You’ll hear from Ben and Brandon discussing youth work and the Grassroot Activators Programme (GAP), a year-long initiative delivered over 2 days a week for 16 to 25-year-olds from marginalised communities across Bristol that seeks to raise aspirations, create role models and develop realistic pathways to future opportunities.

In this section you take on a walking tour of the Redcliffe and Temple area with Andrew from Out-stories Bristol.  This tour focuses on stories from the LGBTQ+ communities.

We visit the popular Temple Quay street food market.  We hear how the market helps build community in the area whilst feeding the local workforce with tastes from around the world.  Featuring the voices of local workers, the market vendors and an interview with David from Square Roots Events who manages the market.  Tom from the BID team adds to the debate around sustainability.

For our final section in this episode we meet an iconic local business.  We talk to Chris from the music venue The Fleece, discovering the history of the venue, the day to day and what’s ahead.
