March 16, 2018. A number 16 seed had never beaten a number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament -- that is, until this game. Top seeded Virginia matched up against UMBC in the opening round at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The scrappy Retrievers tied the Cavaliers 21-21 at halftime and then pulled away by scoring 53 points in the second half against one of the best defenses in college basketball.

February 5, 2017. Trailing 28-3, the New England Patriots march back against the Atlanta Falcons to win Super Bowl LI, 34-28 in overtime. Some have called it the greatest Super Bowl of all time, it's certainly one for the record books that featured the largest comeback in "big game" history.

Jabby Burns, Patrick Guthrie, and Zach Wilt rewatch the original FOX broadcast and dive into all of the nuances of the game. They discuss Tom Brady's second half dominance and how the Falcons failed to execute and hold on to their 25 point lead.

May 29, 2010. On Memorial Day weekend in Miami, Roy Halladay is on the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies against Josh Johnson and the Florida Marlins. The 25,000 fans in attendance are expecting a pitcher's matchup and are curious how Halladay, in his first year with the Phillies, will perform coming off his most ineffective start of the 2010 season.

Jab, Patrick, and Zach take you through the games that hurt the most, talk about where they were when they happened, how they handled the loss, and, more importantly, how their spouses helped them recover.

Sometimes you just have to sit alone in your basement all night or punch a hole in your wall. We know the losses hurt.

June 14, 1998. In his final game with the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan hits a jump shot with 5.2 seconds remaining to secure an 87-86 victory over the Utah Jazz. Jordan and Coach Phil Jackson would retire from the NBA following the victory, though both would return down the road. The game marked the end of the dynasty in Chicago and finish a run of six championships in eight years.

Scottie Pippen was suffering through a back injury and the contest featured a physical matchup between Dennis Rodman and Karl Malone. An exhausted Michael Jordan finished the game with 45 points.

February 22, 1980. In the midst of the Cold War, the Soviet Union, a powerhouse in the world of hockey and gold medalists in 5 of the last 6 Winter Olympics, faced off against a young and scrappy surprise team, the United States of America in the medal round. In an exhibition matchup three weeks earlier, the USSR defeated the U.S. 10-3 at Madison Square Garden. 

Herb Brooks and Team USA had stunned the world so far with their performance in the winter games and now they had the chance to complete the biggest upset in sports history by taking down the Soviet Union. If they played this game ten times, the U.S. might have lost nine... but not in this game.

January 30, 2000. The Rams and Titans meet in Georgia Dome for the Super Bowl XXXIV. NFL MVP Kurt Warner throws for a Super Bowl record 414 yards while leading his powerful offense to 23 points. Titans quarterback Steve McNair rushes for a Super Bowl record 64 yards and leads his team down the field on their final drive with a chance to tie the game. With five seconds left on the clock, McNair completes a nine yard pass to Kevin Dyson who is tackled by Mike Jones on the one yard line as time expires. The Tennessee Titans fall one yard short.
