Today we are catching up with Alyssa, a 30-year-old single woman who lives in Wyoming. On today's episode, I am chatting with Hannah Lynch. She's a 31-year-old single, Jesus-loving gal who didn't expect her life to go this way and has done the hard work to adjust to it, trust God, and embrace the journey. We talk about letting go "of the dream," what it feels like to lay it down, the urge to control things or make ourselves "available," and she shares about how God recently brought her to a new level of contentment and excitement for her future. 

If you've been single past the age of about 25 (aged out of the college group, can I get an amen?!) and attend church, you know that "where do I fit in" misplaced feeling. Churches are simply not great at making unmarried adults feel seen, equal, included... none of it. They don't do it on purpose, we know, but the fact remains, attending church is actually painful for many single people. It sure seems like something is wrong with that. Let's start this discussion with this week's episode, with a part II and III to come soon! 

Do you ever feel like you have to compromise on your values, wants, or even sense of safety in order to attract and find love? Have you lost hope that you can be yourself, stand firm in who you are and that a man will still want you or love you? If you... you have probably, in some way, betrayed your own self (or God!) in dating. It feels awful too. Anxiousness, obsession, and erosion of self-worth...just to name a few...can begin to plague your life and mindset.
