Redefine Me

Sometimes your faith needs activation. We know that faith without works is dead so what are you willing to do to activate that faith? In her story Brittney shares how not only did she had faith but she was obedient to what God told her to do. Her obedience and faith brought her protection, freedom, and a blessing that only God could get the glory for. As you listen to her story let it encourage you to activate your faith.

Having faith is not always easy. Life throws so much at us. It’s an ongoing journey. As you listen to Ravia’s story you realize there was one moment that changed her entire life. He life relied on her faith and it was redefined over and over again. As you listen to her story she is vulnerable and courageous. It helps you realize that God guides us and never leaves us. Ravia's faith is still being redefined. She is still striving and still fighting. I pray her story encourages you to keep going and never lose faith even when you feel like giving up.

Purpose is something I think we all search for wether we know it or not.

The hard part about it is that we sometimes have to go through things to get there.

The definition of purpose is:

the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

There are so many ways to get to the “Reason”

I believe our way to the reason is simply the things that we have experienced in life.

Our love, Our family, Our relationships, Our Careers, Our Trauma, Our Goals, ETC.

This week Jayh is back with a short message about why it is important to understand the portion that we have been given. She was still taking care of family business this week and was unable to do a full episode, but she wanted to make sure she came and let you all know where she has been!

Sometimes you have to take rest so that you can reset.

Resting isn’t a bad thing. Some reasons why it could look that way:

1. Is because the world is telling you you have to hustle.
2. Or you are just used to being busy.
3. Or you don’t have the time because you have so much to do.
4. You need to make money

Reasons why rest is important.

1. Your body needs rest to function
   1. It helps your immune system
2. Gives your mind a break
3. It allows you to hear God

Designate times that allow you to get rest. A day where you do nothing or a time frame where you do nothing.

Be intentional and change the narrative. Realize it is an investment!

REST SIS!!

We have to be honest about what we want, where we are, and what we’ve done.

For this episode I will focus on these 3 areas in particular when it comes to giving yourself grace.

Below are the key points broken down so that you can apply grace to your life everyday from this point on!

1. What you want:

What do you want?

Take some time to answer this question. You may not know yet, but once you  figure it out put some goals in place so that you can get whatever it is that you  want.

Are you willing to do the work to get it?

This is simple. All you have to do is answer the question above with a yes or no.

Are you willing to wait for it?

This is where we need the most grace. Be patient with yourself in this process. Great  things take time. Sometimes it takes longer than we want but be willing to wait until  you have what you want.

1. Where you are.

Where are you?

Once you understand what you want be honest about where you are right now!

See what things you need to change to get to where you want to be. Give yourself  grace.

Take inventory of the things you have and the things that you need.

Look at the things you have now. What can you use. If you need more work towards  getting those things. But make sure it is in alignment with what you want overall.

3. What you’ve done. (Self reflection)

This is where you go back in a you clean somethings up. If you don’t have what  you want and you don’t like where you are. Look at what you have been doing and  change it. Forgive yourself and move forward. In this process don’t be to hard on  yourself. Be patient with your process and give yourself grace.
