A really interesting podcast today as I interview Paul Crane - Collabo Head of English. Find out about Paul's background, his experiences in Japan, his views on "lifelong learning", and whether he thinks education should be free or not. We also find out that Richard and Paul have a lot in common - they even studied at the same university! Listen and find out. Thank you for listening.
At last - our first student guest is on this week's Collabo Podcast. Yoshika studied abroad and came back to Japan recently. She was kind enough to take time out from job hunting to talk to us about her time outside of Japan. In this interview she discusses her goals before leaving, the positive experiences she had, and what she would do differently if she had the same chance again. Find out where she went and what happened while she was there. There's some really great advice in here for those hoping to study abroad, so it's well worth listening to the end. Thank you Yoshika!
Exciting times for the Podcast as we get our first Japanese guest - Fujinuma-san (Misa). Many of you will know Fujinuma-san from her job as research assistant and from the excellent support that she gives to students and teachers. Listen, as she talks about her surprising English ability in high school, her experiences of studying abroad, and finally what she thinks about the idea of free education. Thank you for listening.
