This week, we take a moment to update the Refuge community on where we are. God is up to something! He’s got something cooking!

1 Samuel 30:1–6 | When we lean into the Lord, He will give us new strength for new strategies.

To fail forward, we have to decide to use missteps and mistakes.

Keep pushing ‘til you find God’s favor!

Ruth 1:19-21 (NLT)

19 When they came to Bethlehem, the entire town was excited by their arrival. “Is it really Naomi?” the women asked.

20 “Don’t call me Naomi,” she responded. “Instead, call me Mara, for the Almighty has made life very bitter for me.

21 I went away full, but the Lord has brought me home empty. Why call me Naomi when the Lord has caused me to suffer and the Almighty has sent such tragedy upon me?”

One of the biggest struggles in the Christian life is the anxiety that comes from feeling like we “missed” God.

Who we are, made available to God, yields miraculous results.

God wants to work miracles with the mundane things we already have!

We take a moment to discuss how we'll be starting 2022.

The Incarnation demands our incarnating His cause of righteousness/social justice.

Immanuel is not just a theological truth, but a testimonial declaration.

Jesus chooses to be present at the right times!

The Incarnation of Jesus reveals the heart, values, and intentions of God.

God demands that we remove the things that compete for His high place in our lives.

The Church is not about a building or a geographical location, but an IDENTITY.

Each person is going to have to know what “moving forward” will require of them.

Are we willing to put our rights to the side, and put our lives at risk to be a blessingto others?

Jesus’ death on the cross was a vaccine against the deadly virus of sin!

When in-person, corporate worship has been disrupted for a period of time, there must be steps of preparation taken to be spiritually prepared to move forward into public worship.
