Tories and 'The Final Days of Rome'

In this video we get into the increasing levels of incompetency and hubris at the heart of the UK Govt.

Topics on their own that are neither new or shocking, but we feel have taken a turn for the even worse in recent weeks as the Tories and Sunak grow increasingly desperate to hold on to the power they have left.

Probably telling that in the week since recording a slew of further gaffes and scandals engulf the party and it's government that we didn't even get to include this time.

Barbieheimer

Barbieheimer

This is the first of what will be our new format going forward: shorter, more regular episodes on specific topics. We’re trying to gradually make it more of a visual experience for those who watch us on both YouTube and Spotify Video whilst hopefully still catering to the folks who listen in when we post too.

We’re hoping by making some of our content more easily digestible and algorithm-friendly that we can continue to push ourselves - we’ve never been shy about trying to mix things up every now and then and we appreciate the few hundred of you have came with us every step of that journey so far. We’re really wanting these changes to allow us to talk with you all more often than has been the case recently.

We also need to play the game a bit more readily than we have until now, so we’ll be a bit more “Youtuby” going forward too with more regular calls to action that can help the channels and show grow - as such, any likes, shares or comments left where you can are a massive help.

We appreciate everyone’s support over the 5+ years we’ve been going already and look forward to hopefully dialling in a format that allows us to keep chatting for years to come.

Are Billionaires Ok?

Are Billionaires Ok?

After a raft or recent examples of billionaires doing everything with their money except spend it on something productive that benefits everyone, we ask: Are billionaires ok?

Between homemade submarines, cage fights, impulse social media purchases and talk of colonising other planets instead of creating the technology to save the one we have, the answer is probably no!

We discuss everything from the mechanics of Crypto and it’s impact on both the environment and society, the volatility of the markets and if the claims made around the security of exchanges and the blockchain are everything we’re being told they are.

We also discuss the burgeoning NFT markets around the world and how, or if, it’s possible to imbue something with no intrinsic value as something with the characteristics of a sound investment.

This all comes in a week where the markets we’re discussing have tanked, wiping hundreds of billions of pounds off these markets values.

Are these products all just scams that are destined to fail? Find out here.
