It's 2020 and we've got spiders on the brain! We're gonna dig into the new Morbius trailer, the ongoing saga of the New Mutants movie that did and did not exist at the same time, plus so many rumors to speculate upon. Plus, we talk about the future of this show and our new creative alliance with the Marvel Movie Minute. Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got until it's gone. 

The Fall of The Spider continues with the farthest Peter has fallen yet, 2007's Spider-Man 3. Toby, Sam and company say goodbye to Spider-Man, not that they knew it at the time. From Extreme Goblin to Sandy Sanderson, the staggering amount of coincidences to the graceful art of jazz dancing, we're going to talk about it all and at length! Plus our suggestions for fixing the movie that no one needed to hear and a better final line for Harry Osborne. Let's get radical! 

Big moves at Marvel TV, a deeper dive into the Black Widow trailer, some new Avengers deleted scenes courtesy of Disney Plus and more as we give you our last news episode of 2019.

The Fall Of The Spider begins!

Let's go back, way back before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was even a dream of a dream, back when Kevin Feige was still a personal assistant working with Richard Donner on the X-Men movies and Robert Downey Jr was...not in a good place. Yes, it's time we take a look at Sam Raimi's classic film SPIDER-MAN. We discuss why it took until the year 2000 to get a Spidey movie off the ground, what holds up and what didn't age well, and get into some deep background on the Spider-Man lore. From organic web shooters to kissing in the rain, we discuss it all (except Macy Gray) in this first part of our new mini-series-within-the-series. 

In this episode, we learn with great star power must also come great responsibilities, just because a book has a Marvel and Disney logo on it doesn't mean it's any good, that sometimes even behind the scenes featurettes can be lying liars, we present a list for those who like animated super heroes and plenty more.

In this episode, we discuss the continuing fallout over custody of our poor Peter Parker, a way for anyone to read comics online for free (legally!) and discuss some wild ideas about who should play Moon Knight and Magneto. All this, plus can Deadpool work in a PG-13 MCU context? We'll talk about it all. 

In which we discuss all the crazy new Marvel news that was revealed at Disney's D23 Expo. We'll get into the sneak peeks at Black Widow and Eternals, discuss the madness that lies at the heart of WandaVision, get in-depth about the game changing nature of Disney Plus and wildly speculate about what those three new series will bring to the MCU. All this, plus plenty of asides about topics like the writing of Mark Waid and the strange history of John Walker.  It's late, but it's still good. 

Just as we were about to upload, the huge Spidey/Sony/Marvel/Disney bombshell hit, so we rushed to the mics to provide some insight and commentary. So you'll hear that first, followed by the episode we had previously recorded before the dramatic turn of events. We'll be talking the future of the Spider-Man Homecoming series, some tidbits about a Disney + series, a little sidebar about the Thunderbolts and more! 

The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been revealed, and it's no longer just cinematic! In Hall H at San Diego Comic Con, Kevin Feige and an all star cast showed us a glimpse of the stories to come in the MCU. From Strange crossovers to animated adventures, refrigerator fonts to bromances, we'll talk about it all! Plus everyone's favorite: rampant, wild speculation about the future. 

At last, a new Marvel movie to talk about and a chance to break out the classic format (if we remember it). Peter goes to Europe and trouble follows him. But don't worry, our brand new hero and total 100% good guy Mysterio is here to save the day. I can't see how that will go badly. From the new "Multiverse" to the history of the 616, the brilliance of Jake Gyllenhaal to the genius of Martin Starr, we're going to talk about it all. And some wild speculation about where we go from here, including a fan casting you won't be able to unhear. All this, and very little else, on our latest stop along the Road to Infinity! 

We've come to the end of a phase, and there's so much to talk about. We discuss Marvel life after Spider-Man: Far From Home, check in on how close the Avengers are to conquering Avatar, discuss Marvel in the theme parks (including a little history on Islands of Adventure) and more. In the second half of the episode, we get into the Agents of SHIELD's Window Of Opportunity. Will this episode turn Rob around on Simmons? Spoiler: probably not. 

Editor's note: we had some tech issues with this one. The first half, one of the hosts sound like they are broadcasting from the bottom of a well. The second half features some really fun static that comes and goes. Neither are deal breakers, and both issues have been fixed in our next recording.  Consider yourself forewarned.

As we go, we'll be talking about non-MCU Marvel Movies, Agents of SHIELD, the Netflix shows and more. But we'll also be compiling the relevant Marvel news of the moment and discussing them, which is what we have here. From the box office rise of ENDGAME, to the new AVENGERS game trailer and some wild speculation on SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, we'll talk about it all in this episode. 

Here there be spoilers! We come to the end of something and the beginning of something else. A movie of this size demands an episode of great magnitude, but you won't need to take a bathroom break in the middle of this one. You can just hit pause. On this Valentine's Day, we discuss a movie that doesn't get a lot of love: IRON MAN 2! Our first proper sequel, with Tony having to take on Mickey Rourke, in full Jack Sparrow mode. Metal! Madness! Marvel meddling! This sequel has it all (unfortunately).
