Tom Lancaster, Planting a church in Switzerland, working full time whilst planting, creating a culture of honest honour & loads more...

Episode 30 is with Tom Lancaster - Tom and his wife Kati have planted a church in Zurich, Switzerland called: Kinhouse (https://www.kinhouse.online/).

In this conversation, Tom talks openly all about the journey, and how he's had to change the way he views starting a church plant (including having no live worship on a Sunday!). Tom also opens up about how he's taken the apostle Paul route of being a tent maker in creating his own finance and how that's worked out. He has a refreshing approach to what growth looks like and talks with peace and a comfortability that should encourage and spur on church builders everywhere! Enjoy as I certainly did  :)

They have led the C3 Church in Cambridge (UK) for over 28 years, now a church in various locations but one that is deeply respected in the UK and around the world. Steve and Angie open up on lots of their journey including how they have navigated the 28 years from Angie becoming a co-lead pastor with Steve (paid the same wage too!), navigating tough friendship decisions, and re-inventing their leadership on multiple occasions. Here's what happened when 3 of us confessed our sins to each other for 30 days - Pete Gardner, Matt Hooper, Rich Martin Episode 24

Here's what happened when 3 of us confessed our sins to each other for 30 days - Pete Gardner, Matt Hooper, Rich Martin Episode 24

This episode is an insight into the journey 3 friends took in October 2021 – Matt Hooper, Pete Gardner and Rich Martin. With decades of friendship in the bank, we decided to call each other on a WhatsApp call every day for 30 days and confess our sins to each other. We wanted to see what would happen – we had all read and heard about other people doing something similar, we all had a desire to be more open and transparent but none of us had ever done a 30-day journey like this before. We essentially wanted to see the scripture James 5:16 in action:

James 5:16 (NIV)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

It’s honest, raw, and was really good fun to produce! I hope it helps you in your journey. More info at: www.richmartin.co.uk

Anthony Delaney - Mega Church, Missional Church and Micro Church, which one works?

Anthony Delaney - Mega Church, Missional Church and Micro Church, which one works?

In this podcast...

Anthony unpacks in a raw and honest way the journey he has been on from building a 'Mega Church' model to where he now finds his churches in more a micro church model. His insight and findings are thought-provoking and his way of talking church building methods is inspiring! I LOVED chatting to him and I know you will love listening.

A bit about Anthony...

Anthony is married to Zoe, and have three grown up kids and 4 grand kids. He was a police officer in the centre of Manchester for ten years before going into church leadership in various places around the nation.

Anthony leads Ivy Church; they have become a network of churches meeting in various places including a nightclub, an arts centre, a warehouse, a sports centre and even a church building ;)

Anthony teaches for Westminster Theological Centre and has twice been ‘highly commended’ by Chester University’s External Examiner.

Anthony also leads for NewThing recruiting, encouraging and training leaders of reproducing churches as part of a dream to plant 10,000 new churches across the globe.

His books and resources now published worldwide aim to help people find their way back to God and live life to the full.
