Alumni Spotlight: Chalonda Goodman

Alumni Spotlight: Chalonda Goodman

In this episode Sam Torres has a conversation with Chalonda Goodman. Goodman was an All-American student athlete on the track and field team at The University of Texas at Austin. She competed at the 2012 Olympic trials in the 100 and 200 meters and was a semi-finalists in the 200 meters. In 2019, she was inducted into the Georgia Track and Field Hall of Fame, in recognition of her stellar athletic career.

After graduating with honors from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business with a BBA in Marketing, she began her career at Texas Instruments. In her current role as a Worldwide Digital Marketing Program Manager, she manages the development and execution of worldwide, digital marketing programs.

Chalonda is a firm believer of pursuing all your passions. She is currently serving her community as Ms. Black Texas USA 2021 and training with the goal of representing Team USA at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.
