In this episode, I share my path from being a supporter of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to being a supporter of Marjorie Taylor Greene, the uber mama bear congresswoman from Georgia.

AOC polices lead to a disordered hell scape and MTG's policies lead to a healthy patriotic republic.

How in the heck did I go from AOC to MTC?

In this episode, I explain how.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan Suck at Ukraine War Funding Propaganda (#190, 22 Feb. 2024)

In this episode, I explain why Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney absolutely suck at making arguments to support Ukraine War propaganda.

Finally, I challenge them to answer one question that they have never answered relating to this supposed existential threat posed by Russia.

That failure dramatically demonstrates why they are just con men seeking to make a buck.

High school debate team could crush these guys!!

Rogan and Gillis - We Be Bombin' (#185, 9 Feb. 2024)

Just listened to awesome podcast featuring comedians, Joe Rogan, Shane Gillis, and some guy named Matt McCusker who also is a comedian.

They had a segment on bombing in front of audiences, those shows where everyone thought they sucked or weren't funny.

It got me to thinking....

Is that what makes Rogan, Rogan?

This podcast is for everyone too afraid to suck.

On Steven Pressfield and the Creative Practice (#185, 8 Feb. 2024)

This episode is on Author Steven Pressfield and the Practice of Creative Work.

I learned about Pressfield through Joe Rogan's love of Pressfield's book, The War of Art. Rogan keeps a ton of copies to give to anyone doing creative work or wanting to making living doing creative work.

Pressfield worked as a writer for 17 years before he sold his first screen play.

He waited another 10 before he published his first book.

How'd he do it?

Through developing a creative practice of consistently doing the work.

This episode is about Pressfield and the practice of doing creative work.

Here are two other books that I discuss in the podcast:

1. Turning Pro by Steven Pressfield and 2. The Practice by Seth Godin.

On Trent Shelton, Ground Hog Day, and Consistency (#183, 2 Feb. 2024)

On Trent Shelton, Ground Hog Day, and Consistency (#183, 2 Feb. 2024)

It's Ground Hog Day!

Just listened to the most amazing podcast, "The Trent Shelton Podcast." In his most recent podcast, he interviewed a dynamic entrepreneur named Marquise Hill about the gift of adversity.

It's a great show. Tune in! What jumped out to me was Marquise's statement on consistency, showing up day and day out. He called it the "cheat code to success."

In this episode, I connect Marquise' theme with the 1993 Ground Hog Day movie.

Consistency is the key to getting out of the misery loop and on your way to doing what you were meant to do.

Loved this one!!

Try the Huberman Sigh to Stop Stress and Anxiety (#178 17 Jan. 2024)

In this episode, I cover the Huberman Sigh, a breath work technique popularized by Dr. Andrew Huberman, a Stanford professor of Neuroscience. It's an ancient technique to act as a kill switch for stress, especially when you're feeling totally overwhelmed or anxious. Huberman did not invent this nor did he do the first research, but he popularized this through his excellent Huberman Lab Podcast.

Hence, I am coining this as Huberman Sigh.

Tune in dudes!!

Alcohol and the Cherry Face (#176 12 Jan. 2024)

In episode, I explore the relationship between alcohol and a red face, how I learned about it, and what I did to reverse it.

Appearance is one of the many things people don't think about in connection with alcohol consumption. It's nearly guaranteed. If you drink every day or heavily on weekends, it'll make you look like crap!!

The good news is that you can reverse this by stop drinking alcohol or severely limiting your intake to once or twice a quarter.

In this episode, I explain my journey from fear to courage to publicly support Trump. I also explain the policy justification Trump, and I respond to the common personal attacks that are used against Trump supporters.

Finally, I explain why Trump, rather than being the next Harold Hill, is actually one of the most authentic and towering presidents of the last 200 years, rivaling FDF, Reagan, and Lincoln.

The Washington Post and PBS are Journalistic Gaslighters of the Deep State (#172, 15 Dec. 2023)

Through the lens of a recent PBS Frontline Documentary, The Discord Leaks, which examines how 21 years told Air Force Guardsman Jack Teixeira leaked national security secrets, I argue that the Washington Post and PBS are gaslighting the American people about the impact of those leaks on national security.

I also argue that the Washington Post's tagline "Democracy Dies in Darkness" is just gaslighting. Indeed, the opposite is true.

In this episode, I explain, in my opinion, why Special Counsel Jack Smith' s Motion to Expedite US Supreme Court review in the DC Jan. 6 case demonstrates that he may be a Sith Lord, and that he well be Count Dooku's errant son, Darth Tyrannis.

All statements made herein are based upon good faith opinion based upon perceptions only and are intended as political parody.

Stop Using WW2 to Support Ukraine War Funding (#169, 9 Dec. 2023)

Stop Using WW2 to Support Ukraine War Funding (#169, 9 Dec. 2023)

In this caffeinated episode, I explain why we should stop using WW2 as the ONLY argument to support Ukraine war funding.

I recently saw a Youtube video of Brian Kilmeade, of Fox New and Vivek. In that episode, Kilmeade pulled out the WW2 trump card, and in this episode, I explain with great clarity why Kilmeade is wrong and why we need a new framework for advocating or opposing Ukraine War funding.

Hue:1968 - A Grunt's Level View of Combat (#166, Nov. 17, 2023)

Whoa, just finished the awesome book, "Hue:1968" by Mark Bowden in 2017. The Battle of Hue occurred during the Tet Offensive in 1968 and was a pivotal battle in the Vietnam war, leading to the famous stalemate broadcast by Walter Cronkite.

I think this book bombed when it came out because of Vietnam fatigue. I grabbed it off the discount table at Prairie Lights in Iowa City. I knew I'd like it because of the author, Mark Bowden who is most famous for "Black Hawk Down" and "Killing Pablo." He's a bad ass writer and about as good as it gets in terms of bringing the sights, smells, and emotions of combat.

Until Zuckerberg comes up with combat VR, the book was just about as close as you can get to feel what's it's like to be in urban combat.

Pierre Poilievre: The "How Do You Like Them Apples" Masterclass for Republicans (#164, 13 Nov. 2023)

Recently, a video involving leading Canadian conservative politician, Pierre Poilievre, went viral.

It's hilarious. Watch it on Youtube or just search for Google: Pierre Poilievre apple video.

In this video, I explore why it worked so well and how Republicans could learn from this video.

Every politician or political consultant should watch this video. It distills a year of political and economics education into 10 minutes.

I also offer up an issue that either Dems or Republicans could use to win the next state election and use Poilievre's techniques to frame the issue, explain the issue, and use the issue to win.

Loved doing this podcast!!

Nikki and Ron: Your China Policy Will Not Win You Any Votes!! (#163, 9 Nov. 2023) Audio episode • 38:03

Nikki and Ron are totally focused on establishing who has the has the best China policy, but in my view, they are totally wasting their time and will not win themselves any votes!

They either need to resign or get new political campaign managers.

In this episode, I explain why.

On Jesus and Questioning as a Sacred Act (#161, 29 Oct. 2023)

Hanging out in the Bible Belt this week and was reminded of an awesome sermon by my pastor about a month ago.

I learned an interesting fact about how infrequently Jesus actually answered questions about his spiritual teachings.

Jesus was asked questions 183 times, but only directly answered three questions. He often responded to a question with another question or a parable.

In this episode, I explore questioning as a sacred act in our relationships and in our spiritual lives.

Professor Krugman Deserves an F for his MAGA-Ukraine Column (#157, 4 Oct. 2023)

It's official. The New York Times has fallen on hard times. It's become nothing more than a propoganda outlet for war loving Dems.

In this episode, I explain why Paul Krugman, Nobel laureate, deserves an F for his incoherent column on the Ukraine War. He failed to address the big issues, ignored gigantic weakness in the Biden's current Ukraine policy, used mathematical tricks that a second grader could spot, and could only resort to sophomoric ad hominem attacks on people opposing US military aid to Ukraine.

Whoa, Krugman represents a new low in the value of a Nobel prize.

Et Tu 60 Minutes? - Scott Pelley Joins the Ukraine Propaganda War (#154, 20, Sept. 2023)

It looks like Scott Pelley and 60 Minutes have joined the Ukraine Propaganda War Machine! Pelley recently interviewed Vladimir Zelensky about the Ukraine War. Pelley lobbed one softball after another and let Zelensky brazenly lie without any hard hitting questions.

60 Minutes has fallen on hard times. It's become the Sunday edition of The View, mostly opinion and infotainment.

In this episode, I explain why.

Life Crafting - Add, Reorganize, and Subtract (#153, 16 Sept. 2023)

Life Crafting - Add, Reorganize, and Subtract (#153, 16 Sept. 2023)

This one might seem a little dull, but I love this particular topic, identifying things we can control or influence that can have a profound impact on our life.

I briefly discuss the work of Amy Wrzesniewski, a Yale professor of management, who came up with the concept of "job crafting". I expand on this and discuss the concept of "life crafting", and the great stoic philosopher, Epictetus.

I share three life crafting examples in my own life relating to adding, reorganizing, and subtracting.
