Exploring Biopower

In the debut episode of Reaper Research, your three host Nia Dokes, Lilia Memarzadeh, and Percie Thompson breakdown the term Biopower created by French philosopher Michel Foucault. Utilizing the the literary works of other philosophers like Giorgio Agamben and Judith Butler, three college students attempt explain biopower to the public. Nia talks about bio power within schools, Lilia explains why we shouldn’t take demographics at face value, and Percie reveals how some lives are move protected by the state than others.
