Amy Breen on Writing, Creativity & Being Productive Through Covid-19

Amy Breen on Writing, Creativity & Being Productive Through Covid-19

I had the pleasure of speaking with an amazing and vibrant woman today who I have known for quite a while now.  She is making waves as an author and has used this bizarro period to be incredibly productive and follow her bliss!

Amy lives in Dublin City, Ireland. She doesn't own a Kindle and loves Thai food. Amy is one part industrial designer, one part artist, one part content writer, one part career coach, one part blogger, one part hit & run survivor - too many parts?   Amy wishes she invented the Rubik's cube & it keeps her up at night that she didn't think of it first. Amy ate a deep-fried scorpion in Bangkok, has tasted paint from the bucket (not bad) & accidentally killed her tropical fish.

If Amy is not writing or coaching or thinking about ET's landing on earth, you can find her singing Fleetwood Mac whilst out on her bike, swimming clumsily in the pool or gorging on Venezuelan food.

Amy is a qualified personal development coach &  mentor to all age groups internationally and locally.   With a BA in Industrial design with business, a Diploma in Executive Coaching & 6 years’ experience as a Learning & Development Manager in the HR industry, she founded The Dublin Coaching Programme in 2018 which she runs online.

Amy has independently published two books on amazon, one is a collection of stories and poems and one is an affirmations book that focuses on your stability and energy. Amy is super keen to have a publisher behind her on her projects as she really wants to improve the lives of people and younger adults and prepare them for the future.

Amy is agent-less and is unsure where to start and wants to prove herself and add to the world as a writer and coach. Amy's motto in life is: 'We are whatever we feed ourselves, both mentally and physically - if we eat, think and act negatively or see ourselves as a victim, we will receive negative things in return. Being kind and patient with ourselves is something that we have full control over. We cannot control the world outside - but we most definitely can control our reactions & thoughts around things that happen and live and love ourselves responsibly. Living in the here and now is all that counts and the past is gone - there is no point in revisiting the past because there is nothing new to find there'

Her new book 'Coaching Through COVID & Beyond' is out now! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08DSH78M2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Coaching+through+covid&qid=1595967539&sr=8-1
