The Lefty’s Lounge

The annual CT Masters will begin tomorrow from Fairview Farms in Harwinton, CT. Lots to discuss, including the state of everyone's game early in the season, power rankings, and storylines to follow! 

It's Masters week and Tiger is officially playing. We get into his chances at winning and other storylines, including J.T., Spieth, Rory and others. We also make our picks and we all have one person in common. 

The trio is back for a pre-masters pod. We talk Tiger walking 18 at Augusta, Scottie's hot few months, and the CT Masters in only a week away. Buckle up, it's a long one. 

Ronnie and John are back in the lounge to discuss some of recent news on Phil Mickelson and the reaction from the rest of the tour. They also talk the Genesis Open and Joaquin Niemann's win from wire to wire at Riviera. 

The boys return for the first time in 2022 and the whole gang is here. We may have had a hiatus, but the golf world didn't. We catch up om everything going on around the golf world and discuss what to expect this year. Don't hold your breath, not a ton of expectations to kick off the new year. 

We have a lot of shout outs to start the pod today as many listeners are accomplishing some great golf milestones. We also talk Olympics and touch on the 3M. It's our bye week so give us a break on this one. 

Ronnie and John head down to Darien, CT for the Connecticut Open Media day at the Country Club of Darien. Cory Muller, head pro and competitor joins the show along with defending champ Max Theordorakis and PGA Championship qualifier, Pete Ballo.

It's the week after The Open Championship so we talk a lot about the Champion Golfer of the Year, Colin Morikawa. But before that, we discuss our current games, Frank's big announcement and we have a NPI visit this Friday. We also get into the entire Championship at Royal St. Georges, Bryson looking like a fool, Ryder Cup, and the real winner of the weekend, Seamus Powers. 

John and Ronnie discuss previous rounds, including a low round from Krafick. We also preview the CT Open at The Country Club of Darien and discuss some other headlines in the golf world. Also, we preview the British Open and make some picks. 

Ronnie and John dive into the Shanwee weekend and all the golf they got to play over the weekend. The boys caps continue to drop their caps. We also discuss the KPMG and the Travelers and potentially have a big announcement coming.

We got everything we wanted at Torrey Pines this past weekend. We discuss Jon Rahm's first major championship, Louis Oosthuizen with another second place finish, Bryson's debacle, and so much more. 

We also visited Coach Pete at NPI this week to dial in our games as Krafick and Ronnie head to Shawnee for their annual 72 hole tournament. Ronnie finishes the episode with something he's never done in a round before.

We have a long one today. We dive into the PGA Championship. We talk Phil and the unprecedented success he had at Kiawah. They also discuss Rory's win, PIP and what's coming up in the Lounge.

Golf is back in the Northeast and the boys are back on the course. Deuce and Dante talk about their rounds this past week and a low number is on the board early. The group discusses the Dell Technologies Match Play, Billy Horschel's win and his slow play, Kevin Na, and the chatter about Match Play being a major. The energy is high, moods are good and golf is back.

Ronnie and Frank "Deuce" chat with Ryan Hoffman, Director, Tournament Operations, Rules and Competition with the Connecticut State Golf Association. They discuss what the CSGA does for CT golf, how Covid-19 has altered the tournament schedule, and what's to come in 2021.

The guys also get into the the At&t Pebble Beach Pro-Am and discuss Jordan Spieth, Daniel Berger amongst others.
