Co-hosts Breana, Benny, and Dani are joined my CVLGBTQ+'s Vice President of Operatins, Dan Hardy, as we discuss LGBTQ+ movies. We have seen a call for more LGBTQ+ representation, especially in LGBTQ+ roles in the recent years, we have also seen more LGBTQ+ centered blockbusters. We talk about our favorite movies, the ones that were hits and misses, as well as what we want to see out of the future of LGBTQ+ movies.

Do all viruses matter?

Do all viruses matter?

We've all been affected by COVID-19 one way or another. From being quarantined and having Pride cancelled, to binge watching Pose and the Golden Girls. However there are big populations of people who are more susceptible to catching the virus. It's been reported about the disparities in cases among Black and Brown communities. However, LGBTQ folks are also much more likely to contract the virus as well. Yet the media doesn't report about the ramifications COVID-19 causes our community . It's not the first time a virus has significantly impacted the Queer community. The HIV/AIDS epidemic has been targeting many LGBTQ people for decades, leading to years of discrimination, false rumors, and unnecessary deaths. In this episode, Breana and Ron are discussing both the Coronavirus pandemic and HIV/AIDS epidemic, the impact both have on LBGTQ folks, and why the media ignores reporting about the affects of COVID-19 in the LGBTQ population. Plus another fun filled Golden Girls Minute!!
