  • We're going to do some Battlefield of the Mind live doing a live Q and A. I have a few things I'd like to share that help some people out. If you guys got questions, feel free to jump on. Otherwise, I got some pretty cool testimonial stuff that happened this morning.
  • Don't judge people unless you want to be judged. It's not our job to judge. All we can do is love and help support people through whatever it is. If we're using the Bible as a weapon you are not a Christ follower.
  • Gosh, I was a wild one in my early 20s. And now I can barely even hang out at one. You used to be wild. Now you're a Snorlax. This is where people got to be careful if they win.
  • Chris: Brett says women don't want the nice guy. Women do. How many guys respect simps? What is a simp? Chris: When it comes to hypergamy, it gets tough. It's extremely rare for a woman to give a man the same way.
  • Willie: Women want a bad boy, an alpha. She wants Beauty and the Beast. Now she's getting older, and she's not interested. She's no longer finding cursed princes, she's finding broken men. It really is about knowing who you really are.
  • Joshua says his youngest will be a senior next year. He is dating a senior. Not sure how that will work out.
  • We're giving the first 100 people a chance to learn how to beat anxiety. Information is up for sale on our website.

10. Men, Vulnerability, and the Power of Allies: A Conversation with Andrew from Cape Town

In this episode:

- The team is what wins. It is incorrect to think that we are stronger because we can do it alone. As a man and as a team, as a sports team, you become stronger.

- Men can be empathetic to other men. This is something that gets missed by society. Who taught you talking about your feelings is not a good idea?

- For me, vulnerability goes against how I operate. I don't like to open myself up to people. Has anything bad ever happened when you shared your feelings before?

- Rick: Marcus Aurelius said, I reserve the right to change my mind with new information. He says it's better to have allies, people that you can trust, people you can be vulnerable with. Rick says the battlefield of the mind is the hardest fight that we have.

9. Overcoming Anxiety and Embracing Your Brilliance

Episode summary:

- I tried meditation, I tried journaling, gratitude, journals, breathing techniques, everything to calm my nervous system. And then I just thought about everything you said and thought about how would I deal with it. Do you believe anxiety is unbeatable?

- I think what really holds me back is I have difficulties with letting myself getting close to people. I experienced a lot of bullying and hurtful situations in the past. But I still can't get to know people better and let them closer to me.

- Now you have to look at people and challenge their judgments " Find your tribe. There is a place for you where it's highly valued.

- I do not base my value on the opinions of people who do not have dreams, goals or ambitions. When you're with other people that also reach for the stars, they get impressed and they cheer you on. Only people who don't get it. I give a lot more grace to people now.

- If you're made for the sky, birds that are not, will try to clip your wings. If you do, you'll be cursed to stay on the ground and live your life as a chicken. There's a choice you have to make.

- Oftentimes, we're trying to control things that are not ours to control. The fastest way to be able to get things done would have a degree of surrender.

- When you're going through an existential moment, a rock bottom moment, this is a wake-up call that's necessary for your evolution. Can you surrender to the plan and go, what am I supposed to be learning, not controlling? The answers are around us.

- What are you afraid of? Failure? Well, we don't even know what we're scared of. There are four factors that people really forget about themselves. We've got problem-solving, creativity, resourcefulness, and a support system.

- Are you setting yourself up for failure? Failure means letting people down, or failure means I get triple XP and I can help people more. Let's gather all of the failures and apply those to the path I know feels correct.
