Halloween Countdown Episode 6: Bringing you Real Canadian Stories. The Real  Scary Podcast season 2 Countdown to Halloween! This episode explores the Bellevue Mine in Alberta, This mine has been in operation since early 1900s and has seen, like many other mines, casualties in it's depths. I speak to three of the mine's interpreters about their experiences both personally and through their tours. Next I talk to Author Jo-Anne Christensen, about her Ghost Stories books! She has many titles under her belt such as Ghost Stories of Saskatchewan, Ghost Stories of British Columbia, Ghost stories of Illinois and Many More. She tells us about what got her into this as well as some of the stories that have stood out to her over the years.

Halloween Countdown Episode 2: Bringing you Real Canadian Stories. The Real Scary Podcast season 2 Countdown to Halloween! This episode is all  about some 'vintage' hauntings. The first is the 'Mary Ellen Fire Spook' out of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. A strange case of spontaneous fires that plagued a small family farm one year, leaving the land forever cursed (at least that's what the locals believe.) The next story is of a small and unassuming grove of bushes off a road in Prince Edward Island, where a horrific crime was committed in 1859. The sounds of this crime can still be heard today.

Next I talk about the Grey Nuns motherhouse that now serves as a student residence for Concordia college. There are so many experiences here and the best part is that you can visit the village during the day as well as during the night on a haunted walk through the town. Season two is back on April 7th! Join me as I share all new Canadian content. The stories this season range from historical government run sites, to pubs and historical inns. Learn of the Haunted histories of each and what makes them some of the most haunted places in Canada. My goal this season was to bring you as many eye witness accounts and interviews with real people as possible. April 7th will mark the beginning of the new season, with each new episode coming out every other Tuesday! I can't wait to share these new episodes with you!
