Revealing the Christian Life

We live in a time when social media is the primary means of communication, no longer snail mail. We stay connected using WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Telegram, Twitter, Tumblr, and even YouTube. These all connect us just as easily to over three (3) billion other people in the world as well. Though social media has its benefits, like keeping us connected with friends and family. It also has serious setbacks and negative impacts on our psychological and spiritual well-being. People say what they truly feel and even hide behind a fake account, persona, or avatar. It can be brutal to offer up your true beliefs or opinions when it is an unpopular one.

Do not think that your requests, troubles, or life is too small. Don't be afraid to ask God for what you want.  Ask the big things of God and ask for everything else in between. Your life matters to Him and He is never too busy to hear from you.

Remember you won't fit in with everyone and every group. You might not be Mr. or Mrs. Popular. Be encouraged because everyone will not have the same level of Christianity as you. You are chosen to walk a different path and that is OK.

Don't forget to be unstoppable today. Pursue your dreams. Seek after your goals and live your best life. Be your best self. Be encouraged, even in the face of doubt and life's trials.

Remember to include even a little thanks in your prayer time. Sometimes we forget to show our appreciation to God. We focus on asking for things. However, it is important to say thanks and not always saying gimme gimme gimme.

Life has a habit of throwing up challenges that can really test your faith. You may turn to friends and family to see how they made it through, but the challenges continue to rock your world. You might copy what you see the world doing, and some of you might even call on God and hear nothing in response. But, when you are going through these tough times, you may wonder where is God?
