Talking Techcomms - adapting to change in enterprise IT PR
The world of enterprise IT PR is a complex, ever-changing environment, with businesses today facing a host of challenges when it come to their PR and marketing efforts. For example, the gap between how businesses want to be perceived, what their customers want, and what journalists want to write about can make it difficult for businesses to know exactly where to focus their PR efforts – particularly with so much competition in the market. What’s more, the growing influence of digital is changing perceptions around PR. It’s now about so much more than just coverage, prompting businesses large and small to focus more on lead generation and education around how their products solve industry pain points rather than just brand awareness. This is linked to the b2b sales cycle, where factors such as third-party validation play a key part in people’s buying decisions. With all this in mind, we sat down with London lorry and client director Emma Davies to talk about all things enterprise IT PR in the latest Talking TechComms podcast. Talking Techcomms - Movie Marketing with DMS
The emphasis on utilising data to drive results is widely talked about in modern marketing, but it's easy to get overwhelmed when you have so much information coming from all directions. That's why, when identifying marketing KPI's, finding the right sources of data to sit hand in hand is a must. This can be a significant challenge and some of the most frequently used (and misused) sources of data when planning marketing strategies are social media insights. To explore this topic further, London lorry Martin Izzard sat down with Anna Zaikina, the head of social media insights at Digital Media Services (DMS) - a full-service creative agency that provides content creation, localisation and social insights for its clients and has worked with many of the major movie studios.Martin and Anna also explore what insights major film studios use to generate mass interest and how social media plays an important part in movie marketing as a whole.   To find out more about Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and our PR and marketing services, visit our website or drop us a line at hello@rlyl.com Twitter: www.twitter.com/RedLorryComms LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/company/red-lorry-yellow-lorry Instagram: www.instagram.com/redlorrycomms

Talking TechComms - Michael Blackman: MD of ISE
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is one of the world’s largest AV and systems integration events on the tradeshow calendar, attracting a host of leading speakers and showcasing the industry’s most advanced technologies. Although many have predicted the ‘death of the tradeshow’ for some time, ISE 2019 was the biggest ever. It was spread across more than 600,000 square feet of space at the RAI in Amsterdam and attracted more than 80,000 visitors, with attendance on the final day topping 20,000 people for the first time in its history. So, what does it take to organise such a large-scale event? How have tradeshows had to adapt over the years? And do they still hold the value they once did? At ISE 2019, we spoke to Michael Blackman – the show’s managing director – to uncover the answers to these questions and more, including why partners can have a vital role to play in improving the attendee experience.
