Keep dreaming with Scott Payseur
Scott Payseur is a fellow Southern Wesleyan University alum and roommate. At an early age Scott was given an vision from God to create a place for young people to go to have fun but also be ministered too outside the church walls. This vision became real and is called Ground Zero. Scott and I talk about how that all came together. Scott is married to Kimberly and they have three kids Holden, Kamron and Marist.
Jenny on a different block
Jenny Perry Bender is the first two time guest on Ember. Jenny is the Social Media Director & Midday On-Air Host at 88.3 WAFJ. Formerly she was one of the Co hosts for the Morning show on Kicks Country in Augusta, Georgia. Jenny talks about what led to this change and how God always seems to have perfect timing. We also talk ministry, music and Jenny's burning bush moment.
Jenny is happily married to Chris and they have two little fur babies.
Darren Potter, Lead Chaplain and Founder of Shield Chap
Darren Potter has done about everything in ministry over the last 30 years but God has preparing him specifically for what he is doing now. Darren has invested his life into ministering to law enforcement and their families. On this episode we talk about how God led him down this journey. He also shares some insight into what law enforcers face on a daily basis and how that impacts their families. Darren and his wife Melanie have two daughters Kristen and Kaitlin who both attend Southern Wesleyan University.

She and her husband Derrick are both professors at the University of Georgia and have two awesome sons Nathaniel and Zachary.

Jeff Eckart lives in Grand Rapids, MI with his wife Arianna. Together they have 3 daughters. Jeff is on the Executive Board for the National Day of Prayer, and speaks locally, regionally, nationally and internationally to audiences of all ages. He has bachelors and master’s degrees in ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and is ordained in the Wesleyan Church. Jarod Latch has been in the media industry for over 20 years. He has been a sports reporter and anchor, play by play announcer and started his own media company called Spiracle Media. Spiracle has won many awards including One of Charlottes "Best Places to Work" in 2018 and 19. Most importantly he is a husband to Jacie and father to Judson and Landon.

Charles is the Director of Strategic Relationships for the Civil Creative Agency and is also a Wellness Strategist. He's a former Wesleyan Youth Pastor and has worked in Sales and Mortgage fields. He is married to Jennifer and has two kids.
Charley takes some time with us to share about his experience in ministry and how it prepared him for his current journey in helping to equip churches and other organizations on focusing on the two E's - experience and environment.
Dr. Derrick Lemons
Dr. Derrick Lemons is an Associate Professor of Religion and the Fellow for the Willson Center for Humanities and Art at the University of Georgia. Dr. Lemons holds degrees from Southern Wesleyan University and Asbury Theological Seminary. Derrick is also a former Pastor and Church planter. He has been married to Paula, who also teaches at the University of Georgia and they have two sons Nathaniel and Zachary.
Derrick shares about his research in the fields of theology and anthropology and how God directed his journey into those fields.
