Today we talk to the 2023 Insitute of Noetic Science Winners who are pushing the realms of Quantum Science into Consciousness Research and proving that consciousness extends beyond the brain.
Wolfhardt Janu Janu is member of the oREGano team and Wyrd Research.
He is core faculty member of the course “Science and Consciousness of the world” at Ubiquity university.
He holds a PhD in chemistry and worked for 10 years in academic research.
Janu then moved as a freelancer to software and hardware development for customized laboratory solutions, where he set up his own private laboratory to investigate the relationship between matter and consciousness which is his (secret) main scientific interest for 25 years.
Together with his colleagues and friends he developed a new method to scan the output of two random number event generators (#REG’s) for correlations, which enables one to detect with high precision changes in a non-local field, mainly known as #fieldo consciousness.
On his journey, he has been practising #BujinkanBudoTaijutsu for 19 years, came in touch with African Shamanism (#Sangoma) and (co-)led several private scientific teams investigating the “paranormal” in theory and practise. In 2007 he came in touch with the work of Ken Wilber and since then he and his team(s) are using the AQUAL map as the main tool to navigate and communicate on the margins of the so-called “unknown”.
Wolfhardt Janu is married, has two children and lives in Austria.
Michael Oswald
Michael has a MSc in computer science and works in the space industry as a senior specialist for mission control systems and satellite testing. He is also the software lead for the Wyrdoscope from Wyrd Technologies and part of Wyrd Research. He is also a core faculty member of the Ubitquity University for the Science & Consciousness of the Self course.
He has been training Japanese martial arts and
Japanese medicine for more than 20 years and is the head of the Austrian Association for Promotion of #AmatsuRyoho (a special Japanese Medicine), for
which he also holds a teachers degree. He also is qualified in western therapies (massage, NLP master practitioner) and has been training and using other disciplines like EMDR, psycho-kinesiology, systemic therapies and
shamanistic methods.
An important base for getting everything together is Integral Metatheory, especially how to apply the principles in life.

What Happens When A Gold Paralympian Takes on Unchartered Territory in Antartica?
Rachel welcomes Karen Darke back to The Wyrd World after her intrepid trip to the South Pole. We find out what it took to get her there. What physical trials she encountered from the prospect of being paralysed from the Chest down and the lasting effects it has left on her since her return?
The POLE OF POSSIBILITY (POP) is a World- First and Guinness World-record breaking journey to the South Pole in which the team will explore personal and planetary possibility around mindset, technology and sustainability.
Paralympian Karen Darke and team will cycle and ski across the Antarctic plateau using enabling technology to explore the value of nature. Karen, paralysed from the chest down will unravel the process and mindsets that have helped to navigate tough mental, emotional and physical challenges. The team will explore the power of nature and its critical role in keeping humans and the planet in balance and wellness.
The journey into the icy Antarctic wilds will be with film-maker Mike Webster who will record the expedition through a documentary film, and Professor Mike Christie of Aberystwyth University who will use the expedition as a research platform to demonstrate the impacts of climate change on the Antarctic continent and how this has wider impacts to people and nature across the world.
The Team’s vision is to ‘inspire through exploration’. Through this unique expedition, the POLE OF POSSIBILITY Team will demonstrate what is possible when we seek the growth in difficult challenges, and highlight how interactions with nature can keep ourselves and our planet in a state of health & and wellness.

Their mission is to promote possibility thinking: with enabling technology, team and mindset, we can all make our world healthier, more sustainable and happy.
The team hope to encourage people to see the opportunities in adversity and diversity, to recognise the value of nature for physical and mental well-being, and to catalyse thinking on sustainable living.
At the age of 21, Karen had a life changing rock-climbing accident that left her paralysed from the chest down. Karen’s spirit of adventure and love for nature helped her overcome adversity to become a paralympic gold medallist and to also undertake numerous expeditions including hand-cycling across the Himalayas and to climb one of the World’s biggest rock walls ‘El Capitan’. The POLE OF POSSIBILITY will be Karen’s biggest adventure to date. Her paralysis not only create enormous physical challenges for travelling across the frozen Antarctic plateau, but the extreme cold will also have significant physiological impacts on Karen’s body.
The POLE OF POSSIBILITY will also be a World and Guinness Record:, a World First for a female to sit-ski to the South Pole and a World Record for the furthest distance ever taken to the Pole by sit-ski.

What is Criminology and do we need to look at it Globally?
Should we be looking more into Global Criminology than poverty induced criminology? Today we talk to David Scott to find out more about what this means and how our values and integrity are enough to make the changes individually for the sake of the collective.

Dr David Scott works at The Open University. He was the inaugural chair of the Open University module DD105 Introduction to Criminology, which is the largest criminology module (in terms of student numbers) in the UK. He is a former co-ordinator of the European Group for the Study of Deviance and Social Control, the most established critical criminology society in Europe, and a founding member and chair of the Weavers Uprising Bicentennial Committee, which is a public history project aiming t to raise awareness of the 1826 weavers uprising in East Lancashire. Over the last few years, David has been campaigning against government prison building plans and is co-author of the- recent independent report Four New Prisons Programme: Chorley Prison - The Case Against. He is a member of the academic advisory group for INQUEST, which supports the families of people who die in state custody and has published widely on prisons, punishment and penal abolition. Recent books include Against Imprisonment (2018) and For Abolition (2020) and the co-edited volume The International Handbook of Penal Abolition (2021).

The Science Behind EFT
Today we talk to Dr Peta Stapleton about her scientific research on Emotional Freedom Technique and the results she and her team have accumulated since the 1990's to present day.
From eating disorders to panic attacks and physical pain EFT has had some remarkable results not only in the speed of helping symptoms disappear but the longevity of them too.
In this delightful interview with Dr Stapleton we also delve into the latest research she is undertaking with Dr Joe Dispenza as the journey of working with the energy system often blend together various methodologies of working such as meditation and tapping.

The results have been outstanding. This treatment has now been compared to a gold standard, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and also in an online and self-directed format. My lifelong focus has been working with the Self-Knowledge Method (SKM) and lately the digital version: my Insight Out (mIO).
The SKM conquered my heart in 1980 and I am still enthusiastic, Why?
I think it's fantastic that people find wisdom within themselves with both self-reflection methods. And when I work as coach with this ingenious technique, I do not have to rely on my interpretations. I can use all my attention to create a field and follow the process with curiosity and empathy. Badass Intellect Bob Talks All Things Weird
Bob Paddock is by personal confession "a professional Nerd".
He was born with "The Knack", per Dilbert, and has been programming and designing Embedded Systems ever since.
Embedded Systems are all those little computers that run today's world that no one things about. Such as your TV Clicker or your Microwave Oven controls.
Bob is an American Society for Quality - Certified Quality Software Engineer, with background in Analog/Digital hardware system design and layout. Since my wife's suicide I have become an advocate for those too ill too do it for themselves to raise awareness of Intracranial Hypotension due to Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Leaks. As well as the devastation cause by Fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as Levaquin, Cipro etc. that maimed Karen for life. I am also a professional Hypnotists and a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists. All my life I've been on a quest to figure out what is wrong with this 'Reality' and driven to figure out how things like my Precognition work, and improve our collective 'Knowing'...

The Weird World of The Fairy Godmother
Jo Jo Smith was born in Birmingham in 1974. Her childhood was far from normal and with her mum suffering from MS, and a father she didn’t know, she ended up in the care system at just 18 months old and was split up from her sister, who she then didn’t see until adulthood. Jo Jo moved to live with foster parents whom she refers to now as Mum and Dad, and lived with them until she was 6, when her mum was diagnosed as being well again, and she got returned to her original home. This was a strange time for Jo Jo as whilst happy to be with her mum, she went from having been loved and cared for in a family home with a sibling to living alone with her mum in a mid rise flat, and having to be ‘the grown up’ walking herself to school at the age of 6. However soon enough MS paralysed her mum again, and Jo Jo was the one who rang for an ambulance taking on the responsibility of carer which she had learnt. By the next day she found herself in a children’s home, and stayed there for nearly 2 years, until her previous foster family found out and instantly requested she returned to them. Purely by accident they found out she was in care, as they were about to foster 2 others.

How I Healed my Chronic Fibromyalgia With Tina Wright
Rachel talks to Tina about Healing her own Chronic Pain with Fibromyalgia and the Weird scenarios along the way.
Tina Wright is a Chronic Pain and Anxiety Expert.
She is an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher by profession who suffered with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia, IBS, TMJD, and severe migraines.
She was able to go from working part-time in the NHS, non-stop crying when typing due to the immense pain in her hands and feeling guilty taking sick leave to full force in her business, having learnt how to conquer her pain and start taking control of her body and life.
Now, she empowers others to release their chronic pain by dealing with their physical symptoms at a psychological level - something very few people are looking at.
Her mission is to help individuals transform from feeling frustrated, alone, and anxious to supported, comforted, and free from discomfort, so they can live with ease, prosperity, and self-worth.

A 25 Year Wait for The Diamond with Nish Dubashia!

Rachel met Nish in November 2021, where Nish spoke about his Diamond Model at the International Science and Consciousness conference alongside some of the world's leading academics and scientists, including Brenda and Jeff Dunne, directors of the International Consciousness Research Laboratories at Princeton University.

Nish Dubashia is a British writer and Integral thinker. He has studied under some of the world's finest research mathematicians at the University of Warwick and has been a lifelong student and practitioner of the spiritual traditions.
He is the author of The Unity of Everything (2018), an account of how he was personally invited by @DavidBohm, one of the greatest physicists of the twentieth century and close associate of Einstein, to Birkbeck College in London, to discuss an evolutionary and metaphysical model (now known as the Diamond Model) that Nish had developed while still in his early twenties, its correlations with modern physics, and its demonstration of the underlying unity of the spiritual traditions. This book has been referenced in academic journals and workshops, and briefly reached Number One in a major UK best-selling chart in the “Religion and Science” category. In November 2020, Nish spoke at Humanity Rising, a Global Summit that was broadcast on the Awake TV network to over 20,000 people, on the unity of all religions. He also appeared on the cover of Integral Leadership Review, the world’s leading publication in the field of integrated approaches to leading and leadership.
In June 2021, Nish teamed up with Peter Merry and Marilyn Hamilton to talk about the underlying unity of the world’s spiritual traditions at the World Unity Week, a huge international conference that aims to bring together writers and thinkers from around the world.
Nish also writes fiction under the pen name Nishad Cote, and his works include Gifted (2015), which briefly entered the UK Amazon Top 20 in one of the Young Adult categories and also reached the quarter-finals of a major international writing competition hosted by major Hollywood directors and agents, and Dancing with Angels (2021), which has been endorsed by Oxford scholar and best-selling writer Anne Baring, who has described it as gripping, fascinating, illuminating and brilliant.

Time For Scientists to Come Out and Break Free!
Vasileios Basios opens up the discussion on how Scientists want to break free from the Dogma of financial constraints for their research. Breaking free into the Galileo Commission he and others are encouraging Researchers & Academics to bring Consciousness into their research and allow science to cover the whole of who we are.
Rachel met Vasileios Basis at Broughton Hall in November 2021 at the Wyrd Experience organised by Peter Merry. This meeting sparked an interest for Rachel to reconnect with the group at Broughton and further afield so discuss "The Weird World of Knowing" from a science perspective as well as a Consciousness perspective.
Vasileios joins Rachel to bring together the world of Spirit meeting Science and see how changes are developing in the research world through The Galileo Commission.
Vasileios is a senior researcher in the Physics of Complex Systems (University of Brussels), conducting interdisciplinary research (self-organization, chaos and emergence, foundations of complex systems). He believes that never before has the need for a qualitative change in science been so apparent and pressing and that complexity studies have made such a radical change not just possible but imperative, and he is inspired by the prospect of introducing self-reflection into the practice -and the understanding- of science.
