This episode is a roller coaster of emotions for me but Body acceptance and body shame is a very real confidence issue that I myself have struggled with for years. I run you through my journey to loving the body I was gifted using my 3 phase Adjust Your Crown Program: 

Phase 1. Unmasking the root of my shame, guilt and grief over my body, as well as shedding any ideas I had about myself due to others projections of me. 

Phase 2. Rebuilding my identity and the essence of self. This is where I took my power back and spent the most time developing the foundation of my relationship with my body. This is where self love and inner trust is built. 

Phase 3: Affirm that my purpose is my purpose no matter what my temple looks like. The most important piece of my body acceptance journey has been to always feel comfortable and proud of the version of me I deliver to the world.

Forgiveness of self outweighs everything else we give grace to because we are our own lifetime companion, so it better be a damn good relationship. IF you can't forgive the person in the mirror, how do you expect to be able to truly forgive someone else. Carrying the weight of distrust, anger, malice or even sadness plants seeds of an off balance divinity. Here is my take on how you can ignite and influence forgiveness in your life.

The Last 2 episodes  we have been talking about  the phases of the Adjust Your Crown Coaching Program. Phase 1 is the unmask phase and phase 2 is the rebuild phase, today were getting into the 3rd and final phase the affirm phase.

As we get closer and closer to the Adjust Your Crown Retreat and I can see some of the major points that The Royal Tribe wants to dive into while were all face to face and sharing energy in one space. In episode 7 we get deeper on what exactly the Unmasking Phase is all about and what are some free everyday activities and mindset shift's behind this phase.  This podcast is a short listen but these tips are going to take time! So although you'll be done with this episode in no time remember in REAL LIFE to give yourself grace and empathy for being a human being, having a human experience, on a human time frame, with human emotions. 

Alright so let's talk about fear of loneliness. A lot of people are so uncomfortable with feeling alone that they will subject themselves to company that is below their standards just to fill that space. It's giving, "this is beneath me but my codependency or fear is currently outweighing reason and logic." Don't do that. Reimagine what it means to have an abundance of energy, time & resources to spend as you see fit. Taking the time to understand your thoughts and how you process situations, energy and emotions is essential when bringing balance to your divine feminine and masculine. 

We are 5 episodes deep into season 4. So far we've discussed Reflection, divine timing, being grateful for endings, confidence boosters for those really low moments and  today were getting into letting shit go.  If comparison is the thief of joy then holding on is his broke ass homeboy. 

The divine feminine is meant to be open to receive opportunities of abundance from all directions of life. When we release the need to control the outcome, we give ourselves the opportunity to challenge ourselves in order to grim from experience.

In this episode I want to remind you that this journey takes time..... Yes the journey of life is a long one & worthy investments take time , consistency and patience. We've talked about reflection & small confidence boosters but I think it's important that while we're moving and growing and elevating that we appreciate the divine timing of this journey. Divine timing means everything when self development is taking place because if your mindset is not ready, open and willing to receive the lessons life is presenting to you at the time your called to learn them, growth cannot happen. 

Last week I told you guys my thoughts on utilizing reflection to grow & not being afraid to look at the past. I went over some mindset shifts and exercises for my reflection routine, and the impact reflection has had in my life & journey to building my confidence.  

This week I thought I would give you some tangible exercises for you to apply to your day to day life. Once you get into reflecting it can be a bit distressing when you see the patterns in your life and YOU are the common factor. You start to feel down on yourself so I have 4 INSTA confidence boosters that I use, as needed, to make sure I'm never letting my crown slip.

This is just a friendly reminder for you to remember that YOU are the star of your own life and you need to remember to refuel and recharge yourself regularly. YOU DESERVE IT.

Today we are chatting with our good sis Jasmine Anderson of Boss Babe Love Brunch. Jasmine is a self made Queen embracing whatever the universe throws at her with style and grace. She runs Boss Babes Love Brunch which has had to pivot a lot of their interactions within the community because of COVID. Jasmine tells us why building an authentic community amongst boss babes is so important and how we can join her journey to our own individual greatness. 

For some reason I haven't had the greatest of luck establishing a mentor to mentee relationship so I took it upon myself to create my own Mentor. She is ME, just the 50 year old version of myself. 

In this episode I give you all the details as to what my 50 year old self is like and why the decisions I make today are a must for my mentor to live happy and comfortably. 

I wanted to take the time to address the femininity shaming that goes on amongst us. There are certain stigmas that hang over women which makes it all the harder to feel confident about our divine power. I have no shame in loving and appreciating my feminine traits even the ones that make others feel threatened or overwhelmed. A goddess never whimpers, or dims her light to save someone else's ego or insecurity. 

For Episode 3 I've brought in my good sis Rashawnda Scott of Pieces of Kandakes, to affirm that divine femininity can and should be expressed through creativity. Rashawnda is a friend, a mother of 4, a wife, a mentor, a healer, an entrepreneur and a divine black womban.
