7 Matt McLain’s Interview with Ellinor Hultmark
Another interview from PATT39, with Matt chatting with Ellinor Hultmark, a PhD student studying learning in Technology Education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Ellinor's research explores reasoning in Technology Education in compulsory schooling. Matt's interest in her research was piqued when Ellinor talked about using her framework for reasoning for observations of teachers in their classrooms. You can read her paper, 'Unpacking Reasoning in the Design Process in Technology Education', on pages 67 to 73 of the PATT39 Conference Proceedings. Ellinor's framework draws on philosophical concepts on reasoning and could help with the theorisation of design and technology education.
