Ep. 21 - Back From Holiday Hiatus
Hey, guys. I'm back from an inadvertent holiday hiatus and talking about rediscovering my passion for music. BandLab has been taking all my attention lately, but has been a fantastic creative outlet. Tune in to hear a new song I recently wrote and recorded.

Ep. 20 - To Each Their Own
After a very healing and long overdue conversation with my father on Thanksgiving Day, I was reminded that everyone has their reasons for doing things. I believe most people are doing the best they can to navigate through life with the cards that they were dealt. In this episode, I touch on that idea a bit. I also introduce a newly produced theme song, as well as a song I lyrically wrote to accompany a fantastic musical track by Niccolo Yarael from BandLab.

Ep. 19 - More Hilariously Bad Online Reviews
Ridiculous TripAdvisor reviews, a $25 gift card giveaway, a few reviews for this podcast, a 'could not be more true' inspirational quote, and a piece of music that I'm in the process of writing. Bon appetit!

Ep. 18 - *NEW & IMPROVED* Hilariously Bad Online Reviews
Online reviews can very helpful. People share their good and bad experiences publicly so that others can get a nice idea of what's going on at particular businesses and/or establishments. Courtesy of Yelp and TripAdvisor, I share some of the worst and funniest reviews out there in these segments. You'll also hear me explain how this podcast will be a little different from now on. I hope you enjoy the upgrades.

Ep. 17 - The Big Brother I Never Wanted
Google is a creeper, all of the three-letter agencies know when you poop, and English is very hard. Special guest appearance by Coach Hines.

Ep. 16 - Confessions
I say it a few times in the following segment, but this one was a bit terrifying for me to publish. Anyone who knows me personally knows that I'm not keen on being vulnerable. This episode is a big, scary step towards getting past that. In the next 26 minutes, you'll hear me open up and talk about my childhood, the relationship I had with my father as a kid, how that has drastically changed, and the impression that my past has made on the present. I also candidly speak about my failed relationships, my love for being alone, and what recent event inspired this particular thought process. Enjoy.

Ep. 15 - Ethics Lesson Wrapped in a Fart Joke: The Realities of Parenting
This particular phrase was stolen directly from Ted Danson. It is something that I heard in an episode of one of my favorite podcasts (Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard), that not only describes the iconic actor's NBC sitcom, but also kind of describes parenting. At least for me, anyway. In this short episode, I share some of the not so picture perfect realities of parenting.

Ep. 14 - Competition Proposal
ln this 15 minute segment, I propose a new perspective regarding competition. I have experienced tremendous self growth competing with myself, instead of competing with others. It's so easy to get caught up in the rat race and lose track of the big picture; of being a decent human, even. Tune in to hear some ideas on how to continually make forward progress. Special thanks to @yesyoucancallmeal for the inspiration on this one. Also, thank you to Faith, Derek, and the rest of my FitBit buddies for pushing me to better myself physically every day.

Ep. 13 - Dad to Dad with Curtis Hawley (Poop Enchilada)
As you can probably tell from the title, I introduce a new installment called Dad to Dad in this episode. I will be including more dads, and their stories, on the podcast. I decided to kick it all off with a very cool cucumber of a guy. This dude is super chill, a little wacky, an AMAZING musician, and a great father. Tune in for some guaranteed shenanigans.

Ep. 12 - Random Ramblings, Part 2
What do new installments, fast-talking, Stockholm Syndrome, dubstep, a plant-based doctor, Netflix original movies, Willem Dafoe, and energy drinks all have in common? Pretty much nothing, other than all being jammed into the following two segments. My original idea for episode 12 got a little derailed, so I had to improvise with more random ramblings. Please make sure that your seat backs and tray tables are in the upright and locked position, and buckle up, because it's go time.

Ep. 11 - Random Ramblings of a 35 Year Old Dad
Just as the title suggests, this one is chock-full of recent randomness. I touch on what I've been up to lately, including what podcast I've been listening to, what movie just blew my mind, and how and why the DMV relates to the afterlife.

Ep. 10 - The Pursuit of Truth: Information, Not Affirmation
I find great triumph in patience and research. There's a certain confidence behind coming to a conclusion, or forming a new opinion, based on unbiased data. Gathering information from various sources and perspectives, carefully sorting through it all, and then feeling well informed...that's a recipe for success! We as a society often approach certain subjects seeking affirmation. I strive to be open-minded, and challenge old beliefs and outdated understandings. In this episode, I offer suggestions on how you can do the same.

Ep. 9 - That Ugly, Yellow, No-Good V Word
I implore you all to be open-minded for the next 30 minutes, while I make a bit of a confession, share my experiences with veganism, as well as some cold, hard facts about how it has trended in the U.S., and other places around the globe. Included is a partial list of confirmed celebrity vegans. Thank you in advance. "Veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products, particularly in diet, and an associated philosophy that rejects the commodity status of animals. A follower of the diet or the philosophy is known as a vegan." [Wikipedia]

Ep. 8 - Cinematic Adventures
I'm a bit of a cinephile, and feeling compelled to share my passion of motion pictures, I gathered a list of preferred films from some family and friends for you all. Tune in as I share the entirety of that list, along with a few honorable mentions. I offer suggestions on how to procure some of these titles, and urge all of you to revisit these classics!

Ep. 7 - Mental Clarity & Physical Health
A two segment episode highlighting the correlations between physical health and mental well-being. I also explain some highlights from a study I discovered on how something as simple as a daily walking regimen can VASTLY improve your overall condition, reduce the risk of certain diseases, and likely increase your lifespan.

Ep. 6 - Social Anxieties (with special guests)
This episode is a great example of how my A.D.D. often times takes the wheel. One of my alter egos, Gunter Fahrenheit, introduces the first segment, and then we hear from some of my friends and family about their struggles with social anxiety. We also share some of the techniques we all use to try to overcome these sometimes crippling feelings. I hope you like!

Ep. 5 - Daddy/Daughter Discussions (interviews)
An impromptu (and by far the longest to date) episode that I was overly excited to record. I "interview" both of my daughters, one on one, to give you a feel for our relationship(s) and how we typically interact. We talk about executing tasks together, our collective love for music, Steve Perry, Hugh Jackman, musicals, our group dynamic, and what we all have in common. Enjoy!

Ep. 4 - Random Acts Of Kindness (#carlees34)
Grab some popcorn, sit back, relax, and enjoy hearing about some fantastically selfless gestures by a wonderful human being. Hopefully, you'll find yourself as inspired as I am by Ms. Carlee McDot.

Ep. 3 - F*!&@$g cursing and $h!t (explicit)
Sorry for the wonky music. Regardless, please enjoy my foul mouth and wonderful experience with Michael from New York (not New Jersey).

Ep. 2 - The Optimist vs. The Realist vs. The Pessimist
First off, apologies for the weird background music volume elevations. Sometimes this process has a mind of it's own. Anyway, here's a little insight on optimism, realism, and pessimism, and how to be more aware of your attitude in the moment. I share some of the "hacks" that I use to set myself up for success, obtain and keep a positive mindframe, and how to try to avoid a pessimistic perspective. Enjoy.

Ep. 1 - Parenting Is Hard, Dude!
In this episode, I speak about my daughters, and their unique personalities, as well as share some our recent experiences together. My personal worries/parenting struggles, and even a few "bullseyes", are also jammed into this one. Enjoy.
