Stepping in for Domestic Violence, Relationship and Dating Coaching with Shana Chow | Ep. 187
Shana is a Jill-of-all-Trade's, she grew up behind the scenes of the film industry travelling to different countries to visit her father who worked as a props master on large Motion Pictures and Hollywood Blockbusters.   At a young age Shana caught the acting bug and pursued commercial, theatre, film and modelling work. However, being subjected to the vanity of external appearances in the entertainment industry she developed eating disorders which in time she overcame. Although passionate about acting, she wanted to pursue another purpose in life. While having a background in sports with over 12 years of soccer experience she became a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine while attending University.    She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences, and worked for the Provincial Government in Social Services advocating for low income families and helping women fleeing domestic abuse. However, she faced her own adversity losing her high school sweetheart and friend to a violent attack, family mental health issues, and ironically being involved in a long term toxic relationship herself, however, she is a strong believer that someone is, "never a victim, and always a warrior."    Shana further pursued her education and became a certified Life Coach through Rhodes Wellness College, and is now a Vancouver based Dating and Relationship Coach. She works with her clients to empower them throughout their dating and relationship journeys while giving insightful, clever and witty advice. Through her own adversity she has developed a compassionate approach in working with her clientele. Shana is also a published author and poet and has two books, "I Tried to Write Love Poems," and "Love Gone Savage," both written to help women going through tribulations, to give them not just light at the end of the tunnel, but the whole damn sun.   LINKS  Women facing dating burnout or fatigue:    Website for Coaching -   Rate your Happiness Quiz - https:/     Social Media   Instagram for dating & relationships:   Instagram for my writing and books:   Youtube Channel:   Main website:

Episode 094 - 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse - Relationships with Rob
This is something I learned during my research phase of looking into why most relationships break down.  During this time, I realized I had access to that information, as I've been following Dr. John Gottman of The Gottman Institute for a long time. There was a lecture I heard of his, and he talked about the 4 Horsemen of the Apoocalypse, and he was referring to 4 things that people do inside of a marriage or a relationship that will indicate that that relationship will either end in divorce or a break up if they continued to do these 4 things. I think this is an important one so tune in, and let me know what you thought about the episode!  Please SUBSCRIBE, RATE and REVIEW this show, as it helps us get more eyes on it, and that way the world can slowly be a better place. The HQ – Ep049 – Why Meditation and Mindfulness Can Help You
What’s up fellas! Happy Friday. New episode on mindfulness and meditation and why it’s so important or beneficial to our everyday lives. I use it twice a day. Once for sure in the morning, and try to make time for a second time if I have it. WHY? Because I’m a firm believer in it. It’s helped me control my anger and temper. I have much more meaningful and thoughtful things to say and I’m much more even keel and not bouncing all over the walls. It keeps me grounded guys. And I’m sure you would like to know how as well. During divorce, it’s a pretty rough time, I get it. So taking the time out to heal your mind and heart inside is important. Your body will follow suit as long as you take care of everything upstairs. This is like healing for our hearts, and it’s worth a shot! LINKS BELOW! ____________________________________ FaceBook Page FaceBook Private Group Instagram
