121. A Conversation about Our Position in Christ
Joining me today for one of the best conversations I can recall, is my friend Violet. Last year, she and I had a conversation on episode 74 (go back and listen if you haven't!) which turned out to have the most number of downloads all year!!! So, I thought... we better bring her back and see where another chat goes.
And boy does it go.... we started out talking about the Fruit of the Spirit, humility, and shame (among other things) but God directed our conversation to this question... "When you picture yourself interacting with Jesus / God, I mean visually picture it, in your mind's eye, what do you picture?" And the answers will wow you. We both cried a little!
So hold on to your hearts for this one ladies and make sure you listen through to the very end.
120. My Interview with Dr. Toni Cooper - Part 2
Welcome, to part 2 of my chat with the wise and wonderful Dr. Toni Cooper. If you haven't listened to episode 119, I encourage you to go back and start there - as this one picks up mid-way through our chat.
Dr. Toni Cooper is a psychologist, author, and public speaker. Since l986, she has been helping adults develop strategies to advance toward personal wholeness, recover from traumatic events, build healthy relationships, and deepen their connection to God. The emphasis in all her work is to help people develop practical coping strategies for the challenges of life. She has published numerous books, videos, and a podcast called “Life Without Baggage” to help people become “Fully Alive”.

118. That's Just Bad Theology: Fixing Our Bad Theology Around "Quiet Time" & the Bible
Today I'm chatting with speaker and author Cody Andras. Cody is a single woman in her late 30s who has written 10+ Bible Studies and has a new book out called, Jesus By Her Side, which explores Jesus' heart towards women as seen through His interactions with them in the gospels.
This chat is PACKED with GREAT theology. We talk alot about the Bible specifically, how to study it, how the Holy Spirit helps us understand it, and what it means to spend time with Jesus. One of my favorite interviews in a long time... great ready for the pure GOLD that is this chat!

117: That's Just Bad Theology: If We Do All The Right Things God Will Bless Us With What We Want
The first bad theology we attack (and correct) for this new series "That's Just Bad Theology" is the lie many of us believe, if we just do all the right things God will give us what we want.
I get to discuss this concept with my guest, Pastor, and Author Steve Hinton. Steve is the author of Confessions: Finding Hope Through One Pastor's Doubt. We discuss the journey of learning that God doesn't give us what we want, but what is best for us, and the often painful and dark road of learning to accept that.
Enjoy this episode and don't forget to let us know what you think!

116. That's Just Bad Theology: Introduction the New Mini-Series
What is "Theology"? Why is "good Theology" so important? Is all pain and suffering just a result of "bad theology?"
In this episode, I'm exploring my signature phrase "The Truth Will Set Us Free" from a more intellectual side. Do right doctrine and good theology lead us to the most joy and if so, how can we find it and how do we know when we are in the wrong?
All of this and more!

115. What's Better, Being Single or Being Married?
I think I have some authority on this topic, not having gotten married until I was 39 years old! The single ladies want to know. The married women want to know. I'm going to give you my personal 2 cents on which is "better" and then, of course, we will dive into whether is that even a good question to ask, and what is the more important question to consider for our ultimate joy.
This time of year is intense for all of us. We all navigate moments when we don't feel happy and we believe we know what will make us happy. I just wanted to get real honest today and bring some healing and inspiration to this often not-talked-about thought that we've all had.
114. Knowing the Love of God: The 3 things We Must do to Feel Loved
As mentioned in the Introduction: Juniper Mentoring Website
This week on the podcast we are wrapping up the 3-part teaching on Knowing the Love of God. This part is my favorite. It's real life, where our day-to-day meets our faith head-on.
God's love is free, it is real, it is perfect and personal, and yours right now. So why don't some of us feel it? What are some people still "looking for love in all the wrong places." Well, let me give you 3 places to start.
To feel God's love we must give Him: Our time, Our heart, and whatever else He asks for (our Surrender)
I pray this blesses you today my Sister, my friend.
Your Guide,
Rebekah Anne
113. Know the Love of God: The 8 Characteristics of God's Love
As we round out 2023 there is no better topic to get settled than this one. Are you LOVING LOVED? Do you know that not only were you made for God's love, but that God's love is the best thing for you, and have you let it in? When we get this issue settled we THRIVE from here.
This is week 2 of a 3-week mini-series. Today I share with you 8 often-forgotten characteristics of god's love that we can apply to your problems, our concerns, and our needs, TODAY!
Listen. Enjoy. Let it wash over you. Pray as needed.
Love you, friends. See you next Monday, same time, same place!

112. Knowing the Love of God: The 5 Effects of Knowing the Love of God
As we round out 2023 there is no better topic to get settled than this one. Are you LOVING LOVED? Do you know that not only were you made for God's love, but that God's love is the best thing for you, and have you let it in? When we get this issue settled we THRIVE from here.
Over the next 3 weeks, I will be sharing a 1-hour lesson with you that I've never given anywhere. I'll break the lesson into 3 parts, so you can enjoy shorter, digestable episodes that help you appreciate the wonder and glory of Christ coming to earth as a baby and how much that is EVIDENCE that God really loves us.
Listen. Enjoy. Let it wash over you. Pray as needed.
Love you, friends,

111. How to Cultivate Joy this Holiday Season (no matter your stage of life!)
It's the MOST WONDERFUL time of year, right?
Well, yes and no.
The next month and a half bring with it alot of joy, stress, and love but even pain for some. Let's acknowledge the reality of the upcoming holiday season and then, I want to share with you the few things I'm doing right now to intentionally cultivate joy as we wrap up 2023.
Enjoy this short and sweet episode today!
110. The Big Thing Our New Age Friends are Getting Right (that we can take a cue from!)
I know, I know. I said last week's episode was the last one about New Age Spirituality, but here we are again with one more. I couldn't help myself!
When it hit me this week that our woo-woo, mystic, newagey friends out there are really doing much better than most Christians in this one area (an are God called US TO BE REALLY GOOD AT) I couldn't not address it.
So what it is? Where can we take a cue from them? Listen in to find out then send me a message on Instagram @therealrebekahanne or email podcast@rebekah-anne.com and let me know what you think!
109. The Bottom Line about All New Age Spiritual Practices (+ What the Bible Says About Increasing the Power of the Holy Spirit in Your Life)
Today I wrap up our 3-part series on New Age Spiritualism vs. Christianity.
In the first 20 mins, I hit on:
- What all new age practices are really looking for and how Christ & Christianity proved those with more freedom, simplicity, and power
- How the New Age practices make it nearly impossible to live a life for God and others (hint: most are very self-centered)
In the last 20 mins, I cover:
- The gift of the Holy Spirit that we have as believers and how we can increase the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives (Ask for it, Walk in it, Do Not Grieve it, Do Not Quench it)

This mini-series is hitting home and heating up. Let's get set free from the distraction and the self-reliance ladies. Today, I'm looking into Manifesting and the Law of Attraction. What they are, what the Bible says about our thoughts, what we should live in "total belief of" now and so much more. Drink it up ladies, be washed with the water of the Word. 107. Christianity vs. New Age Spiritualism: Where Our Real Power Comes From
Okay, time to dive into a topic I've kind of been avoiding. I'm not an expert on this topic but I find myself drawn to alot of things... so I know if I am, you are!
It's time to take a closer look at New Age Spiritualism. Why are we so drawn to it? What is it exactly? Is any of it Biblical? Is it harmless? Does it work?
Today I start another mini-series and we're jumping in by talking about where our real power comes from. Plus, I give you a set of questions you can ask to quickly determine if what you are reading, doing, learning, listening to, etc., is New Age or Christianity (because yes, it can be very confusing at times!)
106. Rejection Part III: 3 Spiritual Realities That Set Us Up be Victorious (and not Victims) When Rejected
We wrap our our 3-part podcast series on Rejection today, with 3 TRUTHS (Biblical Truth, Ultimate Reality, God Said So!) that allow us, as His children, a chosen and Royal Priesthood, to be victorious in rejection and not victims of it.
- God knows the details and we don't have to
- People who understand grace and unconditional love won't reject you when you imperfect
- Holiness will lead to rejection and that is ok
Allow me to flush these out with you and help you move these from your head to your heart so that you can heal and get unstuck from any rejection you may be currently feeling.

104. Rejection Part 1: What it Feels Like, Why it Hurts, and How the Truth that God Accepts Us Can Be Applied to our Pain
Rejection is a part of life. It hurts. Being ignored, not valued, or overlooked is a painful experience. However, we can't run from it and in fact, we can use it to get more deeply rooted in the unconditional acceptance we find in God.
This is part one of a two-part teaching in which I am going to help you guys GET FREE of both the fear of rejection and the feelings that we often sweep under the rug.
Whether it's your peers who stopped inviting you to things, or your grown children who seem to not want as much time with you as you want with them, let's learn about this painful emotion, what to do with it, and how to turn to God in it.

103. The Passionate Pursuit of Purpose with Shiraz Siddique

Plus, I'll give you 3 critical things to consider if you are thinking about reaching out to solve a problem or get support in your life right now.
Then, you get to be a fly on the wall while I chat with my friend Susan Brown about Christian Life Coaching in general and even how we run our practices as professionals.

101. Resting From Our Need to Achieve
And we're back! Let's pick up our weekly episodes again, kicking it off with this teaching about how we can rest from our need to achieve.
Do you often feel pressure, anxiousness, and even guilt when you aren't doing something that feels "productive?" That's really no way to live at all! Let's take a little look at why we feel that way, and how we can reframe our desire to work and grow in a Biblical way and I'll offer you a few ideas of ways that you can begin to rest instead of going, doing, growing, and working... all that time!

97. Suffering Redeemed with Karis Meier
Today my guest is Author Karis Meier. Karis and I talk about suffering (again, yes, for the 2nd week in a row) and how it holds treasures untold for us as believers. Karis has suffered from various physical alments for nearly 18 years and cycled from joyful, to hopeless, and everything in between. Together we venture through all that she has learned from this valley as well as the words of advice she has for people who are walking alongside others who are suffering; how to help them, how to be with them, how to love them when you are in a very different "place" then they are.
Karis has a joyfully infectious laugh, and a beautiful faithfulness, and is a rock in the Kingdom not because of anything she has done but because of what God has done in and through her. Listen in a meet a new sister in Christ, then go buy her book!

93. What is your Calling? Using Your Interests and Talents to Tell People about Jesus
This month, we are exploring the theme of Purpose & Calling in the Abundant Life Lab and today, I get to chat with Heather Norman Smith, an Author who lives in North Carolina about the moment she felt "called" to her unique path of writing.
Leaning into her unexpected calling of being a Christian Author has inspired her to encourage other women to lean into their unique interests and passion as a way to tell others about Jesus. It doesn't have to be complicated. It doesn't have to be "super spiritual." It doesn't have to be given to you by someone else. God made us the way we are on purpose! Our purpose is bigger, more fun, and dare I say "better" than many of us have been told it is. Yes, we have universal callings as believers but we also have unique giftings, passions, talents, and experiences that we can use to further the Kingdom. This chat is so REAL LIFE and will be VERY inspiring for all! Thank you Heather for leaning into your unique way of sharing Jesus with the world (and for writing your amazing book!)

92. Cracking the Confidence Code for Christian Women
Today, I'm taking a few mins to talk to you about the reality that confidence is built. It is not genetic. It is not based on looks, age, income, or title. When we really look around and boil it down, it is something we can all build.
I don't go into all the details of how we build it in this short episode, but I give you enough to chew on and a good take-a-way question to answer for yourself.

87. New Language to Help You Understand and Protect Your God-Given Worth
I'm back today, just me, with a mini-teaching for you guys. Do you know that nothing can make you any more or any less valuable as a creation of God than you are right now? Did you know that your worth has nothing to do with anything outside of you at all? Not your looks, age, income, relationship status, weight, education... nothing! You may have heard stuff like this before, but I bet nobody has explained it to for you quite like I do here today. I have a feeling this episode is going to make things CLICK for some of you in a way they never have. ENJOY

86. A Conversation about Grace, Identity and What to Do if You Still Want to Earn It
Today you are in for a treat! Listen as Robby and I unpack GRACE. What is it really? Why is it so hard to grasp? Why does it make some of us so uncomfortable? Grace is simple but also complex, so it makes for a fun topic to nerd out on, and we do! But more than fun, this episode will challenge any root of self-righteousness, pride, or works-based faith that you might have. Which, if you do have, is stealing the peace and joy and freedom that can be yours RIGHT NOW. Yes, it's true. We all remember when we really got grace. Have you gotten it?

85. I See Your Faith ... More Importantly God Sees It
We talk so much about areas we need to grow. We confess sins, share trials, and capitalize on pain points... today I'm taking a pause from that focus on "what we can improve" to celebrate the FAITH APPLIED I see all day, every day.
You're doing it you know. Trusting God as He asks. You are. I see it. He sees it. You know it. But who calls it out? Today I do.
I see you woman who is taking a pregnancy test for the 5th year in a row... still trusting God
I see you single women who can't muster the bravery to go to church, sitting at home crying out to God again
I see you woman who feels like you were made for more, waiting on god for His plan and calling
Take this short episode in and TAKE HEART. Satan wants to tell you that you failing, even with faith. I disagree. I see faith EVERYWHERE.

80. A (introduction) Conversation about Progressive Christianity
Friend, there is something we've gotta talk about. Perhaps you know the term, maybe this will be your first exposure to it. Today, I'm chatting with my friend about Progressive Christianity. What is it? Is it dangerous? How can we be on the lookout for it? You all know my entire ministry and business is based on helping women know and believe the TRUTH because the TRUTH sets us free. Well, Progressives really question all truth and redefine it, and therefore, your true freedom and power and even eternity are at risk. So I can not keep silent. Let's start this conversation so that you can be aware and discerning.

79. How Stuffing Uncomfortable Emotions Robs You of Feeling Positive Feelings
There are numerous reasons we stuff our emotions. We feel a sense of worry well up, or rejection, or self-doubt and we just push it down and shake it off and distract ourselves, hoping the feeling in the gut or body will pass. We are too busy. It's all too much. What if it's true? Or what if someone knew I had these thoughts? If I start to "go there" I'm going to fall apart and never feel ok again.
In this short episode today I want to give you something to think about. That maybe, just maybe this habit of stuffing emotions is actually preventing you from feeling anything at all... including GOOD feelings. Is it possible that if you are willing to feel what you feel you will feel better more often? YES. It is.

78. The Difference Between Facts, Feelings and TRUTH: Are You Living in Obedience to Facts, Feelings or Truth
These concepts are hard to nail down, but today I'm giving it a very descriptive try... with lots of examples. The bottom line question is do you orient your life around the truth - or around what you can feel and see? Do you make your choices and your emotions SUBMIT to the truth or not? What we can see (the facts as we know them) and what we can feel, are not the path to freedom. Jesus is. The Truth is. We are going to keep taking this conversation deeper but let's get started here!

77. My Sneaky Secret (that I almost forgot about!) to High Confidence
I love talking about confidence! When I sat back and reflected on my life so far, and God started to show me some obvious things in scripture, it dawned on me that the root of my confidence comes from a practice that Jesus himself prays for all believers to have and find and become. I've been blessed to have a TON of it in my life... like, way more than the average person I think. It's also something you can get into or make happen right now. What in the world is it? LISTEN and find out!

76. How One Women Overcame the "Checkbox Quiet Time" and Learned to Connect With, Trust & Rely on Jesus in a More Satisfying Way
On January 10th of this year, I got a message on Instagram from someone I'd never met. Her name was Jessica, a podcast listener who wanted to share with me how a simple quote from over a year ago, impacted her greatly and helped her grow leaps and bounds in the Lord, in 2022. I loved her story so much I invited her on the short for a chat about her message.
You'll are gonna love her just as much as I do. Listen and LEARN - for the LORD is truth shines in her words and her life. Specifically was talk about how she overcame the "habit" of doing an intellectual quiet time and learned to really trust and rely on Jesus in a more satisfying way, daily.

74. A Conversation about Waiting on God
Happy Monday friends! It today's episode I am having a conversation with a sweet, wise, sister in Christ who has a unique story of waiting on God. Violet is a wife, mom of 2 boys, homeschooling genius (in my opinion), and has spent some serious time and years praying for things and learning to let God change HER in the process, not necessarily the circumstances she was praying about (though that did come about too!)
List and be encouraged in your journey of waiting. Is there anything more beautiful than hearing someone else's story in depth?
73. It's Time to MOVE for the Kingdom: How to detect your calling, seek the healing to unleash it, and have the courage to start small
Today I am chatting with my friend, Audelee. Audelee is just a "normal woman" who followed the prompting God put on her heart to start a ministry that is now in its 4th year of blessing hurting women and helping them find their hope and healing in Christ. A wife, mom, and working woman, I wanted to interview her so that you can all be spurred on in the good works that God created YOU FOR.
You have been created to do good work! You have been given talent and resources and passions, on purpose! This episode will surely inspire you to stop waiting for perfection or even 100% clarity to just get moving for the Kingdom.
