Roarke: Live from the Hospital
Roarke, friend and fellow creator in the retro gaming scene was recently in a horrific car accident, that's left him in the hospital for over a month.  In true bad-ass fashion, he's been recovering and is able to stand...even though there was talk of amputation, or him not making it at all.  I wanted to livestream with him to hear his story, catch up and see what's next! Open Source Roundtable Discussion
Today, I’m joined by René from db Electronics, Tianfeng and Rattboi to discuss the implementations and uses of open source hardware and software.  All of us are huge fans of open source and have participated (and created) many open projects in the scene.  While most of our discussion will be focused on the positivity of open source, we’ll also be addressing some of the misconceptions and more complicated topics of what’s “open”, what’s “freeware” and what’s theft. https://twitter.com/db_himself https://twitter.com/Tian_Feng44 https://twitter.com/rattboi This podcast is also available as a video.  More information in the main post:  https://www.retrorgb.com/open-source-roundtable-discussion.html Please consider supporting this channel via monthly support services, tips, or even just by using our affiliate links to purchase things you were already going to buy anyway, at no extra cost to you:  https://www.retrorgb.com/support.html   T-Shirts:  https://www.retrorgb.com/store.html  All equipment used to shoot this video can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/retrorgb

RetroTINK 5x Creator Mike Chi
Here's the audio from a live podcast / interview I did with RetroTINK creator Mike Chi.  The audio isn't as good as usual, since we did it live with no post-processing, but it was still a really interesting chat and we dug into a bunch of "behind the scenes" inner workings of the amazing new RetroTINK 5x.  Links to the video and more info are available in the main post: https://www.retrorgb.com/interview-with-retrotink-5x-creator-mike-chi.html

Podcast With Louis Zezeran
I recently had a chat with comedian, Estonian cultural attaché and fellow retro gaming nerd Louis Zezeran.  I'd previously been a guest on his podcast and when I saw he was tipping his toes into the icy waters of retro game videos, I wanted to have him on for a chat.  This podcast is (respectfully) more about two buddies catching up and not a "promotion of a new channel", however it just so happens that Louis' last two videos were something I think many retro gamers would be interested in.  Either way, I hope you enjoy the chat...and please excuse me if I'm a bit off, as this was my first podcast back after being sick... RetroRGB Writer's Podcast #3
Welcome to a podcast with a few members of the RetroRGB team, spread out across four countries, six times zones and a diverse set of backgrounds all contributing their unique perspective on things! This is the third of what I hope will be many podcasts with these awesome people; I realize I said that the last few times, but this was so much fun, I really want to make an effort to do these on a regular basis. Here's everyone who joined, in the order they're on-screen (I guess Discord made it alphabetical based on their screenname?): Alex: https://twitter.com/DCPi_FilmChris: https://twitter.com/Chrisfratz1Dan: https://stickfreaks.com/Rany: https://twitter.com/RanyBxRay Commend: https://www.youtube.com/raycommendBob: https://twitter.com/RetroRGBDanielle: https://twitter.com/thegirlg33kVanessa: https://twitter.com/TheVanessaira A video of this interview is also available!  More info here:  https://www.retrorgb.com/retrorgb-writers-podcast-3.html Please consider supporting this channel via monthly support services, tips, or even just by using our affiliate links to purchase things you were already going to buy anyway, at no extra cost to you: https://www.retrorgb.com/support.html T-Shirts: https://www.retrorgb.com/store.html Amazon Recommended List: https://www.amazon.com/shop/retrorgb

James From RetroHQ: Interview/Podcast
Here's an interview / podcast with James aka Saint from RetroHQ. I had a great time discussing James' career creating games spanning from modern consoles, all the way back to working with Argonaut games in the 90's! Of course, we also discussed his ROM carts and their history, as well as other general nerdiness. Interview With PC98_Audi
Here's an interview/conversation with Audi Sorlie - Writer, video game music historian and occasional DF Retro collaborator.  I had exchanged a few messages with Audi over the past year and was really looking forward to this chat to get to know him a bit better.  He has a storied history in the video game world and a pretty interesting past overall. Interview with Lon Seidman
I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on Lon Seidman’s YouTube channel, Lon.tv.  After recording our part for his video, we decided to continue recording a podcast / interview for the RetroRGB channel.  Since we were already connected to Lon’s setup, we just used that audio & video, which is why the whole thing says “lon.tv”.  Maybe consider this a swapcast / crossover podcast!?  🙂 It was a great discussion that was almost two hours long, yet still felt a bit too short;  There were plenty of topics I still wanted to hear Lon’s expert perspective on and we didn’t even talk about retro gaming as much as we’d planned.  Overall, I had a great time doing the podcast and I’d guess this might be enjoyed a bit more by content creators than retro gamers.  I think there’s a pretty large overlap of people in the retro gaming scene and people who stream, post videos, etc, so hopefully you’ll enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed being a part of it! Here’s where to find Lon: YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/user/LonSeidmanFacebook:  https://www.facebook.com/lonreviewstechTwitter:  https://twitter.com/lonseidman The video of this interview is also available on YouTube, LBRY and Bitchute (below). A few days ago, I spoke to Jose Tejada aka Jotego, the creator of some pretty amazing FPGA cores.  It was a really fun chat, with a mix of tech talk and general conversation.  I think anyone who's a fan of MiSTer, FPGA's, or just retro gaming in general might really enjoy this one!
