Today I had the great pleasure of talking with Jodi Calahoo Stonehouse, MLA for Edmonton-Rutherford in the Alberta Legislature.
We started, and finished, talking about Kiwanis, covering a number of other areas inbetween.
All in all, a great and thoughtful conversation.
Métis Art - A Candid Discussion With Krista Leddy
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Métis artist, Krista Leddy, who specializes in beaded artwork, in a great discussion about the various aspects of Métis art.
Krista is well-known as the Beaded Chickadee, and she can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter ("X"), and Tic Tok.
Contemplating De-Cluttering - What To Do?
There comes a time for most of us that we realize that maybe, just maybe, we have too much stuff. Perhaps we're becoming empty-nesters, moving to a smaller place, or moving out of the country. Also we become older and don't want to leave a house full of stuff for our kids to figure out.
Whatever the reason, there will be some time when we have at least contemplate cleaning house, de-cluttering.

It's been a while since my last podcast, so am starting 2023 by talking about why that was so, and looking to the future.

When Do We Fire Up The Furnace?
Here in Western Canada an annual occurrence is that Fall comes, the temperature drops and becomes necessary to heat our homes. This process is achieved by firing up the furnace.
