It's time for episode number 2 of season 4, though this time it's just Paul and Davide. Dani we thought at one point might be dead, ok well Davide was panicking, I of course was cool as a cucumber. You'll be pleased to know we have since found out that he just forgot that we were recording, so he is alive and well.
The board of directors at this time given him a vote of confidence so he will not be relieved of his duties on the podcast, but they have sent him a letter to inform him that we require all members of the team to be reliable. Also Davide would be very upset if Dani was to leave and would likely cry for weeks. Now for the podcast content!

It's been a while since our last 'traditional' podcast release, having taken a bit of a break whilst we concentrated on SRO E-Sport GT Series specific content - and during our absence, quite a lot of stuff has been happening in our favourite virtual motorsport hobby.

Bonus: Codemasters buy Slightly Mad Studios
In a special edition release, the two Pauls of RaceDepartment analyse the recent purchase of Slightly Mad Studios by British developers Codemasters.
Providing one of the most surprising announcements of the sim racing world in 2019, a few short days ago it was announced that Codemasters, developers of the acclaimed F1 series of games, have purchased Slightly Mad Studios (PCARS franchise) for a reported $30m - sparking plenty of interest from racing game fans who wonder what this might mean for the future of both development studios and their products.
