The Race Conversations.
This is my moment to share since I'm no longer living in fear of 'they' are sick of hearing it' or 'I'll get fired'.

My intention which you can hear more about in the trailer episode... is to educate myself on America, the laws and our rights. Plus while doing so, I can educate you. You won't just hear me talking, I'll be talking to lawyers, pastors, politicians and more.

Ready to learn? Ready to be a true ally?

Why your vote didn't count and how to fix it! Guest: Joe Lusignan

Why your vote didn't count and how to fix it! Guest: Joe Lusignan

Did you vote count? How to know; Go to votewa.gov and see if your ballot says "accepted" if it doesn't, call the auditors office and ask why!

Benton county: (509) 736 2727 and/or auditor@co.benton.wa.us and/or elections@co.benton.wa.us

Franklin county: (509) 545-3502 and/or Elections@co.franklin.wa.us

I would email and call ASAP! If your ballot doesn't say accepted. If you're signature is wrong, there is a chance you can fix it. However for it to count in our Local election that was Aug. 4, 2020-- you must do this BEFORE 4:30 pm on August 17.

If you have a question! Ask, don't just sit around not knowing.

Feel free to hit me up but I'll probably just have you call the auditors office (info above)

A Conversation with, Frances Chvatal. She's Running for a local House of Representatives seat in the 16th District, Position 1

Frances Chvatal is running for "House of Representatives" 16th District, Position 1 (This is a local, WA State position). ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ✅ You should have your ballot, if not now by Friday-- which will tell you if she's on your ballot or not. ⁣(I got mine) ⁣ ⁣ Call the auditors office if you don't have your ballot soon. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ------⁣ Benton County Auditor; (509) 736-2727⁣ Franklin County Auditor; (509) 545-3538⁣ -----⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ➡️ Take your time to VOTE but have your ballot in BEFORE 8p on August 4th. Drop your ballot in an official drop box. ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣------⁣ Not registered to vote but want to vote? You must be registered by July 27th to vote locally for our August 4th primary. ⁣✅ ✅Register here = https://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/register.aspx ⁣------⁣ ⁣ ⁣ In my opinion... order of importance on voting? ⁣ Local voting = 1A⁣ President = 1B⁣ ⁣ ⁣❤️❤️ ⁣ From my research here is info on what a "House of Representative" seat does, explained simply...⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ House members are elected to two-year terms. They write local laws. ⁣ ⁣ But remember WE THE PEOPLE are their boss. So the laws they write should be something we pushed for! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ A person who holds this seat makes about $50k a year. That money comes from our tax dollars. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣------⁣ 👉🏽 Question to ask yourself? ⁣ ✤ Do I know who my local law makers are? ⁣ ⁣ If not, why not? ⁣ 👉🏽Is that your fault or their fault? ⁣ ⁣ Who is in your face and trying to introduce themselves to you? ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 👉🏽 All interviews will be live from about 730a - 830a (ish) Thursday & Fridays until 8/4. I've invited everyone running for office, verbally and the ones I'll be interviewing are the people who reached out to me! ⁣(more of the schedule coming) ⁣ ⁣ All interviews will be chopped up and put on my podcast called 'The Race Conversations' = https://anchor.fm/reka-robinson4⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ xo⁣ Reka @justmeReka Frances https://www.facebook.com/electfranceschvatal/

A Conversation with Justin Raffa, He's Running For The Benton County Commissioner Seat in District 1

A Conversation with Justin Raffa, He's Running For The Benton County Commissioner Seat in District 1

As a politician and a business owner I’ll need to have an idea of where you stand before I ever spend my money with you and/or vote for you.⁣

⁣I shouldn’t have to ask. As much as you post as a politician and business owner I should know by now—- where you stand. ⁣

⁣⁣Justin Raffa is the ONLY guy who has reached out to me who is running for the Benton County Commissioner District 1 seat.⁣

Richland and W.Richland he will be on your Ballot Aug. 4th (Ballots mailed out July 17th)⁣

Ask yourself this...⁣

“do I know any of my politicians here?” ⁣

“Have they been speaking up on the issues that matter to me?”⁣⁣

Although we do need to be educated and I will use my platform as much as I can to not only educate YOU but me as well... it shouldn’t be THIS hard to figure out who is running our city and who they are. ⁣

Why do you think they are “hiding” ???⁣

I believe it’s by design. ⁣

The Benton County commissioner’s make over $100,000 a year. WE are paying them. ⁣

Do you know what a commissioner does?⁣

How they effect YOU?⁣

They are stewards over a budget of about $220 million— that is OUR money and where is OUR money going?⁣

That is the conversation I had with Justin and more... listen here: ⁣⁣

We are their boss but can only give orders if we know what is going on. ⁣

A Conversation with Sergeant Rigo Pruneda of the Pasco Police Department

A Conversation with Sergeant Rigo Pruneda of the Pasco Police Department

Two things can be true, you can want police reform but not hate police officers. This is a conversation about that... and more.

Questions I asked him:

- Why did he want to become a police officer?

- What is the difference between resisting arrest and not resisting arrest? Can they shoot someone in the back?

- What does defund the police actually mean? Why does Pasco Police have body and dash cameras but Kennewick and Richland do not? How can we as citizens of this community change that?

- If you were the officer with that 'officer' that killed George Floyd would you have stopped him?

... and More!

Me: Is your first instinct to shoot someone if they are running away from you?

Pruneda: No. No.

Me: Is it your job to bring someone in alive (into custody)?

Pruneda: It's 100% our job.

Me: so you don't see it as 'you're a criminal so whatever happens  to you and you die I don't care'.

Pruneda: No. No. And you're right, people think that's how police think and that's not the case.
