So go out there and create the life you want to live. Just think of how much progress you can make in a year - just think where you can be a year from now! But remember, part of the formula to achieving your best life, is YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT YOU DESERVE IT!
Today, I share a quote from the movie "Life As We Know It" starring Katherine Heigel and Josh Dummel - "Having someone help you doesn't mean you fail, it just means that you're not in it alone" - A great reminder that it's ok, to ask for help! Remember, none of us can do it alone!
Today, I talk about how the holiday season really does bring out the best in people! Thats right...take some time to rewind to a time in your life when you were awesome! When you were amazing and had all the confidence in the world. Trust me, there was a time! And if you did it then, you can do it again! All you have to do is BELIEVE!
Today, I talk about the choice we have between being optimistic or pessimistic! I challenge each of us to look at our glass as half full, rather than half empty! How you choose to see things can change the outcome of so many situations. Is your glass half full of opportunity? 0r is your glass half empty with problems? I choose to be OPTIMISTIC ONLY!
Today, my wife Nicole and I talk about the phrase that single handedly changed my life - TRUST THE TIMING OF YOUR LIFE - Remember, although it is super hard not to compare yourself to others accomplishments, achievements and timelines, it is super important to remember that your life is on your schedule! The right things will come at the right times. TRUST ME! Oh, by the way, IT"S OUR ANNIVERSARY!!
Today, I ask and encourage everyone to pay it forward this holiday season by surprising a stranger! That's right...surprise a complete stranger in line at your favorite coffee spot and pick up their tab. You'd be surprised how something so little can brighten their day or week and how this kind of gesture can make you feel as well. DIG THE SEASON to PAY IT FORWARD!
On this Thanksgiving Eve, the biggest travel day of the year, I want to remind everyone to take a deep breath, enjoy the view and enjoy the ride. Whether we hit some bumps in the road, get stuck in a ton of traffic or a flight gets delayed, just remember why you decided to travel in the first place. When you get there, you'll realize the journey was truly worth it!
Today I had the privilege of speaking to students at the Garfield Park Academy - where I shared my story of passion and perseverance. It reminded me of how important it is for each of us to become a positive influence on the youth in our communities - And how becoming a good role model can make a lifelong impact.
With the end of year just a few weeks away - we've also come to the end of another decade. Thats right - another 10 years have passed. As we get ready to head into a new year and new decade, I remind each of us that this is the time to get going, get started and build momentum, so that we are ready to make the next 10 years our best decade yet!
Today on my DIG YOUR DREAM Daily Dose, I talk about “GIVING” With the Thanksgiving Holiday just days away - I ask each of us to take the time to GATHER some things that we no longer use or wear and make our own personal care package for a stranger in need this holiday season! So many of us are so lucky to have more than we need - and I think it would be pretty cool to take some time to GIVE to those who need it more than us!
Today, I share a social media post from my man, Dana Cavalea. The former New York Yankees Strength & Conditioning Coach and best selling author, reminds us to stop making excuses and start making moves. What moves are you going to make as the end of the decade approaches?
Today I talk about the importance of Team Building - using my special weekend with Team Digmi, as we welcomed our newest teammate, Keith McPherson - No one player can win a championship on their own - who's on your team?
Today I talk about a post from @garyvee - where he states that being accountable is very different from “beating yourself up” - I, like I’m sure many of you, tend to beat myself up a lot more than I should. As I continue to understand how important it is to be accountable for your actions, behaviors and failures, I also have come to understand the importance of being my biggest my fan. Let’s discuss on today’s Daily Dose!
I spent today trying my best to paint part of our new house. The problem is, I am absolutely terrible at anything that has to do with being domesticated around the house - fixing things, building things, hanging things, etc. I never took the time to learn because I knew I was so bad at it. So today, I want to challenge you to GET OVER IT and try your best. Find an article on google or watch some videos on YouTube to help you learn a new skill. Don't let your fear of failure hold you back from becoming good at something.
On Digmi Discussion Interview #26, Ray Digmi catches up with MTV alum and Yes Network Contributor, Keith McPherson.
Keith and Ray had the opportunity to sit down and share his story recently at The Gathering Shops at the Garden State Plaza Mall - where we proudly showcased our recent Digmi X McPherson Collaboration collection.
Keith, known as the Mac Of All Trades, talks about his deep passion for the New York Yankees and how the hashtag #ReplaceFor28 led to his most exciting year, both personally and professionally.
Hear Keith talk about how “The Guy In The Tie” helped him get through a difficult time, what it means to become part of the Digmi team and how he plans on growing his personal brand in 2020.
A passionate personality and an incredible talent, Keith McPherson is everything that Digmi is all about and we are beyond proud to have him part of our family as we continue to chase this dream and build our brand.
This short interview is a prelude to the full length interview we will be doing with Keith in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
On today's Daily Dose, I talk about time - and how we have all been guilty of saying things like "I don't have the time" or "I'm running out of time" or the most famous of all..."There's just not enough time in the day". But isn't there enough time in the day if something is important to us? It it's a priority. wouldn't we make the time? Today, I recommend that we all make the time to do something each day that will make you healthier and happier! If you do that, you just might earn a little bit more time here on earth!
Today I use the World Series Champions, the Washington Nationals, as an example of how important it is to stay in the fight. The Nationals were a team that no one expected to go on this incredible run - but they fought their way into the playoffs as a wild card team; and with the odds against them, they showed up to the dance and made some magic happen. It's amazing what can happen if you just get into the dance!
Today, I remind everyone to KEEP IT MOVING! That's right - with all of the moving I've been doing recently, it reminded me how important it is to keep moving along. Sometimes the path that you're on isn't the best way to the finish line. Sometimes you may have to carry pivot, change lanes and make a big move to help reach your destination. Remember, if you keep it moving, you're bound to make progress!
Today, I try to remind everyone out there listening that You're Not Too Old And It's Not To Late to do something that you are passionate about. So go out there and start that hobby, side hustle or dream you always wanted to chase. Remember, you'll never be as young as you are right now! And I give a little shoutout to newly named Chicago Cubs Manager - David Ross
On this Tip Tuesday, I share a tweet with some very wise words from my man Keith McPherson. Keith who recently joined the Digmi family in early 2019, is a MTV alum, YES Network contributor and die-hard New York Yankees fan (sorry Mets fans). He shared a tweet yesterday that I would hit home for all of us!
Today was a super long day...like 6am to 10pm long! I talk about how the difficult days make the good days taste even sweeter. I also talk about committing to consistency and why I decided to record my Daily Dose at almost 11pm!
Today, I pass along a Ray Digmi Recommendation - my latest book, by Marie Forleo, EVERYTHING IS FIGUREOUTABLE. This perspective changing phrase, that she picked up from her mother as a child, will help you look at your daily challenges with more optimism and confidence. This book and phrase has already helped me change the way I view everything that comes my way...And I have a feeling that it will do the same for you!
On todays Daily Dose, my special guest, my baby sister Jennifer Michelle Navarrete and I talk about the importance of having fun with family - especially when the days to do so are so few and far between!
Today, I talk about Los Angeles star pitcher Clayton Kershaw - who held himself accountable for his performance in a devastating Game 5 loss to the Washington Nationals. An example of class and maturity, his post game interview was an example that each of us can learn from.
Today, I talk about the dramatic Game 5 out in Los Angeles between the Dodgers and Washington Nationals - proving that you don't always have to be the best team throughout the season to make a big splash in the postseason. Whether its professional baseball or the business world, sometimes all you have to do is just get into the dance!
Today we talk about the big game 5's in Major League Baseball and what it takes to put yourself in a position to move on - And we talk about a very short, but powerful interview from Tampa Bay Rays slugger Tommy Pham
On this Daily Dose, I share a quote from the hit HBO show "Ballers", talk a little bit about the incredible journey of Minnesota Twins pitcher Ryan Dobnak and try to remind each of us that "A year or two can make a world of difference".

Eddie, a native of Jamaica and Long Island New York resident, was a standout high school football player, who’s original goal was to play in the NFL. Attending Fordham University and taking advantage of a great education, Eddie was able to pivot into a career in finance, joining the corporate world, when a career in the gridiron no longer was an option. It was in the corporate world where Eddie enjoyed professional and financial success, but was leading an unhealthy lifestyle. At nearly 300 lbs, Eddie knew he had to make a drastic change.
During a trip with friends, Eddie watched a UFC fight on t.v., and immediately committed to a new lifestyle of health, training and a career. An incredible example of how the power of mind shift and commitment can lead you to accomplishing things you never thought could be possible. Eddie “Truck” Gordon is exactly what being Digmi is all about. A man who set a goal, committed to it by ignoring the doubters, embracing the possibilities and staying true to himself.

Showcasing Wade's recent jersey trade with fellow NBA stars during his final season, the ad shows 5 last jerseys to trade, with Wade not knowing who he is ultimately trading with. What you then see is the impact Wade has made on 5 people, non of which are fellow players, professional athletes or celebrities. They were regular people who faced tragedy and obstacles. And with the help and support of Wade, these 5 had powerful and emotional stories to share with the All-Star, and a message of love and gratitude.
