Mini Ep. 4: "EJECTO SEATO, CUZ!"
Somehow Rocky does a whole 40+ minute "mini" about the Fast Saga/franchise. He watched F9 on opening night (or is it still considered preview night?) and decided to give his thoughts on the 20 years of Fast & Furious flicks and rank them (for the hell of it).

Mini Ep. 3: "Existence Is Chaos"
This week's mini is a bit more of a mixed bag when I share a few thoughts/updates on a variety of subjects - starting off by giving a few more thoughts on how utterly terrible and broken the FL unemployment assistance system is, a bit of personal promotion for Patreon, some heavier politically-oriented thoughts based mostly around Juneteenth, and it gets wrapped up with some quick thoughts on the first two episodes of Loki that have aired.
Feel free to share your thoughts on any or all of these with us on twitter (@reallythoughpod)

Mini Ep. 2: "Sh!t Just Got Real"
In this mini episode, I get right down to the [not-so-great] news of the day: being laid off from work. It definitely sucks and I'm still trying to rationalize it all, but that's a thing that happened and I felt the need to talk about it really quick and share with the podcast subscribers.
Until next time.

Mini Ep. 1: Starting off with something light...some light complaining ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So, I didn't really want to jump into the big deep subject matter on the first mini-sode and since none of this is too planned out or pre-written (which you can definitely tell), I figured I would start with something on the lighter side of things that I had experienced on the day I recorded this - those damned car caravans blocking up traffic in order to celebrate ____________.
Don't worry though, these won't all be just one-sided conversations of me complaining about arbitrary subjects - and I plan on keeping them to a length of about 10-15 minutes, on average.
Next one is already recorded and will be posted soon.
A Long-Awaited Update - Better Late Than Never...?
Hey hey! How the heck are ya?? Good, I hope.
It's been a while and we aren't back juuuust yet but we do have a small update for everyone just to let y'all know what's been going on and how we're looking to proceed with the podcast.
Keep an eye on the feed for more frequent posts - large or small.
See ya soon. ✌︎('ω')✌︎
202: The Last of the Pre-'Rona Recordings
Well lookee what we have here...
Somehow we neglected to post the last pre-COVID 19 recording - what horrible screw-ups we are (well...at least one of us).
No additional summary here, just enjoy the sounds of some jackasses hanging out before our lives were fairly upended by all the craziness going on in the world.
Enjoy and stay safe and WASH YOUR HANDS!
198: Absorb Your Chi, Man
Random topics discussed on this episode (in no particular order):
- Late-night tv
- What we watched as kids
- Garbage reality shows
- The Real World
- The Amazing Jonathan documentary
- Answer the Internet questions
- Rocky's take on religion
- Rick's Fleshlight
- All of the Pornhub categories
Enjoy.
197: Music Music Music
We kick off this week's podcast as we do many others, just kind of meandering around subjects - in this case, it's talking about movies.
After a bit, we hone in on a more centralized discussion point - that being reviewing the recently announced Oscar nominees and giving our thoughts on those films we watched in 2019...both the highs and lows.
Enjoy.
196: First Recording of the New Year
In which our heroes go into an unnecessary long discussion about fireworks and the legality of said fireworks in our local Miami. Rocky also reveals the ridiculous t-shirt he designed for/about Rick (follow the link: 'Ricky, Though‽') and tries to convince Rick to buy one. We also chat about things to do with the ridiculous designs Rocky makes of the boys (see the 'Chrisace' or 'Sleepy Chris'), which then takes a turn into random Chinese products that Rick and his friends would order in years past.
Lastly, we finally get around to breaking down both Episode IX (The Rise of Skywalker) and The Mandalorian.
Enjoy.
193: MACLUNKEY!
Because we're extremely topical, the frontend of this week's podcast discusses Chris' mortality and how it may relate to the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich - additionally, we talk about how foolish some people act for a goddamn sandwich.
We then once again dip our toe in the realm of sneakers and [naturally] segue into discussing Kanye's latest: Jesus Is King - which takes us down a path where Rick shares how/why he disconnects from various forms of religion-centric music before circling back to some of the Kanye discography.
Lastly, as Star Wars become more and more prevalent in popular culture, leading towards Rise of Skywalker, we take another moment to chat about it and evaluate where we each stand on the overall Star Wars saga as of this time.
Enjoy.
192: Whole Lotta Disney Going On
It's a Disney-filled episode! As we're still pulling from recordings made just a little while back, we get into a bunch of Disney+ stuff (it was about to launch when this was being recorded), which naturally segues into just overall Disney convo - specifically, historical stuff related to the theme parks. If you're a Disney-head like some of us are, this one is for you.
Enjoy the show!
191: A Joker spoiler-free "review" & a lot more music talk.
Are we slowly just turning into a mainly music-based podcast?? Either that or we're just on a music-centered hot streak. 🤷🏻♂️
Anyhoo...we sorta, kinda tackle a spoilerless review/opinion of JOKER and then are presented with a hypothetical situation - choose one: from now on, you can only listen to music that was either released before your date of birth or you choose to listen to only music released after your DOB.
See, more music talk...oh well.
Enjoy.
190: Just Riffin'
Apparently we can't stop talking about all things music - and I'm totally ok with it. You?
We also get into some news tidbits about the current pop culture landscape (oooooh!)
Enjoy.
189: It's Nü-Metal's Turn
What started off as a one-off segment about 90s rock bands evolved into a 3-episode arc - this time we (naturally) focus on the "Nü-Metal" bands of our youth (aka "The Aughts") to decide who is the fit to be crowned "The Best."
Check it out and enjoy.
188: Best of the 90's: Hip-Hop Edition
As mentioned on the previous podcast, here we present our tournament to determine which 90s hip-hop act is the greatest by process of elimination. Join us, won't you?
We welcome you to share your opinions with us on our individual takes and/or the overall winner - hit us up @reallythoughpod on Twitter and let us know what's up.
ENJOY.
186: The Best of the 90s Rock Bands
What was initially meant to be a fun debate / tournament to find out which 90s rock band was the best of the best turned into an hour long preude to that discussing as we tried to first pick which eight bands would make up our competitors.
It's a process, you know.
ENJOY...and the next episode should drop real soon.
(We're still working off of our backlog of episodes)
185: Poor Unfortunate Spidey + Ridiculous Death Battle Debates
In which we discuss the poor fate of the Spider-Man/MCU relationship and where that leaves our friendly neighborhood Spidey (😥). We then spiral down into a serious Death Battle-style debate to decide who would win in a fight: Darkseid or Thanos - a tale as old as time.
Enjoy.
184: Strange Ice Cream Flavors & Hispanic Home Security
(FYI: still working through a few slightly older recordings)
On this edition of the podcast, we're a little all over the place with it...what's new, right? From Latin radio stations invading Best Buy for special in-store events to discussing terrible niche ice cream flavors, then making the not-so-smooth segue to the "Cuban Security System" that is a 2 x 4 being placed behind the sliding glass door in order to brace it (you've got to see it to believe it). Rick finds a way to do some expert trolling all whilst complaining about his back hurting.
Enjoy,
183: Dissecting Hobbs & Shaw...Why? Who Knows.
(FYI: This was recorded a few weeks back)
For starters, we spend and inordinate amount of time dissecting several aspects of Hobbs and Shaw (which was recently released at the time of the recording).
Spoiler Warning: we get into a discussion about Amazon's The Boys and compare a lot of elements from the series to the original comic book.
Lastly, in a little informal crossover with Rocky's new podcast (A Very Informal Podcast), the boys go through their rankings of the top Tarantino flicks.
Enjoy.
182: SDCC 2019 Breakdown
As has almost become tradition on this podcast, after San Diego ComiCon hits the world of entertainment on various fronts with the force of 100 suns, we pick out the notable news tidbits with regard to movies, television and merchandise, and go over what was announced/released and give our thoughts on how excited we are for these things.
Enjoy.
181: Scandalous!
DISCLAIMER: We're a little behind on posting podcast episodes, so prepare for a tiny deluge of content. You've been warned.
In this edition of the podcast, we kick things off following up the discussion of the previous episode and go over Chris' impression of Spider-Man: Far From Home and can discuss and break down the flick and it's repercussions more in-depth.
Rick then tells a harrowing tale of a dude on the side of the road POSSIBLY masturbating - which leads us to discuss strange happenings we've witnessed on the mean Miami streets (and adjacent counties) - it gets a little weird. And lastly, we veer off into a topic we rarely speak about even off-mic: the fanciful world of strip clubs.
Have a listen and ENJOY!
BONUS: A Very Informal Podcast | 'PILOT'
Well what do we have here??
Looks like Rocky and previous RT guest Nardo are making inroads into starting their own podcast - the aptly titled 'A Very Informal Podcast.'
We figured that while they're getting all their ducks in a row with distribution on the various platforms, we'd show them some love and post the "pilot"/test episode on our feed.
Stay tuned for more info on when it's available everywhere by following their Twitter at @veryinformalpod.
180: As Spoiler-Free as We Can Be About Spider-Man
Big comic book-movie talk in this week's edition of the podcast - and while we manage to keep it spoiler-free for Far From Home, we get into it pretty heavy for Dark Phoenix. Additionally, we take it back a bit and go over how good/bad the Blade movies were. We also go over the speculation as to what is in store for Marvel at this year's SDCC and D23 conventions/expos.
Kick back, have a listen and enjoy.
179: This One Comes to a Screeching Halt
...
178: Unexpected Arcade Cabinet Talk
LOTS of discussions about arcade cabinets and which we've always wanted to own and which were our favorites from youth.
Enjoy,
177: "I'm Watching You!"
Special (unofficial) guest: Nicole
After much teasing (mostly in post-show talks), we finally get to hear Rick's story of doing mushrooms way back in the day. Keeping within this realm of discussion, Rick then gives us a crash course into the world of i-Dosing via another wonderful misadventure of his. Naturally, the conversation then becomes about dreams and which members of our motley crew can lucid dream. Lastly, Rick and Rocky remind Nicole that they have a healthy respect for things like the Ouija board before Chris tells Nicole of his taunting of the supernatural in his younger days.
Have a listen and enjoy.
176: Bad Movies We Love
On this week's episode of the podcast, we dive fairly deep into a bunch of the movies that we love but acknowledge are nowhere near the best; some of us seem to be more in denial about certain movies, than others...*cough The Phantom cough*.
Rocky then takes a moment to give his quick review of Tyler, The Creator's newest album, "IGOR" - he also challenges Chris and Rick to check it out and give their thoughts on an upcoming episode (if they actually listen, of course).
Have a listen and enjoy.
Give us a shout over on Facebook and/or Twitter and join the conversation.
175: A Touchy Subject...??
What starts off as a light-hearted conversation about weird names we grew up with for (possibly) strange foods that we (read: Rick) thought was a real commonplace thing. We then take a HARD turn into the non-joking subject of the abortion bans that have been all over the news - and we get to hear Rocky go off on not only the subject but Chris' non-take on this "controversial" subject.
The pod is then beset by a couple of outside issues as Rocky has to step away a few times to be updated on Nicole's travel woes on that day, as she was meant to be back in Miami on the night we were recording. We then start going into a weird tangent about flying and the benefits and rewards associated with it.
Aaaand we somehow manage to circle all the way back to more conspiracy-theory subject matter (is that what are pod is now??),
Lastly (as if we don't meander enough in these recordings), we manage to start talking haircuts and Chris' recent incident with a not-so-great barber.
Check it out and enjoy!
174: We Made It To The End(game) //SPOILER WARNING//
Let's not bury the lead - we go pretty deep into the details of Avengers: Endgame, so be warned, we aren't really holding back. If you haven't watched the movie, we'll see you back here for the next podcast (we're sorry, but there was A LOT to get into and we couldn't beat around the bush with it).
How did you feel about Endgame? Let us know by either posting on our Facebook (@reallythoughpod) or Twitter (@reallythoughpod) profiles.
Enjoy...and we love you 3000!
P.S.
If you enjoy our silly antics, feel free to leave us a comment and review (*cough 5 stars cough*) on whichever platform you listen to us on.
173: Unofficially Brought to you by the Mac n' CHEETOS!
In the meandering world of this podcast, we really push that notion to it's limit this week with the range of ridiculous topics we manage to go through - from "do you have a favorite type of mozzarella stick?" to "how many types of FRIED calamari are there" to the great stone crab debate - come to think of it, we really deep-dive into various foods this week. We take a hard left into yet another traffic-centric/road rage-ish discussion (how Miami of us, right?). Lastly, we come full-circle and get back to talking about food - this time it's cereals!
Love all the audio-nonsense this podcast brings you? Well, the best thing to do is share this "excellence" with a friend...oh, and don't forget to go on whatever platform you listen to us on and leave us a rating and review (if the platform has that sort of thing available, of course).
Enjoy.
172: We Got Sponsors! 😅
Ads abound on this episode - both official and unofficial.
This episode of the pod kicks off with a quick convo about Shazam! and whether or not Rocky is a hard-ass on super hero movies, in general.
Additionally, as we recorded this prior to Avengers: Endgame being released, we get into some speculation about what some plot points of the movie can be gleaned from the Endgame trailers and toys and whatnot that were out at the time of the recording.
The recording then [once again] starts talking (mostly) about comic book movies, which takes a weird tangent into the realm of 80s and 90s action movies.
Have a listen and enjoy.
170: Certified: Edgelord
It's a pretty internet-heavy set of topics this week.
What starts as a discussion of some of the random news tidbits of the week, quickly goes down the rabbit hole of the worst/darker parts of the Internet. Somehow that then diverges into a ridiculous conversation about The Chive and what the point of websites like that are/what kind of communities gather around places like The Chive and Barstool.
Eventually we get back on track and get to something Rick definitely wanted to talk about (which Rocky promptly shat on) - Google announcing their new gaming platform: the Google Stadia.
Check it out and [as always] enjoy.
"I Don't Know How to Respond to That"
In which we kick it off in a big way by not exactly discussing the Leaving Neverland documentary series on HBO but by tackling the subject of how these new revelations/allegations impact our enjoyment of or choice to listen to any of Michael Jackson's music. Additionally, Rick and Chris (who have seen at least some of the doc.) fill Rocky in on the finer points presented in the documentary, in order to add context to why this topic has been so polarizing across the board.
We then take a very hard left and give our thoughts on the latest Marvel Films release: Captain Marvel - which we (shockingly) all saw prior to this podcast. *Insert SPOILER WARNING here* as we get into specific plot details on the flick. From there we naturally segue into positing theories for Avengers: Endgame. Lastly, we (once again) debate how easily this information makes it's way to the eyes of the masses.
Check it out and enjoy.
Fuck a Factime! (...at least in public)
We got a very good Rick Rant (patent pending) going on this week's podcast...and it's all about Facetime.
Other than that goodness, we just take a look at some good old pop culture news and somehow circle back to Oscar-centric talk and why people care whether a film is distributed traditionally or via streaming platforms.
Enjoy.
Oscars & News Tidbits
The Academy Awards recently happened and since this is our first pod since then, we get fairly knee-deep in the subject and segue into talking about how/why Green Book is deemed problematic. After that we hit some entertainment news tidbits.
Enjoy.
166: Catching Up After Several Weeks Away
The title says it all, really - it's been quite a few weeks since the last episode posted but here we are with tales during the break. We then get into V-Day talk for a short bit and talk about a bit of the often-neglected (at least on this podcast) world of video games.
Enjoy.
Don't Take Your Shoes Off at Other People's Houses
Who does that?!?
Welp...in true RT fashion, not only does this come up in our conversation, but we manage to spend more time talking about it than almost anything else this week.
🙃
Surviving 'Surviving R Kelly'...with special guest: Nicole!
In which we get into our reactions to "Surviving R Kelly," then segue into separating the art from the artist and go on to wonder what artists like Aaliyah, Biggie and 'Pac's career would be like if they were still around today.
Good stuff (if I do say so myself).
Enjoy.
I 2 I
New year, new RT?? Nahhh - just more of what you've come to expect from our wonderful gaggle of dolts (movies, music, comics, and news items).
Have a listen and enjoy.
The Hot Boyz! (We on Fiyaaa)
An homage to First We Feast's 🔥🔥 HOT ONES 🔥🔥
The Worst of the Internet in 2018
Post Black Friday Pick-Ups/Shenanigans
Check it out and enjoy.

Hope you enjoy this week's podcast. 😅
Anatomy of a Best Picture Nominee
Enjoy.
Talking New Hip-Hop/the "Lils," WWE2K19, and Nerdy News
Enjoy.
Rick...Always The Contrarian
That AND MORE! ...on this week's edition of the podcast.
Enjoy.
Tackling The Real Issues
Kvething About Traffic, Movies, & Moviepass
RT: The De-Specialized Edition
Anyhoo...this go-around, we get into more of the fun nonsense that you've learned to love from our heroes - some talk of trailers, Star Wars, overly expensive board games, etc.
Enjoy.
