In the season 2 finale of FIM, my friend and brother from way back Christopher Allen joins the pod to close out a tremendous season and set things out for the new season. Chris who’s now an Elder Elect currently serves two fledgling ministries in different capacities. We spoke about what “church heritage” meant to him, being someone who grow up in the church his entire life. We also spoke about how instrumental his grandmother, Mother Allen was in his walk with Christ. I shared the story of the first day I met Chris and the impact it had on my going forward that I never forgot and he spoke of what allowed him to be the way he was on that day. We talked about at what point did he knew he had a calling in ministry and and how significant that was. As also a worship leader he spoke on the importance of setting the right atmosphere as a worship leader. Chris who’s been married now for 7 years to his wife Rashida, talked about garnering experiences of marriage and learning things as they went on. On this the penultimate episode of season 2 of FIM, my friend and sis Taylor Barnett, who I met at the Illustrious National Treasure (IYKYK), join the pod to speak with us about her journey and experiences in ministry. Barnett who is a PK along with her sister Tiana grew apostolic in Boston before moving to Baltimore. Taylor spoke about all things growing up A PK, having a dad who played briefly in the NFL and having role model parents overall. Taylor shared the interesting story how God being faithful in providing her a job she wasn’t even trying to apply for. A member of the AKA sorority she explains where her passion came from and how her matriculation went. She helped to bring a more social media presence to her dads church and as such she spoke to the importance of churches embracing the social and technological aspect of ministry. Jucal who currently serves in the capacity as praise and worship leader at miracle open bible from "him eye deh a him knee". The 10th episode of season 2 of FIM, returned after a long break. My friend and brother David Johnson joined the pod to share with us his experiences and journey in ministry. Johnson a recently ordained pastor, worships at Love and Faith Outreach Intl Ministries, he’s also an active member of “Vision of Genesis 39” which he explains in this episode how he became apart of movement and what it’s all about. David, a father of six kids, spoke about managing fatherhood and ministry and marriage. While managing all of this, Johnson recently graduated from The University of Technology with a bachelors degree in business and computer studies. David tells us the importance of having the right supportive partner in his wife Camilla that helped him stay on top of his studies amidst everything else he had to balance. He and his wife are apart of the dynamic duo “The Johnson’s Ministry” which performs at different functions such as weddings etc. this was a great interview that you will enjoy. God bless you!!

On this episode of FIM, the infamous David Daughtry joins the pod to speak about his experiences and journey in ministry. Daughtry is the worship leader at the renown West Angeles COGIC, he’s also a recording artiste and as appeared in several movies. David spoke to us on how he started out with music and learning to sing and play from his mom. He told the story on how initially he didn’t wanted to lead worship and just wanted to be a soloist, however Dr Judith McAllister encouraged him to lead the praise team at West Angeles to which he initially decline but however came around to it and is one of the best worship leaders in gospel today. David continuously expressed that “your gift will make room for you” and is the sole reason why he has accomplished most of what he has. He explained the experience of signing with Karew Records and doing his first solo album. David shared two of his testimonies of how the lord either saved him or restored him and the impact and influence it has on him leading worship and being able to minister to people because of his experiences. Daughtry shared what the experiences was like being on set of some of the movies he’s been in and how he landed on them. On the second episode of season 2, my good friend and brother, Billy Mirander stops by the show to speak about his journey and share his experiences. Billy and myself were student leaders formerly at the Old Harbour High School back home in Jamaica, where I served as Head Boy and Billy was deputy head boy. Billy’s sudden rise to ministry gave him a platform where he developed into an international preacher and motivational speaker. He has preached the gospel all over the United States and was even featured twice on the American channel 3ABN where he shared his testimony and promoted his books. Mirander who’s also an author has written two books which he shares in this interview information about them. Billy spoke about how he met his wife Abigail, and shared a funny story of how their courtship started which blossomed into a lovely marriage with a beautiful daughter Rachel. On the last episode of season 1 of FIM, my friend and brother Damian Welsh sat down and spoke with me about Ministry and gave his views, perspectives and advices on the topics concerning matriculation in ministry. As a musician Damian also expressed how he got into music and also spoke to the importance of music ministry being done in decency and order. He also spoke about the stereotypes of musicians in the church and advised fellow musicians on how to break the stereotypes. We both shared an embarrassing moment we had in ministry as well as shared a few memories that we had in the past. Damian was great mentor and role model to me especially growing up as a young musician in the church, for many things he took me under his wing and showed me a lot of exposure that I am forever grateful for.
