Peace & Unity
When you think of the word peace what is the first thing that comes to mind? Maybe it’s the absence of war, the end of riots, a truce. Or, that husband and wife stop fighting with one another. A boss and their employee in a better relationship perhaps? Or maybe you’re thinking “I’m debt free at last - now I will have peace!”. Why is it that so few people have peace? Jesus’ first words after the resurrection were, “Peace be with you”. Let's explore how we can have peace with God, peace with one another and personal peace. Preacher: Harold Hart. cityhillglobal.com
The Power of Forgiveness
We continue to look at the Lord’s Prayer, focusing on the final verses where we find a very powerful yet sometimes overlooked word - forgiveness. It is powerful enough to stop evil and liberate both the victim and the perpetrator. Preacher: Lijo Johnson. cityhillglobal.com

Standing In The Gap
Paul, in almost all of his letters, makes a point to mention to the receivers that he is praying for them; that he thanks God for them and remembers them always before God. Paul here stands in the gap between God and the church. Very much like the high priest in the Old Testament. Although we have a high priest who has entered the holy of holies in heaven - Jesus, who never ceases to pray for us, we can also be assured that when we pray and intercede for one another, God does act. That is why we are called a company of priests. It is because we have the mandate from God to intercede for others. Preacher: Fusi Mokoena. cityhillglobal.com
Entrusted to the Father
Throughout the gospels, we see Jesus praying in all kinds of situations. He healed people with prayer, he teaches his followers to pray, he takes time alone to pray and he faces his darkest trial with prayer. Here in John 17, right before Jesus goes to be with the Father, we see Jesus pray for his disciples and the future church. Through this prayer, John gives us deep insight into how we are to live as the people of God in a city like Dubai. Preacher: Joel Mason. cityhillglobal.com
From Duty to Delight
We’ll be focusing on how our daily bread and the supernatural provisions from God, as well as our forgiveness, are both the fruit of God’s kingdom here on earth. Preacher: Fusi Mokoena. cityhillglobal.com
Praying For His Kingdom & Will To Come
It’s widely known that almost all religions around the world believe and practice prayer in some form, and that they do it in various ways. One day, Jesus’ disciples came asking him to “teach them how to pray”. Why did the disciples specifically ask about prayer? And why did they want to follow Jesus’ pattern? Thanksgiving for the Church
If you are looking for the perfect church then you might be disappointed! Even in the early church, they had their fair share of challenges and struggles. However, Paul didn’t ignore the challenges in the local church, but instead addressed them. He looked at their strengths and the positives and thanked God for the local church.
