Neuroplasticity is the reason we’re able to recover function after a stroke, learn new skills, and reprogram our thoughts. It’s the key to behavior change and breaking free from past patterns that keep us feeling stuck.

This week's podcast is super special because I am going to talk about PCOS, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I’m going to make myself vulnerable and share with you my personal healing story.  I feel so proud of sharing my PCOS reversal story and what I did with all of you, because if I can do it, then everybody else can too.

PCOS is a hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age. More specifically, there is an excess build-up of a group of hormones called androgens, but studies show that insulin resistance and abnormal gonadotropin dynamics also play a role.  The hormonal imbalance can cause many fluid-filled cysts to form on the ovaries, which can cause a whole gamut of symptoms.

PCOS is one of the most common conditions to affect the menstrual cycle and reproductive health, yet it’s also frequently misunderstood and misdiagnosed. But I am proof that by removing the interference, you allow your body to self-heal and even reverse your condition.

In this solo episode I talk about Insulin Resistance, the root causes of insulin resistance, lifestyle changes to help reverse it, and supplements to support healthy blood sugar levels.


Insulin resistance is when cells in your muscles, fat, and liver don’t respond to insulin, which is the hormone that allows sugar to enter cells. That means sugar cannot effectively enter the cells to be burned for energy. Because of this, blood sugar starts to creep higher, especially after eating carbohydrates or sweets. Over time, your blood sugar levels go up.


Insulin resistance syndrome includes a group of problems like obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes. According to the American Diabetes Association, it could affect as many as 1 in 3 Americans.

EFT also known as tapping, is a combination of ancient Chinese wisdom/medicine and modern psychology. EFT applies to everybody and everything. It's a psychological acupressure. With EFT we can change and transform the way we feel about anything. Physical and emotional experiences that happened long ago or happening right now and anxieties /worries that are future based can all be worked upon in an effective, scientifically proven way of focusing on the negative thought/ feeling/ experience and tapping different meridian points on our body, such as:

  • the side of the hand (the karate chop point)
  • the top of the head
  • the eyebrow (where the hair starts near the nose)
  • the outside of the eye
  • under the eye
  • under the nose
  • under the mouth
  • the collarbone point (a little bit under our actual collarbone)
  • the under the arm point (where a bra strap would come around the body for women)

These points give an energetic overhaul to our body that allows us to clear energetic blockages. If we have any kind of disease emotionally or physically, there is an energetic blockage associated with that disease. The combination of tapping and talking through the negative feelings and emotions allows us to break through these energetic blockages, feel better, reduce stress and lower cortisol levels up to 43% in just 10 minutes!
