Because of this need to appear rich, they remain broke. 2. They don't increase their income. The only reason poor people don’t get paid more because the value they provide is limited. Anybody can flip burgers but not everybody can think like a CEO. They don’t focus on improving their skills and value. 3. They have a victim mindset. When I write about money, I get many hate comments. Most of them say “You live in Norway” “You had it better”. But with this digital age, your country is not an excuse. The difference between poor and rich people is the later doesn’t make excuses. 4. They fixate on one solution. People think their promotion or a new business idea will make them rich. Not true. You also need to save and invest. Most people are trying to solve the money puzzle with one piece alone. 5. They have broke friends. When your friends always want you to spend money, it's hard to resist. Because Nobody wants to be called “cheap”. But this peer-pressure makes people waste their hard-earned money. They don’t understand that these friends won’t pay their future bills. 6. They don’t spend on improving. People hesitate when it comes to buying books, courses and coaches. But it’s the worst way to save. Good mentors can help you skip failures and earn more. I have spent thousands on coaches. That’s why I run a six-figure business at age 25. 7. How Overstimulation Is Ruining Your Life… (WARNING)

Chasing Happiness — “When I make this amount of money”, “When I am in a relationship”, then I’ll be happy. Happiness can’t exist in the future but present. If you aren’t happy now, you don’t be happy then. 2. Kill Negative Beliefs — Thinking doesn’t make it true. People thought the earth was far, didn’t make it true. When you think you can’t make money online or get healthy, don’t accept it as truth. 3. Modern News — Read about death, rape, and war. And see how hopeful they make you about your future. The media is always biased towards the negative because the positive doesn’t sell. Don’t fall into their trap. 4. Pleasure Eating — Do you eat for nutrition or pleasure? If it’s the latter, you will always end up overeating junk. Change your perspective on food. It’s about fuel not taste. 5. Garbage Excuses — “I can’t make it because of my parents, my past, or the economy”. You can make it. It’s that your mind doesn’t want you to give up comfort. Override your mind. 6. People Pleasing — Say ‘NO’ to the texts or favours from people you don’t like. Otherwise, you will waste your life for people who don’t care. 7. Quick Results — If you take action and wait for results, they won’t come. Results come to keep taking action. This Is How Much Money a Podcast With 300,000 Downloads Makes
In this episode, I share how much money a podcast can make with 300,000 downloads. But I also want to share the greatest lessons I learned along the way of growing a podcast and hopefully they can be helpful to you on your journey! For context: I’m in the self-improvement and entrepreneurship niche, so that’s how my podcast is positioned. The three main stages I’ll be covering: 1. Optimizing Your Podcast 2. Growing an Audience 3. Monetizing With Offers STAGE 1: PODCAST SEO AND RANKING YOUR PODCAST I assume you have a business or niche you can talk about. But among 1.5 Million Podcasts, how will people find yours? Podcast Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the answers. When a person searches for a topic, a search engine will decide whether your podcast shows up or not. Different podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple) have their own search engines. They are like Google but much simpler. They track two things; Keywords and Reviews. To optimize your podcast for keywords, set-up these three keys: Podcast Name: The name of your Podcast should be specific. Something like “Rafael’s Talk Show” is too generic. Plus, it’s better to add a popular keyword from your industry. For example, “Marketing With Rafael” is more specific and it uses a trending keyword. Be creative. Don’t stress too much on this. You can always change the name later on. Episode Titles: People will rarely find you through your name. Most people search for a specific question when they look for podcasts. You have to write a title that answers their question. Example: “Guided Meditation For Boosting Your Confidence”. It’s a good title for someone who was asking “How to become confident?”. Like the name, be sure to add trending keywords from your topic into the episode title. Description: When someone finds your episode, they will read your description. Before pressing play, they will see if your episode covers what they want to hear. I follow the same rules as Youtube for a description. A short summary that tells people and the search engine what the episode will be about. STAGE 2: GROWING AN AUDIENCE So you hear all these crazy stats about total downloads and might start wondering "how'd you get those numbers, Rafa?" The answer is collaborations and interviews. You need to get into podcasts of people who already have the listeners you want. And it’s actually not that difficult. Like you, everybody has to create content. Bringing in a good guest eases that burden. But, you have to show your credibility in the industry. If you are a marketing agency, then showcase clients served or years in business. Plus, start posting episodes. Even if they get zero-listens. The more you post, the more credible and committed you will appear. When looking for podcasts to get featured on, look for the ones that are within your reach. Someone with 2k-5k followers is more approachable than the 100k one. D) Flip the Script:When you’re trapped in the need of something, your mind is too busy to actually help you get it. He who understands it, earns it … he who doesn't … pays it.”   If you invest $1,000 per month for 25 years in the stock market and earn an annual return of 10 percent, for example, you’d have more than $1 million dollars. Add just another 5 years (to a total of 30) and you’ve reached nearly $2 million dollars.   When we’re so caught up looking for quick fixes, we forget how tangible that reality can be for absolutely anyone who’s willing to delay gratification and stick to a few key principles.

Find a Meaningful Why: It has to pull you towards putting in the effort, instead of hopelessly trying to push and force yourself. 5. Provoke Other Emotions: Motivation is easy if can evoke it through another emotion, ever heard of mothers lifting a car to save their child? 6. Discover the Culprit: Something caused you to lose motivation in the first place, identifying it will help protect you going forward. 7. Become Process Focused: Forget about all end goals and long-term agendas for now, just enjoy the journey by releasing internal pressure.

Successful people follow a ‘winning pattern’ – and this is how it works. 1st – Move Your Lazy Ass The deadly sin here is unlocking your phone and checking notifications or opening a social media app. At that point you can pretty much wave goodbye to your intentions and watch as your day gets hijacked by everyone else. It’s not your fault that our brains are optimised to look for easy & quick solutions, to take the road of least resistance… Help yourself out by using one of the following alternatives: A) Dedicated alarm clock (or a voice assistant type device) B) Phone in a different room (or far from your bed at the very least) C) Smart alarm app that makes you solve some type of puzzle Then exercise. Always exercise. Even if you just do 10 jumping-jacks or push-ups.  It is about the principle of momentum here, and getting the blood flowing right away to jumpstart your day. Even if it’s just a quick walk, move! 2nd – Outsmarting The Ego We’ll want to build you a powerful habit stack, but before we can do that, there’s something important we need to understand. Relying on your willpower to make the right decision day by day is a surefire way to set yourself up for failure. Making the right decision over and over again every single day is nearly impossible. On the other hand, making the right decision just ONE-TIME is doable for anyone. This is exactly how I transformed myself, a previously lethargic, overweight, anxious and depressed janitor to living the life of my wildest dreams and doing what I love every single day. If I had to re-decide how many calories I was going to burn with each workout on a daily basis, I’d probably just skip the whole thing all together. But if you set a minimum for yourself, it could be 10, 30, 50, 100, 250… Whatever works for you to start off with, then it becomes automatic. This can also work with reps of an exercise like push-ups, jumping-jacks, etc. Here’s the two different setups you can be working with for any habit: 1. The Shitty One: “Am I going to meditate today?” 2. The Good One: “How much longer will I meditate today past my 5-minute minimum?” Now you see how much easier it becomes to do the right thing, it’s a result of setting yourself up for it correctly. Remember that just *a few minutes* of planning can save you a lifetime of doing. 3rd – Stacking Success So now all you have to decide on is what your habit stack will be.  This one has stuck with me for almost 7 years now, and it works a treat: 1. Wake-up, get out of bed instantly and exercise (I typically use a rowing machine now, but started with simple sit-ups and push-ups) [Minimum 30 calories] 2. Meditate by focusing on my breath and letting thoughts pass by with no judgement (letting go and allowing myself to become present) [Minimum 10-minutes] 3. Plan my intentions for today and set my goals [Minimum 1 project to be focused on]

Yet your conscious mind can only handle 5 to 7 thoughts per second. The subconscious is, therefore, the more powerful processor, and has to make decisions about what is important for your conscious mind to be aware of on a massive scale every second.  It makes these decisions based on your experiences and memories. These memories guide your subconscious beliefs and values which are the greatest determinants of your behavior.   Today, you'll learn the exact techniques for reprogramming your subconscious, and this truly has the power to transform you, it has made a drastically positive change in mine. There's too much resistance...  So the key here is to get to a point where you're Ok with what is. You don't have to love it, just be at peace with it. It is what is, or "this too shall pass." are both effective and I've used them frequently.   The reason affirmations don't work is because you are trying to force yourself to believe something that you can clearly see isn't true.   And your subconscious mind loves PROOF, not PROMISES.   Then it's all about designing the right thought, for example believing you can make $100,000 US dollars per month is perfectly possible if you have a clear gameplan. Or your ideal partner for a relationship, or your fitness goals.  So you can still affirm what you want, but have a real way of actually achieving it... Otherwise, you'll never believe or buy-in.  -So don't force it over what is, accept what is -Know what you want and how you'll get it  -Now practice affirmations 2.0 - because the old way does NOT work.   Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between a real and a simulated experience... This is exactly why while being asleep you've had dreams where you could've sworn it was real.    Create impressions on your subconscious with visualization  Make your desired outcomes seem fairly easy and straight forward  Give yourself proof in advance, it's your job to muster up the belief if you want the result If you can't do that, it's not important enough to you. Filter what you see correctly, clean your dirty filter!  When the now-infamous American actor and comedian Jim Carrey was still broke and basically a nobody, he wrote himself a check for $10 million dollars and wrote in the memo: "For acting services rendered."  Act as if what you picture in your mind is real, speak as if it's real, feel as if it's real, act as if you are the person you imagine. Not fake it till you make it, BELIEVE THAT IT'S INEVITABLE, which it will be if you stay on it.

Because you probably should be. But about what exactly? See, sometimes in life, we face up against chaos and uncertainty… Sometimes we can’t predict exactly what will happen next, and we start to tense up, build up fear and resistance… We want to escape our uncomfortable reality and go back to something safe and cozy. But the only constant thing is change. Can we accept that? Right now there’s a lot of uncertainty in the world and seemingly everyone is losing their minds, and maybe that is an appropriate reaction… However, it most definitely does not help solve any problems. Of course, it’s important to process your feelings, but... When there is a crisis, people tend to go into fight or flight, and in that situation, they typically cause more problems for others than they solve for themselves. Can you imagine what would happen if all of the energy we all spent worrying and panicking was deliberately invested in problem-solving and looking for solutions to the issue? Of course, it’s easier to hide, escape and numb our fears. We have to fight our very nature because our brains are fundamentally wired to run away from potential threats way before seeking any kind of progress or growth. Imagine you’re out in the wilderness with no tools or equipment and you hear a loud roar coming from some great forest beast… You’re gonna run, way before you consider picking any berries or looking for upside. You can’t control everything! Sometimes bears are hungry and you’re the closest snack, it would be appropriate to focus singlehandedly on surviving the situation.

More Effort isn’t always the answer. Maybe the only way to go further is to take a step back.  I want you to think of ways to improve yourself without the precondition of effort.

No two people are the same.   Take that into account before you follow the trendy self-help advice that you might be different and it might not work for you.  Waking up at 5 AM, skipping breakfast, affirmations — they all might not be for you.   Once you realize that not everything will work for you, what do you do?  You have to break your old conditioning and actions that are not getting you what you want.  Don’t get trapped in one-fix for all thinking.  If there was one fix then why wouldn’t everybody have it and solve their problems?  There is no perfect book, perfect video or a perfect answer of mine that can change things for you.  You have to take different knowledge from different places and experiment.  Maybe it’s a sport for you instead of a work-out routine that makes you fit, maybe it’s a going to college and getting some experience instead of trying to make it as a drop-out.  I don’t know but you will know, once you try.  Break your patterns instead of trying to be a zombie following good-habits.

NUMBER ONE:The biggest enemy of success is never defining what success means TO YOU.  A lot of people will tell you what you should do, and what a successful life looks like… But what they’re telling you about is what success is TO THEM.  The worst thing you could possibly do, is take these ideas on as your own values instead of setting your own goals based on your interests and passions.  Here’s the thing… If you’re not working on your dream, your probably working on somebody else’s. Whether that’s your parents, employer, or even your inner circle of friends.  You have to ask yourself this simple question: WHAT DO YOU TRULY WANT? You can’t score a goal if there is no target… If you don’t know what you want, you can never achieve it…You can never get to a destination if you don’t know where it is… You get the idea.  NUMBER TWO: Being a consumer, and not a producer.  A spectator gets to watch what happens, the director decides what happens. Most people are spectators of their own life, whilst society’s norms and standards dictate the script.  It doesn’t have to be this way… You can actually make your own choices.You could make a choice to produce something of value to others.  From birth we are trained to CONSUME, CONSUME, CONSUME.More food, newer phones, better cars, faster computers.  But guess who makes all the money, and leads the most fulfilling lives? THE PRODUCERS of the world.  There is this incredible feeling that is almost impossible to describe, when you contribute to the world in some way, it leaves you feeling like a HERO.  It could be the smallest of acts to begin with, maybe even volunteering for some project… Anything that pulls you in. Just makes sure you get the positive spiral going.  NUMBER THREE:Who is the biggest enemy? YOU. YOU. YOU. You are your own biggest critic… You are the only one that truly holds back your true potential. Yes other people can have an affect, or impact on your life- and they will, but ultimately you are making your own decisions.  If things don’t turn out the way you wanted, the only person you can really blame is the one in the mirror.  So discontinue the habit of pointing the finger elsewhere, because no matter how hard you point at someone else, it won’t make your situation any better.

Last year I went to The United States to work with a client of mine. This was a client I was working with for 4-years over skype and I also have ownership in his company but we decided to step it up and do in-person coaching. It took a lot of sacrifice from his part to really let me in in his daily life. To observe his moods, his behavior, and everything down to the last micro detail. This created some incredible breakthroughs in his life but there was one insight that really stood out to him and me as his coach. What was it? You get what you put up with. If you are not okay with making less than 6-figures, chances are you will make more than 6-figures. If your relationship has to have a certain quality, depth and understanding, chances are you are gonna meet those standards. If your standards are low chances are your experience will be also. A lot of those big breakthroughs came from lifting those standards and just not being okay with anything that wasn’t up there anymore. Being a demanding person. Asking for too much makes people feel guilty but what’s too much? Money is a concept we human beings happen to agree upon. It’s just numbers So how much money is too much? In a relationship, how much love is too much love? Truth is you can’t ask for too much. Because what is too much? If you are happy and not fulfilled chances are you are on auto-pilot and have these pre-programmed low standards. Write down your new standards and don’t settle for anything less than what you truly deserve.

Social media: Looking at how cool other peoples life is ( it’s an illusion) is going to make you feel bad about yourself. No self-care: If you don’t take the time to eat right or take care of yourself. You are teaching your mind you aren’t worth it. Here is a simple 3 step method. Step 1: Turn off negative-content Now you know what causes low self-esteem so you need to cut it out. Minimize your social media time, don’t spend time around negative people. Don’t consume any negative content. Step 2: Three things method Once you have eliminated the cause, let’s repair the damage. Write down three things that you love about you. It could be how you said thank you to someone helping you. It could be how you are improving yourself by reading this. Anything, small or big that makes you feel good about your self to write it down. Step 3: Mirror method This one is going to be intimidating for some people. Go up to the mirror. Look in one of your eyes. Say I love you, repeat it over and over. It might be cringy at first but once you get into it you will see how better you feel about yourself.

If you have ever met a mentally strong person, then you already know that these people have certain traits of their personality that make them stand out from the rest. Mental strength however is something you can improve, much like your physical strength. So learn these traits and you can go from being a psychological pushover to a mentally strong and leading personality. 1. Mentally strong people have so much confidence in their selves that they don’t care about others’ opinion. It’s important to know that focusing on what other people say about you will consume time and energy that you could spend on yourself more beneficially. Mentally strong people work on their mind. Kind of obvious but we still need to mention it and talk it through. As mentioned above, mental strength can be exercised, just like physical strength. So while body builders push themselves over the limits till their body looks like an ancient Greek statue, mentally strong people work out as well. You want to know the best part? You can work out mentally too, it’s easy, it’s free and it’s definitely more fun than you think. Read books, listen to audio books, go to seminars or webinars, take a course that will stretch your mind. Ideally, you can combine mind and body to live your life in harmony and at its full potential. 5. Finally, mentally strong people stand their ground. They know what they believe in and for what reason and they don’t let anyone push them around with their opposite opinion. If you want to belong in the first group then you have to be calm and polite but also firm and stable. Hold to your beliefs and defend them no matter the pressure. Keep in mind that pressure creates diamonds, not losers!

The way you answered is what keeps you stuck. “I am too messed up in the head, I can’t grow anymore” “I can never get consistent, so I will never be successful” “I am from the wrong background, I will never be rich.” You let these stories wander in your mind without realizing the repercussions. The reason you have been stuck is that you have bought into these stories. Now you might say, “My situation is different, you don’t know”. That just proved my point of how engraved these stories are in your mind. The only way to get unstuck is to recraft these stories. Turn these stories upside down so they work for you. “I know I am messed up, accepting that is the first step to getting better” “If I find what’s blocking me from being consistent, I can be successful” “ I am from the wrong background maybe that’s a good thing as it will fuel my work-ethic” Create your own narrations. Let me tell you, it’s not predisposition. Discipline is learned. Whether you will be disciplined depends on the kind of upbringing you had If you weren’t taught the ways of discipline, don’t worry you can learn it now. Most people won’t be able to develop self-discipline because they will overlook the first step. STEP ONE: Decide Why. Decide on why you need to stop procrastinating. Why do you need self-discipline? If you’re not going after something big, being average and procrastinating will do just fine. Most people QUIT. They quit because they have no real why and so will you unless there is a major reason why need to become self-disciplined and stop procrastinating. If it’s just to please other people you won’t stick with. It has to have great meaning for you. STEP TWO: Daily Habits. What are your goals, what do you want in your life? According to this, what is something that you can do every single day to take you one step closer? Just one step per day will add up massively over time. And guess what? It builds a ton of discipline, very quickly. Because you’re committed to doing this activity on a daily basis, and never let it slide. STEP THREE: Tracking & Reminders. You have to set up the environment to support you – and it could be as simple as putting a tick inside a calendar! If you have a problem with procrastinating by (for example) watching Netflix, the easiest thing you can do is to quit the membership until you’ve started building up some discipline. 30-days is a good rule of thumb for most of us. Then, after you’ve managed to stay consistent for 30 days, you can give yourself back the Netflix as a reward, and now you’ll just be using it for enjoyment rather than procrastinating. If you start putting things off again simply rinse and repeat!

Because we as humans are pretty good at thinking. We have evolved to stay in our comfort zone. We are really good at talking ourselves out of why we shouldn’t do the thing that’s uncomfortable. But guess what all human greatness comes from people going out of their comfort zone. Look at anyone who has done great things in the past. We as a species grow and move forward by going out of our comfort zones. So, how can we fight ‘evolution’ and get out of our comfort zones? Drop it, Ignore it all. All the rationalization, all the excuses that your mind makes when you think about going out of your comfort zone. Realize these are just stories that your mind is telling to keep you where you are and turn these into why you should get out of your comfort zone. Remember, we are really good at thinking. If you can think reasons to not do an uncomfortable thing then You can also think reasons to do uncomfortable things. Here is an example: Some people say it’s risky for me to try this business venture because I have kids. I have a family to support. Flip it on its head and say, I have kids, by going for this business venture I am teaching my kids to follow their heart, teaching them to be brave. I am leading by example instead of telling. Now, that’s powerful right there. When you are finally using this and take that step to get out of your comfort zone, Your old excuses and rationalization might come up but remember they are just thoughts, Let them come up and do what you planned to do anyway.

After all, they only want the best for us. Still, the ‘play it safe’ advice is the most common one and also the worst piece of advice you can get. By the time you’re done reading you’ll know why. First things first. What does it mean to ‘play it safe’? Obviously, no one close to you wants your harm or to see you get in trouble. So, the easiest way to prevent you from experiencing failure is to make you believe that keeping trouble at bay is your best solution. Taking risks is an indispensable part of succeeding in your life. Does that mean that every risk you take is going to be a win for you? No! Of course not. Because failure is also in the game. Still, it’s far better to fail over and over doing something you love than to succeed doing something you hate. Sure, nobody likes defeat. But you’d be surprised to know that getting beat up in life doing something you truly enjoy gives you a sense of fulfilment – not to mention that you’re still making progress – whereas succeeding in areas that are within your ‘safe zone’ will leave you with that same feeling of misery and emptiness that you had in the first place. Besides, what does failing mean after all?  Most people think that failing in any aspect of their lives, for instance a relationship, is a traumatic and haunting experience. In reality it’s the best lesson you can get. Take a minute to think about it and ask yourself. What is better? Reading about something in a book, or experiencing it in real life? The verdict: Don’t lower the level of your life to stay safe and satisfy others. Don’t study to make your parents proud, if it’s not something that will make you proud above all. In other words, don’t try to make others happy at the cost of your own happiness. Keep in mind that life is not forever, so stop living like you’ve got all eternity. Oh, and next time you consider taking advice from someone, take a moment first to put yourself in their shoes and see if you would trade places with them. It means that you are kind of lethargic, self-loathing and you're just laying around being a victim you don't even want to try, you're not even upset or angry, you have just accepted your fate and you're sitting there defeated by life. No wonder you're lazy or unmotivated your whole train of thinking is based around feeling like there's 'nothing' you can really do.   The quickest way to snap yourself out of it is not through 'trying' to be joyful and happy, or even to set goals that you want to accomplish.  Don't try to force yourself to be motivated and passionate. What you need to do is to get angry at life and how you've been living so far. You need to say 'Enough is Enough'. This, personally, is what completely changed my for the better. One night while I was sitting there playing video games, at the time I was a janitor, I thought "that's it, I want to make something of myself, I want to make a difference in the world." Not because I was inspired and happy or that everything was perfect and going my way, but because I got pissed off. I decided enough was enough, "I'm not going to stay where I am anymore, I don't want to keep experiencing this." It just felt like I had no real control of my life. I'm not saying you to revolutionise the way you're thinking or make some kind of magic switch in your mind, you don't have to take a magic pill that's going to make everything feel much better. You simply need to get very angry at yourself, angry at everything around you, angry at where you are in your life and say that "enough is enough" and it's time for you to step up! You have to stop repeating the same old patterns because clearly, they are not making any difference to the way you feel about yourself and the life you are currently living.  The moment that you get really angry something awesome happens, you start to feel this little pull deep inside of yourself, it pulls you to take action, because now you have the energy necessary to make changes.  If you are in constantly in a state of apathy it is over, but the moment you get pissed off at your life you're going to do something about it.  Simply look at the areas of your life that you want to improve, what you want to accomplish and start thinking about at least one thing that you would really like to experience. For me personally, it all started with getting rid of my own social anxiety I just decided that I was not going to feel like I couldn't talk to, or, connect with people. So I just worked on that one skill purely because I felt like I'd had enough of being a shy guy.  Further down the line, you will find that there will be many opportunities to improve your way of thinking, you can decide that you're going to be a high consciousness type of person. You could meditate and work out, and have great habits that would help you to improve. But it has started with you getting pissed off with your current situation!  Countless celebrities account their success to that one day in their life, or even one moment, where they said: "That's it, I don't want to live like this anymore." When you finally get sick of your sickness; that's the day that turns your life around.

I decided I didn’t want to collect a debt to work a job I hate. After that, I struggled. I could barely make enough money to survive. I drove people to their parties or babysit or chop wood. All these gigs just to get by. I also got a job as a Janitor. That was 6 years ago. Now I am a certified life coach and financially secure. What led to this change? I figured out a career path for myself and hope I can do the same for you with this advice. Right now you must be getting tons of career advice from different sources. Maybe people telling you to get a safe respected job like a doctor or engineer. Maybe an online guru asking you to buy his course and make money while you sleep. In all this noise how do you find what's right for you? The most important thing you need to focus on is what are your likes. Is it dance? Is it some sports? Is it art? Whatever gives you some joy that’s what you need to nurture. I am not saying to completely quit everything and dance yourself to being broke. Nope. Start transitioning into it slowly. Maybe upload one dance video a day or open a dance blog. Putting time into that thing daily is important because that’s how you can build an income around that. That’s what happened for me. I started uploading one self-help video every day. I polished my skills and now I get paid for it.

Collecting debt: I am talking about collecting massive debt on your credit cards by maxing them out. Learn basic personal finance. 4. Comfort zone: Waiting for the right time to do something you want. You have been doing that since you were a teen. Snap out of it. If not now then when? 5.Seeking approval: As we grow old we trap ourselves into false responsibilities and making sure everyone approves of what we are doing. It’s a trap. 6. Dead-end job: Not saying all jobs are bad but if you think there is something better for you slowly transition into that. 7. Being stubborn: Trying to make things look a certain way. It sounds insignificant but I experienced a massive transition when I finally let go of this one.

Revolve your self-help content around that one problem and its solutions. It’s okay to have multiple issues but solve one at a time. Have a laser-like focus. If you ignore this simple fact then you will end up like the majority of people in self-help, trying without any results. One problem at a time and your life will quickly start to sort itself out :)

First, realize that what you see in movies isn’t true. That magical fairytale love where everything always works out is not a reality. What’s this constant nurturing? How do we do it? The key to creating perfect relationships is transparency. Full honesty, where there is nothing hide. Why? The pleasure of making a lot of money. The idea of hustle 24/7 and make money online to be happy. Yes, money is great. It gives you freedom and options but the real fulfillment is in how you make money. I am not saying don’t make money. Let the money come in it’s good but fix this detrimental flaw. The problem is with how you make money. I am talking about the idea that there is this one marketing course you have to buy and then only you can make money. There is this online-guru you should listen to and their way is the only way. You can make money doing anything. So why not do what you enjoy? I am talking about doing the work that’s fulfilling to you and get paid for it. Not grind, hustle, be miserable and then get the money at the end. I can’t make money a lot of money writing; of course, you can. I can’t make money by doing art; of course, you can. Whatever it is want to do chances are people are already making money doing it. Why not do more of that? Why grind and hustle doing the wrong thing? Chase the process and money will come on its own.

I started out as a life coach when I was 18 and it wasn’t so great. I had social anxiety, I worked as a janitor just to get by. This is me five years ago struggling to get words out; My life was such a mess, why would anyone pay me to help them? That question made me a prisoner in my own mind, cutting me out from being a successful life coach. Though now I have had almost 9000 hours of coaching and have worked with people all around the world I had to break out of that cage. The biggest hurdle of mine was the belief that; I am too young, why would anyone listen to me? If you are starting out as a life coach you know what I am talking about you have your own version of this. The voice that says; why should people listen to me? who am I to tell them anything? Solve this hurdle and you will be able to figure out the rest of your journey yourself. Most people try to overcome it by faking it. The fake it till you make it approach, talk like an authority, an expert. That’s a trap because it’s fake and your clients can sense that. The way I got started out was; Hey, you know what you should be doing, let me help you do that. Let me hold you accountable for that. This way I was not pretending to be an enlightened human; I was just being honest with a pure desire to help the other person. Allow yourself to be vulnerable because only through cracks, your imperfection, your insecurities, can the light escape. It's not about manipulating them to pay you; It’s about can you solve a problem? Can you pour your heart out and try to help the other person the best you can?

You get what you focus on in life. Look for how or why you can; Lose that weight, start that business, improve your life. Knowing this you have two options; 1. Ignore this and keep on living on autopilot and never get the life you want. 2. Try to implement it, make it a mental habit and get everything you want. To untangle it. We tend to force our way out of procrastination. We try to trick and push ourselves out of this feeling. Without ever questioning where this feeling is coming from. Where does procrastination come from? If you are procrastinating, it’s likely that this is what’s going on in the background. You don’t think you will do the task ‘right’. You don’t think your efforts will get you any results. You have didn’t follow through on something and now you are saying what’s the point of working on this. These background thoughts are the real culprit. Not you being a lazy person. Target them and solve your procrastination. 1. Mental Work What you have to realize is: It’s okay to feel like you can’t do it properly. It’s okay to feel like you won’t achieve anything. It’s okay to feel like you don’t deserve what you want. That’s what you have to tell yourself. And the moment you give these hidden emotions space to breathe, they will lose their grip over you. You won’t feel so tense and find it easier to take action 2. Positive Action After fixing the real cause, treat the symptoms. Take some positive action. It doesn’t even have to be the thing you are procrastinating on. Any action to get the momentum going. It could be washing the dishes or cleaning your room. Soon you will get your flow back and feel good about yourself. Fixing your mindset coupled with action is the only way to beat procrastination.

What you think, you see.  There is a security mechanism in our brains that works to confirm that we’re correct. The interesting part comes when we realize that this works for everything. When we think about positive things, like how great the world is or how amazing life is, we see more proof of it in the real world. But this also works against us. When we think negatively, our minds work to affirm that reality as well. 3. Motion creates emotion. Studies in the area of confidence show that the more space you take up, the more confident you feel. When you sit, do so with your legs open and arms outstretched. When standing, stand up tall and wide. This technique also works on our emotions. Whenever you want to be happy, excited, confident, sexy, loving, or whatever else, think about what a person with those qualities would do. Imagine that person in the same situation: How would they act? What would they say? What would they think? 4. Test your reality. A lot of our daily problems arise from overthinking or ruminating. This makes our problems bigger or smaller than they actually are. There are none. There is no comfortable way to overcome fear. Does that mean you can never overcome your fears? No. The only way to overcome your fears is to move towards them. You didn’t want to hear it, but that’s the truth. Take that scared feeling inside and go through it. It’s supposed to be uncomfortable because it’s supposed to change you. It’s not about getting rid of the feeling beforehand. Most people think like: I need to get rid of my social anxiety; then I will start talking to people I need to get a degree first; then I will start my business I need to be the right person; then I will ask her out. It’s isn’t supposed to be that way. You get rid of the feeling by doing the thing that you are scared of: You get rid of your social anxiety by talking to people. You start that business and then you become independent. You ask her out and then you become the right person. There is no perfect future where you won’t be afraid. The only way to create that future is to move towards the thing you are afraid of. How long are you going to stay small and comfortable?

If you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it’s stupid ~ Albert Einstein We all applaud such quotes and condemn the educational system. A system which educates us to be “good” at everything. Working on your weakness and discarding your strengths is what we are taught in school. Is it really worth it? If Albert Einstein tried to be the life of every party, would he be great at physics? If Alexander the great started focusing on being an empath, would he have conquered half of Asia by 30? Whether or not you agree with these people, they were successful. They were known for their strengths. People who are great at something are rewarded way more than someone who is good at everything. Selective greatness is not what people strive for. I can bet you are currently more focused on your weakness than your strengths. Maybe you are trying to fulfil society’s standards of how you are supposed to be extroverted. Maybe you are trying to put yourself in the box of the adventurer while you really like a simple lifestyle. "Oh, sir" cried the boy "please help me first and scold me afterward." The man represents all of us. All of us who are ready to give advice and opinions to people who are struggling. We tend to look down on them to satisfy our ego. We put them down and say “Look how they are struggling” then smack some smug advice in their face. People who are struggling need your help, not your advice. It’s no wonder that depression and anxiety rates are through the roof.  And why wouldn’t they be? Why would people open up? If all they are going to get is judgment. Let’s just try to understand people who are struggling. Even by just trying and listening to them, you might just give them the support they needed.

Let’s say you have a lemon. You squeeze it hard and get all the juice to yourself. Now you have zero lemons. That’s what poor people do with their assets. They squeeze it all until there is nothing left. And wonder why they don’t have enough lemons. To have more lemons (money), you have to grow more lemons. That’s the first rule of wealth. #1 Multiplying Captial.  People start their business in hopes of making money. But, it takes money to make money. If you start a business with no money; you will end up working in a free or low-paying job. The more you invest in marketing, website, team building, the more you will make. So you need to put money into your business to make something from it. How do you get this money? #2 Raise Money.  The people who complain about not having money to start their business are the ones that aren’t willing to work. There are tremendous opportunities in the market place. There are freelancing sites, you can learn a skill, babysit, drive an uber, get a job. It’s about doing whatever it takes to raise enough money. It’s a lot of work but if you really want it, you have to do 100 interviews this week. Change your input to change your outcome. There is no easy way out. #3 Long-term Wealth.  Some methods multiply capital faster and some slower. If I spend $10k in my business in marketing the return would be around $100k But If I invest $10k in index funds, I would only make an extra of $2k a year. You need both slower and faster method in your arsenal. It’s not about making that quick buck. Remember it’s all about multiplying capital (money) in the long run. #4 Abundance Mindset.  Even if you start multiplying capital, the vibe you have towards money is crucial. Because if you are in a scarcity mindset, the moment you lose money or there is a problem in your business, you will freak out. You will complain and make rash decisions. We don’t want that. As long as you have a business you will have problems. Commit to living a happy life that helps you be proactive. Money making is a game and wealthy people enjoy playing it. #5 Educate Yourself.  Your relationship, mental health, spirituality, health all need work. Same is with money.  You need to read books, invest in courses, improve your skills to get better. You have to work to bring in money. You have to find ways to innovate. The learning never ends. One last thing. Wealth creation is fun when you do it around something you are passionate about. Make a list you enjoy the most. Rate them from 1–10. Whatever it is a 10 for you, you will have a blast making money with it. Doing what you love and building wealth with it is real fulfilment.

And start small if you don’t think you can get the big stuff. What’s one little thing you want? Now, what’s one action step you can take to get there? It doesn’t have to complicated. That is what happened to me. I made one video then another and another and it snowballed into a six-figure business. I was looking for love, couldn’t find it. Did you change? Did your beliefs about you change? Did your outlook on the world and people change? Did you resolve your trapped emotions? No, you only got the outcome. You didn’t get a transformational journey. No matter what car you drive, you will go to sleep with the same issues you had today. What do we learn from this thought experiment? The journey is what you should focus on.  Goals, desires, wants, needs are great. But they don’t mean a thing if they don’t change you. A better life means a better you. You have to change as a person. So, whatever you do today, tomorrow and a day from tomorrow.  Look at who you are becoming. Look at what changes that journey is going to bring in your life. Going to therapy; look at who you will become at the end of your sessions. Working out; look at who will you become if you do it every day. Starting a business; look at who will you become after working on it daily. Focus more on the incremental steps rather than the grandiose goal you are after. Because if you don’t, you are just chasing clouds.

For a second, stop with all the what’s supposed to make you happy. Feeling lost is a “feeling” and we should try to solve it that way. Logic won’t help you because; people who logically have everything right in their life, feel lost too. I want you to observe whatever comes up, as you read along. There is one way to get out of this emotional abyss. Move closer to the things you enjoy. Not what’s logically right. Not a college, a job, or even friends. The things you low-key want to try but are scared they won’t make you happy and you will be sad. That’s what you are afraid of, right? Trying something and the sadness that will come if it didn’t work. You are sad anyway. You might as well try it and take a leap of faith. It could be trying out a new sport or traveling or starting to write, starting a side business, asking someone out, cutting off toxic friends. Whatever you feel like doing, make a list. Do the least scary one first. You will feel a little bit lighter and alive, you will automatically want to try the next one. It’s going to be scary. You will have thoughts ( logic), stopping you from doing this. But stick through. Because you owe that to yourself. Your life will only get better if you take some different action. No amount of thinking will save you. Different action towards your feeble yet authentic desires.

The law of sowing and reaping. When you work for something you want in life, it could be frustrating to not see results. It’s aggravating to exercise every day but not see any change. It’s disturbing to work on your business and not see the numbers grow. We all know patience is key. We all know we can’t get that physique in a week or be financially free in six months. Yet, this delay is defeating. And makes people give up. There is a way to make this delay easy to undergo. The thing about life is; you sow and then you reap. You don’t get to complain or be mad and have that help you get a bigger harvest. It just doesn’t happen. Things will take their time. The only way to deal with this is; have fun along the way. Fall in love with the process of getting what you want. Not what you want. Easy for me to say? It’s easy to do too. If you want to lose fat; It doesn’t have to be 2 hours of lifting weights. It could be playing team sports or swimming. And you will burn the same calories. If you want to be financially independent; you don’t have to get a promotion in your dreadful job. You could start a side-hustle about something you love. The journey doesn’t have to be dreadful. Find a process that’s fun to you. Otherwise, it’s very likely you will quit before even getting close to the results. Look at your life, how many times have you quit things? Just because you thought the process has to be dreadful. Learn to have fun along the way.

We think and fantasise our success and hope that will make those deep-rooted issues go away. But you know if you have ever projected something in the future, If you fail you feel bad; it bleeds. If you succeed, you set a new goal; blinded by your unmet fulfilment. So, both failure and success won’t help you escape this nightmare. What you have to do is patch your wounds yourself. Love yourself as you are, regardless of any outcome. Loving yourself unconditionally is what will get you out of this incessant loop of misery. You are good enough as you are. You don’t need to achieve something or do something.

The regret of “not going for it” is incomparable to the sting you will feel if you fail. When you miss out on the things you desire; You will create a reality that feels like perpetual torment. And It’s very tough to escape. No matter how much you ache, you can never act on it because it isn’t there anymore. You will be left with ashes, remembering the fire that you once adored. So, It’s much easier to just act on your intuition and fail. As soon as you take one step towards what you want; You will feel alive and invincible. And it’s the greatest feeling in the world. Then it’s time to change how you think. When you don’t know what you want, you are thinking with your mind. Your monkey mind is projecting a logical goal and you are denying it. Because it doesn’t feel right to you. And the things that feel right to you, you are too scared to try. So you say; “Meh, I don’t know what I want”. It’s an easy cop-out to not do what you really want. If you want to be happy, listen to your heart. What is your gut feeling telling you? Is it quitting that job and starting your business? or Breaking up a toxic relationship? What makes you feel exhilarated and scared at the same time? What is your soul longing for you to try? As soon as something comes up, your monkey mind will start justifying. “Oh, you can never do that, you are a loser.” “Oh, you don’t know how to start a business, stick to your job.” But don’t let it win, discard this mental chatter. Because there is no other way. There is no magic meditation or affirmation that will make you happy. Going after your wildest and seemingly unreasonable desires is what will make you happy. Just follow your heart for once.

By realising that you have no choice. Nothing less will get you your dreams. Your dream needs the amount of effort they need, daily. They don’t care about how you are feeling or what Jimmy said to you that day. They won’t come true if you don’t take consistent action. You can either be crippled by that or let that change you. You can either take little action and hope for some results OR.... Do whatever it takes without any excuses. That’s the way. Discipline is a mental shift. There is no magic affirmation that will make you more disciplined. You have to realize if you don’t do it right than whatever minimal action you are taking is worth nothing. You might as well not take any action.

Depends on you. Most people are slaves of their own egos and will stay so for the rest of their lives. Your ego is the one that sneaks up and says; “Don’t try this, you aren’t good enough”. “Don’t say that she will never like you”. It’s a dark forest of thoughts that won’t let any light in. There is one way to break free from these thoughts that hold you. Take a leap of faith. It could be any leap of faith. It could be asking out your crush, changing your look, starting a business, traveling. Bold action in direction of your intuition is the only way to destroy this thing that controls you. No amount of thinking will get you out of this. Because it is a powerful force. It’s built up of all the experiences you have had. It’s a force that holds most of humanity from going after their dreams. Whatever your leap of faith is, why don’t you do it today? Stop letting this thing hold you back. It doesn’t deserve to have power over you. You are so much more powerful and greater than that :)

Not a college, a job, or even friends.  The things you low-key want to try but are scared they won’t make you happy and you will be sad.  That’s what you are afraid of, right?  Trying something and the sadness that will come if it didn’t work.  You are sad anyway. You might as well try it and take a leap of faith.  It could be trying out a new sport or traveling or starting to write, starting a side business, asking someone out, cutting off toxic friends.   Whatever you feel like doing, make a list.  Do the least scary one first.   You will feel a little bit lighter and alive, you will automatically want to try the next one.  It’s going to be scary. You will have thoughts ( logic), stopping you from doing this.  But stick through. Because you owe that to yourself.  Your life will only get better if you take some different action. No amount of thinking will save you.  Different action towards your feeble yet authentic desires.

The thoughts you have will ultimately decide what kind of life you have because thoughts lead to action. But why do you think as you do? Most of the thoughts you have a result of impressions made by other people on you. Online influencers, TV, News, whatever you consume affects your thoughts i.e. your life. From your ideal routine to ideal house everything is crafted by outer sources. I want you to stop listening to those outer sources and start listening to your heart. Because you can trick your head but you can never trick your heart. Even if you get the ideal version of success that you had wanted your heart will still be miserable. That is what I realised in my life; The difference between my idea of success and what it should look like VS what I really want. Start listening to your heart. What do you really want to do? Go on a hike? Go on a date? Get a new job? Because if you don’t listen to it that how can you ever be happy?

The biggest waste of time is worrying about the little things that make no difference to your real goal. Whether that’s in spirituality, health, relationship. Worrying about what someone said behind your back. Worrying about whether you worked enough hours today. Worrying about whether to tell this joke or that joke, all these things are a waste of time. Remember, Only 20% of actions creates 80% of the results. It doesn’t matter which joke you tell as long as you are honest and vulnerable, it will create a real connection. It doesn’t matter how many hours you put in, as long as you moved the needle forward and accomplished what you set out to achieve. It doesn’t matter what somebody said behind your back as long as you know that they don’t know you better than you. Always ask yourself, does it even make a difference? If it doesn’t let it go.
