SAM BAKHTIAR: Our Tribute To A True Legend

SAM BAKHTIAR: Our Tribute To A True Legend

Many months ago, we had the privilege of having Sam Bakhtiar on the podcast to record an episode. We knew how successful Sam was, but we knew little of how humble, caring, kind, and passionate he would turn out to be from the instant we sat down with him.

Sam has an incredible story of immigrating to the United States from Iran when he was young, and has made a name and a career for himself in the fitness industry. He gave us valuable insights into entrepreneurship and what it takes to be successful, but most importantly, he was grateful for us inviting him on to talk and share his wisdom.

We are deeply saddened to learn that Sam passed away unexpectedly on December 23rd, 2020. Our interview with Sam was archived in our files and never released, as the podcast has taken a bit of a back seat for us as we focus on other ventures.

Once we heard the news, we knew we had to release this episode right away in memory of Sam.

In the age of social media, it can be hard at times to come across someone as successful as Sam that's still a genuine, caring, compassionate person. Sam was all of those things and more, and we are grateful to have crossed paths with him and learn alongside his mentorship.

RIP Sam Bakhtiar

LARRY FLOWERS: The Power of Networking & Fun NHL Stories

LARRY FLOWERS: The Power of Networking & Fun NHL Stories

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Larry Flowers, an LA based jeweler and entrepreneur. Since getting started, he has become the go to guy for a lot of NHL players for watches and engagement rings. His network of connections is incredible, but his character and selflessness is the most impressive aspect of his story.   He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Networking is KEY! When Larry arrived in LA, he worked as a bartender for a period of time. With all of the interactions he made with people on a consistent basis, it did not take long for him to become friendly with a lot of LA people. Not to mention, someone he knew had a connection to the NHL and this is how he started meeting pro hockey players. This blossomed into him becoming widely known as the go to guy for jewelry around the league.
  2. If an opportunity presents itself, take it! Larry’s friend introduced him to the idea of going into the jewelry business, and his decision to go for it would change his life. Rather than be frozen by inaction or indecision, Larry gave the venture a shot and it has paid off in a big way.  He has found a passion for jewelry, and his business has been booming!
  3. Honest business is the best form of marketing. Larry’s name has spread due to word of mouth and referrals as the people he works with are impressed by him as a person and by his products. He told us on the episode that he gives people honest prices for his items even if they have no idea what the piece could be worth, and he always tries to make a real connection with his customers. Many of his customers are making a purchase for a special occasion in their life, and Larry strives to make it as smooth as possible.

TYLER BOSSETTI: Steps To Building Good Credit

TYLER BOSSETTI: Steps To Building Good Credit

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Tyler Bossetti, an entrepreneur focused in credit and real estate. Tyler helps clients obtain funding for 0% and repair their scores for their businesses. He also crushes it as a real estate investor, and even lets people invest in properties with him to see a terrific return.  He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Risky investments are fine, as long as you trickle the profits into safe investments. Tyler is big into crypto investing at the moment, and he doesn’t advise against a volatile, uncertain trade as long as you have an exit strategy with it. Make your massive return, and then turn it over into a safe investment with stocks or real estate.
  2. No credit is worse than bad credit. Many people are scared to start building credit due to fears of the unknown. Not knowing how credit works translates to a fear of ruining your credit score, leading you to taking no action at all. But, it really is not as complicated as people make it seem. Get a credit card, make regular payments on the balance you accrue filling up your gas tank or going out to eat, and see your score get stronger as time passes.
  3. Make sure your initial credit card is from a trustworthy, major bank. Building a great credit relationship with a reputable and well known bank will benefit you in the long run, as the benefits these cards will offer are far superior what other banks can offer with their cards. As your business scales, you can even obtain business credit that will have really lucrative rewards as you rack up major points with your business expenses.

DAVID RIGGS: Grades Do Not Matter

DAVID RIGGS: Grades Do Not Matter

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with David Riggs, a college senior at Wabash College in Indiana. He is one of the first guests on the show to take advantage of entrepreneurship in college, something Andre & Christian emphasize on the show often. He is the founder of Pneuma Media, an agency specializing in helping small businesses improve their marketing efforts. He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Do 3 actionable things every day. Measure your daily progress by having three things you can do daily that will build confidence and help you pick up steam in business and life. For example, set a goal to spend an hour in the gym, do cold outreach to 10 people, and engage with 30 people on LinkedIn. Measuring actions rather than results is huge for anyone with a busy schedule.
  2. Grades don’t matter. As much as it may seem emphasized in college, they mean nothing in the real world. A 4.0 student could have excelled in the classroom, but does not have the interpersonal skills or the abilities in the workplace that a 3.3 student had. If you are the company, the choice as to who to hire is pretty self explanatory. Focus on developing real world abilities in college, and don’t put too much stock into your GPA.
  3. Opportunities don’t fall in your lap as a student. Taking it upon yourself to seek knowledge outside of the classroom and find your own opportunities will set you up for success post graduation. Attend career fairs, start your own side hustle, network with professionals and entrepreneurs, and you will have a great head start towards a fantastic career.

JORDAN GROSS: Journey To Your Cloud Nine Life

JORDAN GROSS: Journey To Your Cloud Nine Life

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Jordan Gross, the executive coach at Cloud Nine Living, best selling author, and a TedX speaker. Jordan’s work ethic and determination to connect with and impact as many people as possible is incredible, and his daily routine of outreach and organic social media growth is mind boggling. Jordan is extremely well versed in mindset and personal growth, and the conversation we had with him was both very unique and extremely impactful. He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Reverse engineer your fans. Garnering a following organically is certainly the optimal way to create an audience, but doing the outreach yourself is often times more efficient. Putting in the leg work to send messages, do interviews, and stay active on social media will allow you to connect with people that will often times turn into fans of your content and message.
  2. Make your own morning routine. Having a morning routine can be key in being effective throughout the day, but following one that you find online won’t necessarily be beneficial to you. By crafting your own unique routine that will get you out of bed and excited to start your day, you will be willing to stick to it day in and day out and get your day started on a positive note.
  3. Do everything for a bigger purpose. Realizing that your work can leave an impact on a significant amount of people will keep you honest in your work, keep you motivated, and help you to foster meaningful relationships that are based on much more than just business and money. Money is a great motivator, but finding fulfillment in helping others and leaving an impact is what will give all of your work true meaning.

JOHN DANES: The Keys To Being a Successful Entrepreneur At a Young Age

JOHN DANES: The Keys To Being a Successful Entrepreneur At a Young Age

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with John Danes, a serial entrepreneur based out of Nashville, Tennessee. His digital marketing agency, 99Media, helps entrepreneurs establish their digital footprint. He also hosts a top 100 business podcast, The No Excuses Show. His aim in life is to help others get results and meet their potential.   He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. READ MORE. Whether you care to admit it or not, you are not a master of your craft. There are people out there with more experience and success than you, and one or two of them just might have a book published. Set aside a block of time every single day to just sit down and ABSORB all of the knowledge they are generous enough to share with you, and become better from it. Find a way to fall in love with the process of reading and learning.
  2. Take yourself serious. How can you expect any prospective client to take you seriously and sign on when you don’t even have the confidence in yourself? No matter how old you are, trust your expertise and preparation that have lead you to this point. The only way to go all in and invest in yourself and your career is to have the conviction that you’ll find success, and what you think about the most is what your future will hold.
  3. Do not be afraid to seek MENTORSHIP. We may stress this topic a lot on this show, but for good reason. The quickest way to find success and beat the learning curve is to find someone who has what you want and WORK for them, even if it is for FREE. The ROI of working for free for a period of time will be massive in the long run, as you will come away from that experience primed to go off on your own and find massive success.

EDDIE THOMASON: What Does It Take To Be a True Leader?

EDDIE THOMASON: What Does It Take To Be a True Leader?

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Eddie Thomason, a speaker, networker, and personal growth expert that is local to Binghamton. Eddie graduated from Bryant University where he played collegiate football, and now works in sales. He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. In-person networking should be as natural as possible. When approaching someone to introduce yourself, a great method to break the ice is to ask a question about what they’re wearing. “Hey man, where did you get those wing tips?” They’re likely to instantly be engaged, and the conversation can be organic from there. Try to stay away from scripting how you want to introduce yourself to someone, as this will more than likely lead to an awkward conversation and lessen the chances that you make a valuable connection. If you need, go to a networking event with a friend and see who can make more connections in a given time frame.
  2. Reading self-education books is critical, especially if you are in college. No matter your current situation, immersing yourself in entrepreneurial and personal growth books will be huge to your development both as a person and as a business person or entrepreneur. Eddie wished that he did as much consistent reading in college as he does today as a professional due to how much it has done for his career and mindset.
  3. Sales is a tremendous skill to develop early on, and it pays very well. Eddie got a job selling food at Ravens and Orioles games, and found himself become better at in person interactions while making a decent commission while still in high school. The skills he developed in that time still apply today, and he took a ton of value out of that experience. After he spent a few weeks working retail, he quickly found that the job could not compare to his sales position at the ball park. For anyone in high school or college, strongly consider picking up a part time sales position.

JONATHAN GREEN: Live On a Tropical Island For Cheap

JONATHAN GREEN: Live On a Tropical Island For Cheap

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Jonathan Green, founder of the coaching platform and community, Serve No Master. After being fired from his dream job at 29 years old, Jonathan decided to start his own business full time. Within 6 months, he was making more money than at his dream job, and was raking in more money than his former boss 2 years in. With Serve No Master, he helps people create new online revenue streams in preparation for the day that they are fired from their job. He dropped a ton of knowledge, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Nobody cares about you as much as you think they do. As bleak as it may sound, there is no one in the real world that will set aside the time in their day to assist you in finding a job. Colleges promise a job placement after graduation, but often times do little to help you when you come asking for help. While this is against everything you thought in high school and college, it truly is up to you to make stuff happen for yourself, and you will just have to come to terms with that reality whether you like it or not.
  2. It often times is easier to sell someone with stories and emotions rather than with all of the in depth technical stuff. There is no need to act like a master of SEO or marketing and go in depth on the details of it all; you will probably just bore the client to death. Instead, give them a simple comparison that plays on their emotions, such as describing SEO as having a lot of friends to fit in with the popular crowd on the internet.
  3. The ultimate freedom in life is being masterless, or having no boss to report to. Being able to create your own income means you never have to ask for a sick day, never have to show up to an office, and never have to work overtime for the same set salary. Being masterless lets you work from wherever you want, get paid for the amount of value you provide versus what someone else says you provide based on a salary, and lets you work whenever you want. Regardless of how much money you make, this is the true meaning of being free in life.

BRIAN BREACH: If It Doesn't Scare You, It Won't Push You Forward

BRIAN BREACH: If It Doesn't Scare You, It Won't Push You Forward

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Brian Breach, a former musical artist turned viral content maker. Brian has garnered massive social media attention and has made a living for himself by creating viral content, some of which have gotten him on national news outlets. He’s done everything from being a fake homeless man that hands out money to doing a fake proposal stunt in front of thousands at a Miami Heat game. Brian shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 4 main takeaways:

  1. You get one shot at life, so you might as well stay positive and make the most of it. Brian has had his fair share of turmoil and bad times in his young life, but his outlook is still insanely optimistic. He emulates positivity and good vibes, and the world rewards him back with big opportunities for not giving up on himself. Take it from him, it can always be worse.
  2. Hustle beats out talent. While the catch phrase may be cliche and overused, it is also incredibly accurate. If someone is better than you at something but fails to work at it, it is only a matter of time before you catch up to them and pass them by putting in the time. Does every video Brian make go insanely viral? Absolutely not. But he is willing to put in the time and thought into making new ones constantly, and some have stuck in a big way.
  3. What you put out into the world comes back to you. The more commonly used phrase for this is the law of attraction, and the name is certainly spot on. If you put out positivity into the world, positive people and things will come right back to you. If you are always miserable and pessimistic, you will push the upbeat people out of your life and be left with people who are willing to listen to your grumblings because that’s how they feel. The same it true for success, and in order to find it you must start constantly looking for ways to have a breakthrough.
  4. If you’re not scared, you won’t be pushed forward. The comfort zone is called the comfort zone for a reason! If you never feel like your back is against the wall or you’re challenged by something, you will remain the same person forever. Take it from Brian, who has made his way by making viral internet content. Is his career path secure? Absolutely not. But that is exactly what lights a fire under his ass and keeps him pushing on day in and day out, and that is exactly why his personal brand has blown up.

DAN MORI: Why Now Is The Best Time To Be An Entrepreneur

DAN MORI: Why Now Is The Best Time To Be An Entrepreneur

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Dan Mori, an entrepreneur, angel investor, and speaker. In 2007, Dan helped start Employment Solutions of New York, which generated over $150M in revenue over the first 10 years. Today, he is the Co-Founder of SpinGig, a hospitality job engine, and is the co-host of the FAQ Show podcast. He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. It is absolutely ok to be your 100% authentic and true self. Conforming to some sort of societal norm or trying to fit in with the crowd will cause you to burn out and not reach your full potential. Instead, be your natural self all of the time, and focus on the people and the opportunities that allow you to be yourself. You will be much more successful and happy with your life as a result.
  2. The best time to start a business is in college. You have nothing to lose, no family to support, hopefully no bills to pay, and therefore can afford to take on a huge risk. Even if you fail, you will have a degree to fall back on and will be able to go get a high-paying job after graduation. In fact, the skillset you’ll take over to the professional world will be well worth it in itself.
  3. Contrary to popular belief lately, you do not have to be passionate about your startup or venture. Rather, become invested in the process of scaling a business so you have the means necessary to enjoy your passions outside of work to the fullest. If you have an idea that is scalable, go all in on it regardless of if you’re passionate about it or not. Fall in love with the process of bringing your idea to generating revenue.

JUSTIN CABALLERO: The Importance of Taking Imperfect Action

JUSTIN CABALLERO: The Importance of Taking Imperfect Action

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Justin Caballero, who is the founder and CEO of SocialX Events. SocialX is the #1 business and networking mastermind, featuring 7-9 figure entrepreneurs. Not only does the mastermind give people the ability to learn from these moguls, but it allows you to connect with fellow leaders and join a terrific community. He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Always self educate. For Justin, he took matters into his own hands when he decided he wanted to get involved with real estate. In his college years, he took the time to read as many books as he could on the subject to best prepare him for success. To this day, Justin continues to self educate even as he becomes more successful and accustomed to the industry.
  2. Take imperfect action. Rather than preparing for years and never just go all in on your passions, learn by experience. You’ll slip up on the way more often than you’d like to think, but you’ll ultimately become a master in your industry if you just get started by taking massive action early on in the process.
  3. Send video DMs when reaching out on Instagram. The Instagram DM is a powerful outreach tool, but few people use it to its full potential. Rather than sending a mass DM to 50 different leads in hopes of landing a sale or a connection, tailor a unique video to each person. Granted, it does take longer and you may feel uncomfortable, but the personalized touch goes a long way for your conversion rates.

CALEB GUILLIAMS: The Best Investment Is In Yourself

CALEB GUILLIAMS: The Best Investment Is In Yourself

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Caleb Guilliams, the founder and CEO of Better Wealth Solutions. The company is committed to showing people how to be more efficient with their money while maximizing their future financial potential.  He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Working remotely is very plausible. There is an idea that working remotely is inefficient and ineffective, but Caleb has found that to be false. Via video calls and group work platforms such as Slack and Asana, working remotely can be as effective as a central office space. And with remote work, your team could be located anywhere in the world.
  2. Follow your dreams, even if your loved ones don’t support you. Caleb walked away from a very good financial situation at his current job to pursue his dream of running a company. Even if his family and friends didn’t understand his decision, he knew in his heart that it was best for him and his future.
  3. Hire people that believe in your vision and your WHY. The best employees are the ones that buy in to your company’s mission, not the ones who need the money. Sure, people will show up every day for a paycheck. But, the people who will be energized to give their best effort at work every day are the ones that want to see the company succeed as if it were their own.

MARIO LANZAROTTI: How To Find The Power in You

MARIO LANZAROTTI: How To Find The Power in You

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Mario Lanzarotti, founder and head coach of The Power In You. He helps professionals and entrepreneurs to communicate their ideas with success, collaborate with purpose and lead by example. With his individual coaching, he helps leaders to design a vision and implement it so that they can live a free life with endless possibilities.  He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. When interning for someone else, ASK QUESTIONS. It may seem that asking questions would make you look vulnerable and unintelligent, but the person you are interning for will in fact love the idea that you are interested enough to ask questions. Not only will you become more proficient at what you’re working on, but you’ll have the perfect excuse to be around who you’re interning for more often and connect with them on a personal level.
  2. He also recommended that anyone interning for someone should set themselves apart from other interns. Rather than doing the bare minimum and leaving each day the minute the firm closes, ask the professional if there is anything else you can do to help out or learn. More often than not, making a strong connection with the professional you intern under will lead to a full time opportunity or allow you to connect with their network to be introduced to a myriad of other opportunities.
  3. Change your outlook on fear. Many people run from fear and never confront it, but the most rewarding and beneficial experiences lie on the other side of fear. Invite fear into your life and become familiar with it. Being complacent and comfortable will never allow you to level up and take your life and career to the next level. Changing your perspective on fear will take time, but once your mindset is shifted, you will become nearly unstoppable.

CHRIS GRONKOWSKI: Former NFL Player Turned Successful Entrepreneur

CHRIS GRONKOWSKI: Former NFL Player Turned Successful Entrepreneur

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Chris Gronkowski, former NFL player turned entrepreneur. Chris has found massive success with the company he founded, Ice Shaker. The Ice Shaker bottle is a top notch water bottle for athletic and everyday use. Chris was able to land a deal with Mark Cuban on Shark Tank to really help Ice Shaker take off.  He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Keep the business in the family. Chris and his wife originally started the business as an engraving service, and he has since teamed up with his brothers to help grow Ice Shaker. Having family involved instills a high level of trust and respect, and will allow the company to blossom as the chemistry necessary to scale a major business will be present. On top of that, reaping the benefits of a successful startup is all the better when your family is there with you.
  2. The lessons you learn in organized sports and organizations can translate to running a business. The concepts of responsibility, communication, trust in your teammates, and respect are essential to becoming a successful athlete. Chris was immersed in these values for years high school, college, and the NFL, and he emulates them as he continues to grow his business.
  3. If you want to get things done, get up earlier. Chris wakes up at 4 AM to get his workouts in before he has to help his kids get ready for school. Many people constantly complain that there aren’t enough hours in the day, yet aren’t willing to start their days 2 hours earlier and pick up momentum before the rest of the world wakes up. The amount of things that can be accomplished with 2 hours of uninterrupted work in the morning is astonishing.

JEFF HOFFMAN: Advice From a Billionaire Serial Entrepreneur

JEFF HOFFMAN: Advice From a Billionaire Serial Entrepreneur

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Jeff Hoffman, a serial entrepreneur best known for being part of the original team that started Priceline. Jeff has been a part of numerous other companies, including uBid.com and ColorJar. Outside of his businesses, Jeff is a published author, distinguished speaker, producer of a Grammy-winning jazz album, and an executive producer of an Emmy winning TV show. He shared a lot of knowledge in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Go out in the world and see if people in your target audience are receptive of your idea. Having a million dollar idea is great, but if the people you try to sell it to don’t understand it, you will never succeed.
  2. Skip parties and having fun now for massive success later on. While everyone's out partying in college, differentiate yourself by being one of the few who works on their craft on a Friday night. By consistently doing this, you will be massively successful and be able to attend more lavish parties as an adult.
  3. Getting around people you idolize is possible, as long as you bring value to them. Successful entrepreneurs, influencers and celebrities are constantly flooded by people who want to be in their circle, so you need to make sure you have a value proposition for them if you want any chance of sticking around. If you do bring value to the table, fostering a relationship with someone you could previously only dream of meeting can be a real possibility.

ADITYA AGASHE: Bestselling Author of Swipe to Unlock

ADITYA AGASHE: Bestselling Author of Swipe to Unlock

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Atidya Agashe, author of the bestselling book, Swipe to Unlock. The book dives deep into a variety of tech topics that the common man would have little to no knowledge on, and keeps the wording simple to make sure anyone can understand it.  He shared a lot of them in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. Always stay up to date on the latest tech news. Technology is one of the most important aspects of our society today, affecting everything from business to the average citizen’s daily life. Being an informed citizen no longer just relates to politics, as technology has implications on every aspect of life including government.
  2. Always be receptive to feedback. After launching the book, Adi and his two co-authors took to the internet to get any and all feedback on their first book in order to make their next project as successful and effective as possible.
  3. When it comes to investing, always do your own research. He provided insight into stock news that would result from a possible acquisition of Lyft by Amazon, and that transformed into a very informative discussion about doing your own research. No matter how educated someone else may sound on the topic, it is ultimately up to you to research the company. Learning for yourself is essential in becoming a sound investor, and of course never invest more than you’re willing to lose.

ALEX BANAYAN: How To Overcome Fear & Rejection

ALEX BANAYAN: How To Overcome Fear & Rejection

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Alex Banayan, author of the best-selling book, The Third Door. The book features interviews with the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Wozniak, Tim Ferriss, and many other elite names. On his 7 year quest to track down these people and write the book, Alex learned a lot of massively valuable lessons. He shared a lot of them in the interview, but here are the 3 main takeaways:

  1. The law of attraction is REAL. No matter how crazy your wishes are, speaking them into existence is extremely possible. For example, look around the room and find everything that is the color red. Once you’ve done this, recall a blue item you laid your eyes on. You probably can’t! This is a basic example of how you begin to see and do things that otherwise wouldn’t happen if you didn’t manifest your goals.
  2. You will work harder than anyone in the world if you love your work. Working 16+ hour days come second nature to anyone who is passionate about their work. Rather than chasing “the next big thing” or whatever appears to make the most money, chase your passions and become incredibly good at them. No matter what your passion is, there is success and money to be had if you’re among the best in the world at it.
  3. Get out and try things, especially if you’re in college. If you know what you want to do, get in every organization or program that will allow you to work on that craft and meet people with similar interests. If you have absolutely no clue what you want to do, get out and try a variety of different things until you begin to take a strong interest in something. There is NO way you will find a passion by not trying anything! There is zero risk in putting the effort in and getting yourself involved-you are the only one holding yourself back.

ROHAN SHETH: How To Scale Your Agency To 7 Figures

ROHAN SHETH: How To Scale Your Agency To 7 Figures

On this episode of Real Talk University, Andre and Christian sat down with Rohan Sheth, who is the co-founder at GrowRev, a massively successful social media marketing agency. Through 10 years of experience in the industry, he has discovered some of the best strategies and methods to find success in the industry. While he provided massive value throughout the episode, the guys took 3 main takeaways out of the episode.

  1. Don’t hesitate to work for free early on. While it should never be for longer than around 60 days, being able to get your foot in the door with companies and show them your worth with no risk to them is huge. If you can prove your worth, beginning to pay a monthly fee will be a no brainer for the client.
  2. When you have a client, they are exactly that: a CLIENT. Do not allow them to treat you as an employee and tell you what to do. You are the expert, you know what is best for their marketing strategies. If your client relationship is controlling and you are not allowed to show your skills and help them grow, it can turn toxic very quickly. Make this clear before you even ink a deal with them.
  3. Amassing a large social media following isn’t necessary to land clients. While social media is undoubtedly one of the most effective methods of client outreach, a large audience that doesn’t engage with your content isn’t useful. Instead, look to build a smaller, more loyal following that will actually translate to business. Rohan himself recently deleted 30k followers off of his page as he stands by this statement wholeheartedly.
