Pastor Tony McDonald with the First United Methodist Church of Magee stopped in to talk about Food For Families. This is a program that feeds the community on the 4th Thursday of each month, except for November & December. Because of the holidays they'll hand out food on the 3rd Thursday in November & December. 

We are now having a runoff election for the position of Chancery Clerk in Simpson County. The only position on the ballot is for Chancery Clerk & voter turnout is very important for this important position in our county. The runoff election is coming up on Tuesday, November 29th. Polls open from 7am to 7pm. 

Sue Honea dropped by to talk about the runoff election for Chancery Clerk & also gave us some updates about the City of Magee.

Pastor Edgar Lee joined us to talk about a Prayer event for Monday, Nov. 7th at 6pm on the front steps of the Simpson County Courthouse. Hosted by the Simpson County Christian Coalition. 

Pastor Ralph Walker with Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church is running for Simpson County School Board District 2. He'll talk about his history in Simpson County & his experience for the position. 

She's running for Magee District 2 on Tuesday, Nov. 8th.
