Red Light Conversations

So many Americans don't know who to vote for. There is an alternative, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Will it happen? Who knows?

This is just the rant of a 60 year old man. I talk about Politics in the US and Canada. The death of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. I talk about things have to change, the cost of living in Canada is sad.

In this episode I talk about things that are in the news and how this 60 year old male white sees it.

We are not in control of our destiny as it relates to the death of the earth as we know it just like we had no control in its creation. Do you think that Greenhouse gases are the only contributing factor to the demise of Earth as we know it?

We can destroy everything above the Earth's crust and the earth will continue long after we are gone.

We are being manipulated to believe that there is something that we can do. There is nothing.

The earth was once a deep ocean of magma that began to cool and form the crust that we live in today. The plate tectonics are ever-changing and the core continues to cool.

Does Hollywood reflect society or does Hollywood predict the future? I just watched "Leave The World Behind" not once, but twice.

The first time I was disappointed in the ending because there was no conclusion. After watching it the for the first time there was a lot of talk on "Tik Tok" and "Facebook" along with other platforms that discussed the subliminal messaging in the movie.

What did I miss? So I watched it again and saw a lot of what they were talking about.

After watching the movie the second time, I then saw a preview to the movie "Civil War" that is due to be released in the spring of 2024 and it sort of ties in with "Leave The World Behind".

What could become of the United States of America.

Christmas has become too commercial. It has become who can out do the other. Christmas should be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate each other.

We lead such busy lives and can't always get together with our families, so use Christmas for a time of coming togehter.

I am aware of the truth, however, without putting a target on my back, I have vetted the points that would do just that. We believe what the media is telling us on so many fronts. We believe that our Politicians would not lie to us. This is just my rant for today. We are not as free as we think. I am a truth seeker and so should you. You are old enough that you don't need to still be spoon-fed.

This episode is the thoughts of a 60-year-old man who comments on things that are in the news or thoughts in his head. In this episode, he condemns violence, murder and war. He questions how North America has treated indigenous people and then turns around and supports a "country" that treats the people of the land the same.

This is my thoughts on the objects flying overhead

In this episode I let loose on the Airlines here in Canada who care little about their passengers only about profits. 

In this episode, we review those who feel a sense of entitlement. We look at the state of air travel in Canada with reference to what is happening in the US. 

People have taken to social media to cry like babies. 

Yes, for the longest time, we weren't allowed to travel, but now that travel is open, everybody and their brother want to go somewhere. They expect service to be like it was in 2019 prior to the pandemic. 

I also blame corporate executives that don't care about their employees, don't care about their passengers, they only care about the return on investment. 

I dare not sell anyone a vacation package, an airline or train ticket. The industry needs to right itself. 

CEO's of these corporations are making millions, they don't care and they never did.

In today's episode, I talk about things that are on my mind. Politics, Sports, Travel and Christmas. You don't have to agree with me. These are just my thoughts. 

The ramblings of an older gentleman. On todays episode, I complain about both Bell and Rogers, the two main providers of cellular service, internet and cable. I talk about opening up and allowing for some fair competition. The Government Officials are filling their pockets with money from lobbyists to keep competition out of the country. We still love you, Alexander Graham Bell!

My comments are my own. I am expressing what I am feeling. The sadness for lives lost, the sadness for those injured, the sadness for homes and infrastructure destroyed. A brave President and First Lady, President Zelensky and his wife who choose to remain in Ukraine. 

The invasion of Ukraine by Putin and his Military with the aid of Belarus is an act against humanity. This is my public service announcement.

This is just the rant of a 58 year old man. My opinions are my own and I respect everyone else's. If you don't like what I say here, then move on, there are more podcasts to listen to. 

I talk about my opinion as it relates to the vaccine, the numbers and the media. I talk about the Ottawa Aces (formerly the Hemel Stags and now the Cornwall RLFC (back in the UK). I respect the players, but not the owners or the league RFL and Super League in the UK. Backwards thinking keeps it Backward game. 

I talk about people wining that Social Media companies are selling their information. The social media companies don't charge you for putting your life on their platform, how else do you think they make their money. You don't want them to use your information, don't share your information.

Vaccine, the numbers are the numbers but when you compare the numbers to the worlds population, the percentages are very small. Are deaths being reported properly and is the media feeding us a bowl of dog food?

In this episode I talk about my frustration with people that come up with every excuse in the book not to get vaccinated and then they wander all over the place without masks. Oh no, the government is going to track me. You really think that you are that important.....Restaurants that call themselves upscale charge an arm and a leg and give you ounces of food, come on, give your head a shake. Oh, and people freak out about how long they have to get into a restaurant and then complain how slow service is. Did you not hear that there is a shortage of people working in the food industry because, 1) they are paid crap wages, they have to split tips, they don't know when the local government will shut restaurants down again. 

There are so many issues that we can talk about. I don't know where to start or where to end. I talk about Residential Schools and the wrongs of those that were in charge before my time. I talk about how wrongs can not be righted, but with open communication maybe we can set the path for a better tomorrow. 

I talk a little about sports, Kudos to the Tampa Bay Lightning and congrats to Montreal Canadians for having such a great playoff run.

Just me letting you know what i have been doing since January 2021 since we have been in lockdown here in the Region of Peel and now a stay at home order put in place by the Premier of Ontario Doug Ford. 

I have struggled with equipment, programs but not with content.  This podcast asks the question what recording software to use. I have used Garageband, Logic Pro X and Audacity. I am comfortable with using Garageband, and was testing out Logic Pro X but then did my last podcast for another platform using Audacity. What do you use.
