15 Dragonfly – Another Transition
The universe is running down – and yet!
We move to Platteville to serve the church there and in Erie – and it is a great blessing, until everything gets complicated.
14 Airport - Eastern Europe - Sisyphus
How to deal with people who want to know if you are saved.
We took a mission journey to Romania – and discovered how the Spirit of Christianity spans the world. Our continued travels took us to Venice, Rome, Berlin, Warsaw, and finally, to St. Petersburg, Russia. We even experienced a real Pentecost!
And finally, some very basic Truths, which apply to everyone, no matter what you might “believe.”
13 All about Nothing – Family and More – Truly Alive
Whoever invented the zero had to deal with nothing.
A turning point in our lives – a new church challenge, bad news, grief, and an ever changing world.
What does it take to be truly alive?
12 Center of Change – Behind Religion – Go Deeper
How can we make life better when so many little things are wrong?
This theology is rooted in scripture, using familiar metaphors and images to speak of Being Itself, and other things that have no words.
Why are we talking about peaches?
11 Find the Center – Under Examination – Getting in Shape
Do you know where the Center is?
Becoming an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church is not as simple as grabbing a bible and standing up in front of a crowd of people. I became a link in a 2000 year chain of clergy, which can be traced back to the Apostle Paul.
What if we had a Spiritual Bowflex?
10 The Wheel of Fortune – The Programmer – Keeping the Spirit Healthy
Life is like an out-of-control Ferris Wheel - up and down and up and down!
Nothing blends left-brain logic with right-brain art as well as computer programming. This episode plots my journey from an adequate coder to the editor of the longest running disk magazine in history.
What does Responsibility mean?
09 GPS – Visiting a New World – Moods
A GPS device is a wonderful technology – which doesn’t quite work, yet.
A mission trip to Kenya became quite an adventure. I picked up my college filmmaking skills (now on VHS video) and made a couple of serious movies.
A short bit of advice about how to get through the emotional weather of moods.
08 Change – Music Pushes Up – That Voice!
Finding the Center of your life is not just about “religion.”
Getting started in electronic music and composition wasn’t easy – since I had to write the program I wanted on my Commodore 64.
There is a Voice that tells me – and maybe you – all about all the bad things I have done.
07 Change – Behind Religion – Dreamer – Finding the Holy
The Moorman Files is expanding. This episode looks at the change we are experiencing in life.
Religion has become a bludgeon in the hands of many who seem to want you to believe the way they do. But under all religions lays a strata of truth for which we have no language. Explore this particular vision – but you don’t have to believe any of it!
Sure, you can find God in Nature. And yet, we need other people to share in this experience we call life.
06.1 Pilgrim’s March – Revisited
In 1993, when the song Pilgrim’s March appeared on Loadstar Magazine, Jeff Jones was interested in adding his touch to it. Many years have passed (29 to be exact) and Jeff took the MIDI file of my Techno Orchestra rendition and gave it his own special interpretation.
06 Pilgrim's March – Music of the SID
The music accompanying this episode hails from the ancient times of computer sound – the remarkable Sound Interface Device of the Commodore 64 computer. Here are some of the possibilities of a primitive synthesizer – and an example of what can be done in the 21st Century.
05 Cultural Interface – Collision
I don’t know where we get the idea that the church is a haven of “peace that passes understanding.” What happens within the congregation certainly passes understanding – but not exactly peacefully. Nevertheless, I did the ministry I could, and explored several of the tracks I was bound to follow. Collision is about the right word.
04 Mostly Inevitable - Mysterious Misery
The ordained ministry is unique. Perhaps that is why we talk about being Called by God. My first experience of full time work was a mix of blessing and misery. Ultimately, the misery was a form of blessing as well.
Random Time
Music - one on my four tracks - becomes shaped by the power of computer technology.
Mystical Myth
Piano lessons became playing for fun on the electronic organ. But lessons learned about how written music worked and basic music theory of chord accompaniment set the stage for later creativity.
Something Musical
As I move though retirement, I have been thinking about how I got here - especially in four areas of interest and creativity: Music, Computers, Videos, and Theology. This is the beginning of the journey.

This promo is just a glimpse at what happens when we think about our existential paradox.
