3 Mistakes That Coaches Make That Are Keeping You In Perpetual Self-doubt
I know you want to help your clients get more efficient and faster results and be known as the go to coach in your niche. This episode is for you if . . . ❌  You have completed a certification and you are gung ho about getting started, but the idea of getting on a call right now with a paying client makes you want to crawl into a ball and hide. ❌ Right now you are afraid you won’t be able to get your clients results in the time frame you have allocated. ❌ Getting onto a consult call with someone and hearing the issues they are having and instead of feeling excited about diving in with them and enrolling them into your program you go into self-doubt and start to wonder whether or not you acn really help them get to their end goal. ❌ That your going to get on a call and not know what to say or your client is going to bring a problem that you don’t know how to navigate through, ❌ You're feeling a bit overwhelmed and uncertain about who you exactly help and the process you take them through so that they do get the results they desire. So why should you even listen to me - Because -Just like you, when I first started my coaching business I was overwhelmed with self-doubt and uncertainty. It constantly felt like I was taking one step forward and two steps back. I was constantly questioning whether or not I could really help someone get results.  The thought, "Am I a good coach" was like a broken record playing in my mind. “Do I really know enough yet” I was over complicating everything. I was exhausting myself and not hitting my goals, and the few clients I had weren’t getting results as fast as I wanted for them. Sound familiar? I knew in my heart and soul this was the work I was put on this planet to be doing - but the fear of not getting it right was holding me back. And I now can see this was also holding my clients back. And I want you to learn from my mistakes. It took me surrounding myself with coaches who were strong enough to call me out on my own bullshit.  And because of the work I was willing to stretch myself, and feel uncomfortable. How to turn your desires 💫 into reality . . . You want to be having 5k, 10k, and 20k months as a coach. . . I get it. Right now it feels so far off. And letting yourself even desire it feels frightening and maybe even ridiculous. Let’s be real - you're thinking - “it’s so far off - I’m nowhere near that.” And you are constantly doubting your abilities as a coach so how could this ever happen, and maybe questioning yourself, “can I get people's results.” So, of course you don’t let yourself desire what you truly want. Energy Leaks
If your coaching business hasn’t quite gotten the traction you have been hoping for . . . ❌ Your clients aren’t getting the results you know is possible for them, ❌ You aren’t attracting clients that are an ideal fit for your program, ❌ You're not booking consults consistently, and when you do they have tons of excuses why they can’t do it now - too expensive, they don’t have enough time, or they just simply don’t believe it will work. ❌ Or your attracting clients, but then they come to your calls resistant, or with nothing to get coached on. Identity Shifts After Loss
After any loss whether it be - death, a relationship, or a career there is a shift in your identity. Who you were now no longer exists and this can be extremely challenging for many people. Ray Warner is no exception to this.  He, like many people, experienced the loss of his first wife at 22 and for many years found himself in a dark hole feeling lost and helpless. Fortunately for a good friend who inspired him to take a personal development course he was able to shift out of this space into a place where the light began to shine again. Processing Emotions
Processing emotions, does that sound scary or complicated? I used to think that because I didn’t understand what it really meant. Here’s my interpretation: Allowing a feeling to be in your body without resisting, avoiding or reacting. Just noticing it. Seems so simple right? It actually can be simple.  However, I wouldn’t say it’s always easy. Choosing to feel discomfort goes against everything our primitive brains are wired for.  So, we don’t choose it, even though it is required to live a fully free life. Ironic right? If we want to be free, we have to do the exact opposite of what our brains want us to do.  We have to choose discomfort, avoid pleasure in the moment, and be willing to face fear. Our world has evolved since primitive time, so what was best for us then, isn’t necessarily best for us now. Today’s episode is all about processing pain so you can live free.  Which doesn’t mean being happy all the time.  It just means living the human experience, feeling all the good and the bad.  Remember if we were happy all the time we wouldn’t even know it because we would have nothing to compare it to. The Power of Non-Negotiables
By the time your head hits the pillow at the end of each day, you feel like a truck has run you over multiple times. You are pouring into other people all day long.  From your work to your kids to your spouse.  It feels like you just give and give and give. You're not sure how much longer you can keep up this pace before you lose your shit. Every day you dream of when life will feel a bit less overwhelming and when you will have “enough time” to do it all and not feel exhausted. I know you are an amazing mom, wife, and CEO (yes, if you are an entrepreneur you are a CEO) but it’s important that you also fill your own cup.  Remember you can’t pour from an empty one. Believe it or not, by taking time for yourself every day you will have more time and energy.  I know you might be thinking right now - I don’t have the time, but you do. It’s up to you to make the time. When you see yourself as a priority you will make the time to give back to yourself. What you aren’t seeing right now is that by filling yourself up first, giving to others will be so much easier, by doing things for yourself you will actually save time, I know it sounds a bit crazy but it’s true. Patience
I’m not a patient person. And . . . Most of us aren't. Patience isn’t something that we are born with. We have to work really freakin hard at cultivating it. Nowadays it's even harder with so much so easily accessible to us at the push of a button.  No wonder why so many people are struggling so much. Our primitive brains love it. They are wired for comfort, pleasure, and as little energy as possible - so waiting isn’t in our DNA. But in order to create a thriving wellness business, it’s going to require a shit ton of patience. So it’s time we all go to work on building up our patience muscles and that’s exactly why I dedicated today's episode to this topic. Self Trust
Do you trust yourself? Let’s be honest, most people don’t. You tell yourself you are going to do something and if you're lucky you follow through 50% of the time.  How many times have you told yourself you are going to wake up workout and mediate only to hit the snooze button one to many times.  Ending up with barely enough time to shower non the less workout or doing anything else. Confidence Muscles
We have all been told that in order to feel confident we have to practice our craft over and over again. Yes, practice is important but what if you can start feeling more confident before you have mastered your craft? The truth is, it’s relative when it comes to mastering a craft. One person might believe that it takes weeks or months while another person may think it takes years. In truth, the only difference between these people is their thoughts. Their personal perspective. Neither are true or false. Right or wrong. Confidence is a feeling.  That we can all agree upon. Feelings are generated by our mind.  Our thoughts. This is great news.  It doesn’t have to take months or years to gain confidence. It can happen in an instant. The only thing it requires is you changing the way you view yourself. The 5 musts that will help you on your entrepreneurial journey. Growing up no one teaches you how to think like an entrepreneur - at least most of us aren’t. School teaches us to show up at a certain time everyday and leave at a certain time each day. We are given due dates for assignments and if you don’t complete them there are consequences. Then you are encouraged to join the “corporate world” and get a 9-5 job which encourages all the same behavior - not self trust or inner responsibility.  But this lifestyle isn’t working for you.  It feels restrictive, not creative, and you have this calling for something outside of the box - different than the manual you have been given. You take that leap of faith and go out on your own - embark on this thing called entrepreneurship. No one gives you a manual.  So you are still using the one from your past - the 9-5 manual. It doesn’t work. It seems to be failing you completely - because it would be like applying a manual for a pc on your apple computer - they have totally different systems. So, you end up struggling - things aren’t getting done - your business isn’t getting the traction you know it is capable of. The only thing that has gone wrong is you are using the wrong manual. Start Hitting Your Goals
4 simple steps to start hitting your goals today  You either aren’t setting goals at all or   You are setting goals without a plan or Hitting your goals. Go you- if you fall into this category. It’s that simple. Most people I find fall into category 1 or 2. You are doing 1 and 2 to avoid feeling any negative emotions that come from not hitting your goals. The truth is whether you acknowledge them or not, you have goals.   You either speak them out loud or they live in your head.  Humans are driven by goals; it's how we move forward in life. You have two options: 1️⃣ Start to acknowledge them and be more intentional and have a fighting chance at accomplishing them 2️⃣ Ignore them and never give yourself the full opportunity to feel how awesome it is to accomplish them (this is what seems like the safe and easier method - in truth, it isn’t?) Subtle Thoughts

Meditation 101
Read this one thing today and I promise you won’t regret it. You are constantly struggling with staying focused and feel like your mind is on the never ending treadmill. The idea of sitting down and being still sounds dreadful. You know you need something to ground you. You are tired of feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.  By 12 pm you are ready for a nap and the day isn’t even half over. I used to feel this way too! In 2010, my first yoga teacher training, part of our homework was to start meditating 20 minutes 2x a day. I  thought this is insane, you clearly don’t know me at all. There’s no way I can do this.  I can hardly sit with my thoughts for 2 minutes. I am always up for a challenge and I had paid a lot of money to do the training. I wanted to do it “right”. I totally failed.  I think I lasted maybe a week. Years later I came back to it.  I was totally stressed out running two yoga studio’s teaching a dozen classes a week, managing the mom life, and unhappy in my marriage. I was desperate, so I gave it a second try. The practice has 100% changed my life. I can tell you all the amazing benefits of meditation, but just google meditation and read them there. Indulgent Emotions

Building Your Self-Confidence Muscle
Stop telling yourself that confidence is something that you either have or you don’t. You put together an offer for social media and every time you go to post it you freeze.   You either don't post it at all, take off the call to action, or post something super passive like DM if you think this sounds interesting. Then no one responds so it takes you weeks or months to post another offer. You so badly want to be helping people. You’ve got all these amazing tools to teach them. No judgment if I just called you out.  I was doing the same thing.   I would write these posts and feel so excited that someone was going to read it and reach out, and then crickets. I thought it was that my copy sucked. But here’s the thing: I hadn’t built up my self-confidence muscle.  I was constantly doubting myself, my skills, and my abilities. Of course my calls to action were passive or just non existent.   I wasn’t sold on myself or my offer. In order to grow your biz you have to develop unshakable self-confidence. It’s essential. Lesson From Your Future Self
You're working with all the dream clients at the prices you only dreamed of charging. Can you imagine? Most of us spend the majority of our life looking to our past for how to create results for our future. The past only teaches what we have already done. Which is great if you got the result you wanted. But, if you didn't, the past is only going to create a similar result if we repeat what we did.  Which is what most of us tend to do. Albert Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result.  So basically we are all a little insane. Letting Your Past Go
I used to be one of those people who lived in her past beating herself up about choices she made or didn’t make.  Constantly feeling anxious and overwhelmed. I never really thought I could be one of those people who was actually present with what was going on in her current life, and look to the future for the answers. I was raised in a family that seems to hold on pretty tightly to the past.  It’s all I really knew.. Then I was introduced to future thinking. At first I thought it was a crock of shit.  How could you get answers from your future self? It seemed pretty absurd. I couldn’t see the opportunity because I was so attached to my past. The hard truth is, I was terrified to give up these stories, they had shaped me into the person I was, it felt like I was going to lose a piece of myself. But after my divorce, I so desperately didn’t want to keep repeating some of my bad habits.  So I decided to give it a real chance. Accepting your past, honoring it, and leaving it there is so powerful. Get More Done
How to get more done in less time. You think your schedule is what's making you feel exhausted, virtual school, your business, keeping up with the house, and don't forget at the same time trying to lose a few pounds. You feel so tired. Desperately wanting a break. A break from everything. You want someone to tell you it's okay, to give you permission to just pause.  Pause so you can feel less tired and less overwhelmed by everything. You want to wake up feeling calm and relaxed about what the day is going to bring. That you have it all together, that managing it all is no problem. That you respond to everything in your day from a calm centered place, not from a pressured exhausted state. You secretly want to be a woman who follows her schedule without any struggle. Who makes it look so easy so where others are even jealous of her and how much she is able to accomplish every day. You buy the planners and have it all organized and ready to go. Writing it all down, putting it on the calendar, telling yourself today I can stick to it. Instead,  you find yourself constantly changing things or just not doing things that you wrote down.  Look, you are human and you have a human brain that responds to desire. We all do. You just need to learn how to follow through for yourself. Plan out your week in a strategic way. Time is Neutral
Let’s be brutally honest, how many times have you caught yourself saying I wish there were more hours in the day? I know I have more time than I would like to admit. You might even be thinking about it right now. You think about everything you want to accomplish in your day. I get it. You are juggling work, kids, a house, and like many of my clients, a business. A business they are working to grow..  So they can leave their day job. You want to feel like there is enough time in the day to get everything done. Deep down you want to be that person everyone is envious of.  Has it all together and makes it look so easy. You have likely tried getting up earlier and it works for a short amount of time, but then you lose the momentum.  Your desire for sleep takes over. The real problem starts with how you are thinking about your time. When you change your relationship with time, you stop wasting so much time. You actually slow down and get more done. I know it sounds a bit crazy. But it’s true.  I know because it has worked like magic for me, and so many of my clients. Happiness

Discipline
Do you ever think wow, she’s so disciplined. I wish I could be more like that? What are you making it mean that this person has that you don’t? (FYI this is key) Isn’t that deep down why you want what she has? You want to feel a certain way. Confident. Healthy. Calm. Maybe all three. Discipline isn’t something we all have or don’t have, we aren’t born with it.  We create it. We create it, just like anything else we want for ourselves in our lives. We create discipline because we think it will make us feel  a certain way. This is why we do everything we do in our lives. It’s always for a feeling we are wanting, craving, and seeking. Did you know that you don’t have to have discipline to have that feeling you are wanting. WHAT? You could just change the way you are thinking. If you want to create discipline, you are going to have to do this first. I’m not saying that being a disciplined person is a bad thing.  I actually think we should all create it.  But, not because we want to feel a certain way.  We should create it because it gets shit done. Don’t you want to get shit done? So you can have a wildly successful life. A life on purpose. How to Self-Coach
If you are still here you have heard me talk a lot about self-coaching and you might be curious what that even entails. Being coached and learning how to self-coach has changed my life in so many positive ways. I am a firm believer that if we all did it daily we would have a lot less struggle and suffering in our lives, our families, in our communities, and on our planet. Now more than ever as we all live through the biggest global pandemic in history, it’s important that we learn how to manage our stress and anxiety. The world is filled with judgement. I don’t know about you but I am seeing it everywhere. When we take these judgements on, we often become anxious, bitter, angry, and lash out. Learning how to not take things personally will help us all be kinder less judgmental individuals. Goals
Yup it’s that time of year.   The time of year when many of us set goals. Goals for the new year. But how often do you set your goals, only to bail on them by February 1. Willpower
It’s almost 2021, and I’m sure, like many people, you are thinking about your New Years goals and intentions. This year you are thinking it will be the year to lose the last 10 pounds, start meditating, stop losing your shit at every little thing, or finally start that side hustle you have been talking about for years. How do you plan to make these goals happen? If you are like many people, are you thinking you are going to have to use willpower to get there?  Thinking this is the only way. I think of willpower like a candle.  The flame is super strong when you first light it, and it can burn for hours, but eventually the wick ends and the candle burns out. Willpower works the same way, it’s not sustaining. If I take away all your willpower and tell you now you have to create your goal without it, does your brain freak out a little bit?  Does it tell you that’s the only way to make it happen? What if there is another way. You can hit your goals without any willpower. Do you want to learn how? I used willpower over and over for years, and it worked at first and like all my favorite candles it always burnt out.  I know there had to be another way, I just didn’t know how.  So I went to work to figure it out. Motivation

Self-trust
Do you trust yourself? Seems like a pretty obvious answer to most.   But really do you? Most people deep down in their core don’t trust themself.   Honestly, they shouldn’t because they don’t follow through with what they are going to do for themself. For example, do you tell yourself I am going to meditate and self-coach every morning, and  do it at best 2 days a week? Or that you are going to read every night and you end up just watching netflix and pass out? Seems like not a big deal right? But. . . Buffering
Do you find yourself in the pantry, the freezer, or grabbing a glass of wine everyday around 4 pm? Decision Dominance
The holidays are filled with decisions to be made.  If you are anything like me or old me, this can feel quite exhausting and overwhelming. Fearing Hunger
If I let myself get hungry I’ll eat everything in sight.  Yup, you are probably going to eat yourself into a coma right? Sounds ridiculous but it’s so often what our brains are telling us. The craziest part is you believe your brain. Why doesn’t your brain only want what’s best for you? Unfortunately not always. Your brain wants to keep you safe and comfortable. So when you are feeling hungry you are most likely also uncomfortable.  So you avoid it. You pick up the excuses you have heard from others like, overeating happens because you let yourself get too hungry.  So then you avoid it at all costs. It’s actually not true. I know for a fact every year on Yom Kippur I fast for about 24 hours and when I start eating, I don’t eat till I’m sick or till I’m in a coma. Why? Because I know how to stop when I’m full.  Actually I usually eat less because my stomach fills up quicker. The key is learning how to stop fearing hunger as the big bad scary wolf and learning how to eat til you're full and becoming more mindful of how you feel. The other part is to fully understand all the bs that your mind is going to serve up in the process and how to deal with it. Your Big Why

Processing Emotions
Processing emotions, does that sound scary or complicated? I used to think that because I didn’t understand what it really meant. Here’s my interpretation: Allowing a feeling to be in your body without resisting, avoiding or reacting. Just noticing it. Seems so simple right? It actually can be simple.  However I wouldn’t say it’s always easy. Choosing to feel discomfort goes against everything our primitive brains are wired for.  So, we don’t choose it, even though it is required to live a fully free life. Ironic right? If we want to be free, we have to do the exact opposite of what our brains want us to do.  We have to choose discomfort, avoid pleasure in the moment, and be willing to face fear. Our world has evolved since primitive time, so what was best for us then, isn’t necessarily best for us now. Friending Anxiety

In primitive times we lived in a constant state of fight or flight.  It was how we evolved.  It’s why we are here today. What if this is true for you now too? Creating Your Fail Plan
Do you have a fail plan? You know a plan of what you will say to yourself if you mess up. Or are you just letting your default brain serve up some thoughts??? If you're letting your default brain serve up thoughts, likely it’s just choosing thoughts to keep you comfortable. Comfortable thoughts aren’t likely going to get you closer to your goal.  Because often they sound something like this: Fuck I did it again.  It was inevitable that I would fail. The only reason this thought is comfortable is because you have said it so many times to yourself. Likely it’s not serving you. You’re going to need a thought like, “I’m a human and I slipped up, and it’s okay I’m learning.” Notice how different the two thoughts feel in your body. Listen in to learn more.
