Agent 42's deception has the crew scrambling to get back to the surface and evacuate the citizens of Hivehome as doom looms overhead. Hercynia's secrets are laid bare as Dthall Ordo, a Hercynian ranger, and her Egregorian bondmate Mirth lead the crew into the heart of Hivehome to continue their attempts at diplomacy. There won't be much time for sight-seeing, however: the emissary has arrived.
