Larry Fink, CEO of investment firm BlackRock, is facing backlash over a comment admitting his company would "force behaviors" on inclusion efforts, amid a rise in pushback against companies making environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) investments on behalf of everyday Americans.
While sitting alongside former AmEx CEO Kenneth I. Chenault in a resurfaced 2017 New York Times interview, Fink revealed BlackRock would "force behaviors" on "gender or race" and threatened impacts to compensation if diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) standards weren't met.
"Behaviors are gonna have to change and this is one thing were asking companies. You have to force behaviors, and at BlackRock we are forcing behaviors," the CEO said.

Pastors Summary – Texas Transactional Currency SB 2334 & HB4903
In Ephesians 4:11, the Apostle Paul included within the responsibilities for ministers’ evangelism, teaching (making 24/7 disciples) and shepherding (or protecting) the flock God has entrusted to our care. First and foremost, I want my members to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Second, I want them to be 24/7 Christians and glorify God in ALL that they do. Finally, I want them to enjoy good health, provide for their families and to enjoy the blessings of safety, security, and liberty.
God expected his people to work hard, provide for their own families, be compassionate to those with genuine need and to be honest in business. The use of “unjust weights and measures” was an abomination.
Historically, we know that inflation contributed to the collapse of the Roman Empire as what began as pure gold and silver coins were debased with metal alloys allowing the Caesars to increase their power by inflating their supply of money. Sadly, this action devalued existing currency held by its citizens eventually leading to their poverty.
We are experiencing the devastating effects of inflation in America today with the poorest among us suffering the most.

According to a recent CNBC report, 64% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck1. Those who have the means, and an investment portfolio can hedge against inflation to some degree, but 64% of Americans cannot.
By passing Texas Transactional Currency Bills SB 2334 and HB4903, every American, regardless of economic class, could have a portion of their assets invested in gold as a protection against inflation, while still enjoying the same convenient access to their funds through use of a debit card.
Rather than having a paycheck directly deposited in a bank with the proceeds held in dollars, one’s paycheck could be direct deposited in the Texas Depository with the proceeds held in gold. With modern technology, any debit card transaction instantly processes and updates the amount of gold one holds on deposit rather than dollars in an account.
The State of Texas could increase state revenues and possibly lower the current tax burden on its citizens from the typical 1-2% transactional fee currently charged by card service providers. This is not an additional cost. These transaction fees are already paid. With the Texas Depositary, the State of Texas and its citizens would reap the benefits.
This act, already secured as a state right within the US Constitution, would be blessing for every individual worldwide that chose to use it and a windfall for the State of Texas.

Jesus's parables clearly dealt economic concerns such as farming, shepherding, private property ownership, profit, investing capital, borrowing money, debt, stewardship, hiring employees, the principle of a worker being worthy of his wage, workers earning their wages, etc.
The Old Testament outlined God’s principles of private property ownership:
• Each family could own land, but it remains in the possession of the original family
• Even when the land was sold off to pay debts, it was returned to the original family every 50 yrs during the year of Jubilee
• God recognized the right of each landowner to benefit from the farming of their land but instructed them to allow the poor to glean from the corners of their fields (Lev 23:22)
• God established rules for Israelites to lend their own money to others
• The Book of Ruth is a perfect example of private property ownership with the story of Ruth and Boaz
In Mk 10, Jesus told the Rich young ruler to “sell what he owned” as a test of his devotion.
In Mt 20, in the parable of the workers in the vineyard, Jesus talked about employers, employees, and the right of employers to hire who they please at a wage they thought fair.
In Mt 25, in the parable of the talents, Jesus spoke of property owners, private property, investments capital, stewardship responsibility, profit, financial bonuses, laziness and its personal consequences.
People often erroneously teach that Acts 5 encourages socialism when members of the early church were selling their belongings to help support fellow believers. It must be noted that no one was required to sell anything or to give away all of their belongings. The sin of Ananias and Saphira was not that they did not give away all of the proceeds of their property sale, but that they were lying about what they gave to make themselves to appear more generous than they were. In fact, each person could do whatever they chose with their property. In Acts 5:4, Peter said, “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control?”
In 2 Cor 9:7, Paul taught that each believer should give as they “decide in their own heart, not reluctantly o r under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
In 2 Thess 3:10, Paul taught that no one should expect everyone else to provide a living for them when he said, “if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat.”
Paul went as far as to teach in 1 Tim 5:8 that if a man does not earn his own living and take care of his own family, “he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
In 1 Tim 5, Paul taught that even widows could not expect the church to provide a living for them if they were young enough to remarry, if they had family who could take care of them, or if they were not faithful in ministry through the church.
