I would also like to say that in this difficult moment, please tune in to EWTN as another way to spend time in the word of God.

Please send us any prayer requests that you might have. We would love to pray for you and your loved ones in this time of difficulty.

Do You Even Lent?: Lenten Season in the Catholic Church

Hey there! In this episode, I talk about all things Lenten Season in the Catholic church. From what is Lent to what do Catholics eat and not eat during this season of fasting, prayer, and penitence. I talk about giving up something vs. taking on something for the Lenten season and I also talk about why certain things should not be given up at this time. I even talk about why so many of your Facebook friends might be inactive at this moment! Through it all, I reference quotes from AboutCatholic.com. Check out the link below to read it for yourself.
