Revive Ministries

By Robert Colón
Revive Ministries is essentially under the medical missionary umbrella focusing on emotional and mental well-being, although we do not proselytize. We started podcasting in October 2019. With 150+ hours of content, we listened to many stories of recovery and learned many lessons to move forward. We have a focused series each month, like "It's Okay to Fall," "It's Not The End... Finding Hope," "Processing Our Pain: Tribute to PTSD Month," "Healing Our Community: Tribute to National Wellness Month," and several others.

Revive Ministries Podcast Presents“Securing Our Value.” with Jasmine
Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast. Today we continue the discussion of securing our value regarding our overall wellness. I have heard a lot of times in mental health that there is no quick fix and most treatment is very individualized, which is true from my own experience. However, the same can be said in physical health and overall health. Value plays a deep role in a client’s life in getting the help one needs. Today I have a good friend Jasmine joining me and sharing her insight on this topic as we pay tribute to National Wellness Month. Disclaimer: if you are in crisis please seek appropriate professional help immediately, the crisis hotline is the USA is 1-800-273-8255 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline I encourage all those listening to find what is available in your area. A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. "If 2020 has taught us nothing else, it has shown us that the biggest source of modern traumas may be in our own back pockets.  Due to our smart devices, we can become so immersed in traumatic information that we can feel like a leaf while the media is the wind.  Acclimated Restorative Coaching (ARC) offers a solution to regaining control of your life while still being informed.  ARC is a talk-therapy/life-coaching technique that was created by an actual TV-news insider, and is the world's first mental-health approach to be designed from inside the media looking out, rather than the outside looking in.  This book teaches behind-the-scenes media techniques, how overexposure to them can affect the brain, and best yet; how to find happiness again!  The book is perfect for anyone and everyone, especially workers in the health industry and media workers themselves!  ARC - it's time to put mind over media!" Welcome to Revive Ministries Podcast, today we continue our talk about “Remembering Our Wellness” a Tribute to Mental Health Awareness Month. Welcome to Revive Ministries, this month we are “Remembering our Wellness” which I feel sheds light on the fact that we as humankind have an amazing ability to forget from my experience. “Remembering Our Wellness ”Tribute to Mental Health Awareness Month with Richard and Michael
Welcome to Revive Ministries, today we begin the discussion on “Remembering Our Wellness” a Tribute to Mental Health Awareness Month. We as human nature have an incredible capacity to forget. The Highs and Lows in life can produce moments both good and bad. Mental Health is always near and dear to me since I myself am a peer living with Mental Illness for about 2 decades. Today we have 2 guests with us today, new to the podcast we have Richard Marquis. Disclaimer: if you are in crisis please seek appropriate professional help immediately, the crisis hotline is the USA is 1-800-273-8255 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline It begins with the people, each face, each family that is attached to those faces. Like I said in the Revive Ministries Blog “We are not islands; pain, loss, fear, and shame are things that uniquely pass all boundaries and cultures, and (unfortunately) it is relatable.” Why do we care about Mental Health? It’s the people, and I feel that is the best way to remember this month.
