MSK
Welcome to The FRCR TWO B PODCAST from Radiology Jam.  Our 6th episode is MSK or  Musculoskeletal Imaging! MSK imaging forms the bulk of the FRCR 2b exam, from rapids to long cases and also in the viva, there a some classic cases you just have to know! Learn the common skeletal manifestations of systemic diseases such as sickle cell or hyperparathyroidism, learn the common traumatic injuries to the knee and learn various arthritis that can affect the hand - these often come up! This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks. For the full dedication list please visit our website: Two B - how to? Disclaimer:  At Radiology Jam we offer, among other things, a review of the best available literature necessary to pass the FRCR Two B exam.  This podcast is not a substitute for buying and reading that literature, but is intended to supplement the best resources on the market.  We hope to assist with digestion of the huge volume of information needed to pass the FRCR Two B exam and provide an oral review of the best available resources tailored towards the viva component of the FRCR TWO B exam.  Nothing published by Radiology Jam can or should be taken as medical advice.  While best efforts have been taken to ensure that content is accurate and complete at the time of production, it is not guaranteed by Radiology Jam.  We welcome comments, corrections and suggestions, however no liability is accepted for any loss whatsoever resulting from any inaccuracy.

GU - Genitourinary Imaging
Welcome back to THE FRCR TWO B PODCAST from RADIOLOGY JAM, Episode 5: GU - Genitourinary Imaging!  GU Imaging for the 2b exam is relatively concise - especially compared to the mammoth GI or gastrointestinal imaging chapters. Imaging of the renal tract is a large section of GU Imaging and part of the bread and butter of core radiology training so most candidates find this relatively straightforward.  However for some candidates gynaecological imaging, and pelvic MRI in particular, is intimidating! I highly recommend reviewing some pelvic MRI at your local institution and if this is not something readily accessible then radiopedia.com have some great GU playlists.   This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks. GI
Welcome to The FRCR TWO B PODCAST from Radiology Jam. Our fourth episode is GI or Gastro-Intestinal Imaging! GI is perhaps the most accessible of all 2b cases, after all acute abdominal CTs are what you see day in and day out oncall. There are multiple organs to check, each with a limited number of signs to look out for, but dont be fooled for each sign the differential list can be quite long so be ready with your top three and have the rest of the differentials in your backpocket! It is always worth considering is there a syndrome or association that links this case together? If it seems too simple then this might be what the  examiner is hoping for you to pick up! So at first think simply and methodically - then think outside the box!  This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks. Paediatrics
Welcome back to THE FRCR TWO B PODCAST from RADIOLOGY JAM, Episode 3: Paeds! The most dynamic of 2b cases! There are many Aunt Minnies in paeds so seeing is believing! For those of you that dont know what an “Aunt Minnie” is it is a case with radiological findings so specific and compelling that no other differential diagnosis realistically exists. In other words: If it looks like your Aunt Minnie, then it’s your Aunt Minnie.” This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks. Chest
Welcome to The FRCR TWO B PODCAST from Radiology Jam. Our first episode is Chest!   The key to mastering the chest component of the 2b exam is LISTS LISTS LISTS!  There are several classical radiological signs that often come up in the exam, and in the viva you will feel confident with the differentials lists in your back pocket.  Learning chest radiology feels a bit like walking through a maze, but if you look out for the signposts/radiological signs you will reach the final destination/diagnosis!  This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks. Neuro
Welcome back to The FRCR TWO B PODCAST from Radiology Jam, Episode 2: NEURO!  Neuroradiology often strikes fear into the heart of 2b candidates - especially paediatric MRI Brain! But fear not, the key to success is 1) recognising the sequence 2)describing your findings with the right terminology.   This is more than half the battle -  the examiner does not expect you to give the correct diagnosis with associated chromosomal abnormality, the examiners want a sensible differential - so again learn those LISTS! This podcast is the work of the Radiology Jam Team, but could not have been created without the guidance of trainers at Imperial College Radiology Training Scheme, fantastic online resources and a multitude of dedicated radiology textbooks.
