Getting to the bag doesn't just mean securing money and financial success...but it is also about securing mental and spiritual growth as well. Die Empty
On todays episode, I share what it means to Die Empty. How many times did you say, I wish I would have done this or that? I'll be honest and admit that I was there once and it's not a good feeling to feel like you aren't doing what you should be doing. I was reminded that creatives never quit creating...that means that no matter what I will not stop creating and building and executing the plans and visions that I have placed inside of me. I don't want to die and still be full of dreams and ideas that could have helped some one. I am going to work those dreams NOW! And when I do...I'm going to give it all I got!

Treat Yourself
Treat yourself, Does that even exist...? I know as parents, especially mothers our daily task are never ending that sometimes we can become so consumed that we lose energy, feel down and even overwhelmed. I know, I'VE BEEN THERE! On todays episode I simply wanted to remind you that you are important and we should never forget that. Life for me is busy so finding some simple quick things to make me smile and feel good about myself is important. What would your list look like? Do you have specials treats that you do for yourself like getting your hair or nails done, a spa date with yourself, running by your favorite coffee shop to grab that Carmel latte you so desperately need, take a long quiet drive home....nope, is that just me????? LOL Whatever the treat is don't forget to give yourself lots of it, because our self-care and mental health is important. It's those reminders that gives me that extra boost to keep going!

Find a way to shake off the doubt, fear, anxieties and uncertainty you may feel, re-affirm yourself and GET YO LIFE, your thoughts and plans back in order! Work your vision!
Listen, I want to encourage you…don't worry about the masses they will come, if you impact the one, that one will impact another one and so on! #11: Kid Free or Nah?
Kid-free, what is kid free?
Can you imagine taking a magical 3 day vacation to a beautiful city you've never heard of...that you found a trust worthy sitter who would love and nurture the kids, get them off to school, feed and tuck them in at night the way you do while you're away? Doesn't that sound delightful? Yea, I woke up after I read 3 days and realized that wasn't going to happen.
Do you ever get kid-free time? Is there ever such a thing? Lets chat...I need to vent.

#10: Daddy Issues feat. Reginald McKinney
This episode is one for the books. I feel I can finally have closure. My father passed when I was 7, I never really got to build the father-daughter relationship I longed for and have felt empty for the past 27 years.
My Uncle was one family member from my fathers side who stepped up and stepped in when he died. Today he answers any and every questions, share some good and bad moments of my dad to help me on this road to closure and healing. We both were extremely nervous we had to take a break due to getting a little overwhelmed. Laughter helped me to compress my tears. This was very helpful.
If you're still dealing with a loss I highly recommend seeking counsel or just someone who you can open up and talk with so the healing can begin.
Thanks for everyone for the support, this one was hard...but I'm glad I did it.

#09: Billion Dollar Potential
Hey Boss! On this episode of Queen in Me we explore our God given billion dollar ideas. A lot of ideas and dreams are never birthed because we're afraid of the process. A simple talk with my son stirred up the most powerful drive and I'm after every red cent God meant for me to have! Time to get to work, goal setting and then applying the work. Moms can't be a BOSS and be there for their families.
This year we refuse to have a still-born ideas. I hope these tips encourage you to pick up that pen, research for resources and make those dreams/ideas come true!
