#42 Vibe Through Life Ft. The Rising Phoenix Podcast

#42 Vibe Through Life Ft. The Rising Phoenix Podcast

Listen in on our first collaboration style episode with Loren and Sam from The Rising Phoenix Podcast. As two 20 somethings curious about life we chat with two wiser women that have been there and done that (not all of life but definitely more than us).

We speak on their experience within the corporate life and figuring out how it just was not for them. In regards to that, Sam shares how she managed to combat the monotonous routine that drained her energy to now being in a place where her energy is being used up in a worth while way as a freelance graphic designer

Loren shares her backstory that built her into who she is today, her wins definitely blossomed from her losses. She speaks on the realisation that life is way too short to not set boundaries. Why it is good to set those boundaries and some practical ways on how she deals with it.

If you're also interested in star signs and crystals then you definitely need to tune in, we learn that theres more than one sign that we all have. They teach us about our Sun, Moon and Ascendant signs, what each sign means and much more.

As well as some crystal talk that leads into conversation about energy. An interesting debate about the energy surrounding your food is brought up, is a burger low vibrational or merely an object. If a person makes the food with love can you tell?

Listen in now to hear it all and make sure to head over to their page and give them some good energy!

#40 Not Just Nutrition Ft. Jennifer May

#40 Not Just Nutrition Ft. Jennifer May

In this new and exciting episode we welcome Jennifer May, a Sydney based nutritionist with 9 years of experience.

Within her career, Jennifers knowledge and passion has brought her to do many exciting things. In 2014 together with her husband she pioneered an industry first internship for promising students & new graduates of Nutrition & Dietetics. You will hear more about what pushed her to create this amazing internship in this episode.

We also get to learn about Jennifers volunteer work in Myanmar (Burma) in 2017. From being there to educate nurses and midwives on nutrition to seeing for herself the gaps in basic nutritional knowledge they lacked; nurses working long hours in the extremely hot climate and not drinking water all day as they did not want to sweat.

Lastly she dismantles a common perspective that all a nutritionist will do is provide a client with a new diet and that is it. When in fact, it is much more than that. You will get to know in this episode that for Jennifer, the diet is 5% of her work and the rest is figuring out the clients lifestyle and what they really need so she can give them the most practical advice because its all about the balance!

If this sounds interesting we speak on more so tune in right now to hear it all!

#39 Becoming A Better Person Ft. Dane

In this episode we have Dane who Irra met during a routine fire alarm check at her apartment. After seeing her Jordan Peterson book the conversation began and that's how it came to be of him coming on! Funny how things work out the way you least expect.

We also go through how Dane confronted his battle with social anxiety after a realisation of what he feared most...... (listen to find out what that was). A lot of great wisdom to be heard when dealing with these common issues that majority of us may struggle with to different extents.
